We can thank our own Western culture for the Japanese obsession with panties and censored genitalia.
Also, the Japanese have all the best vending machines... I've seen so many types of vending machines; used panties, ice cream, manga... I wish we had super cool vending machines like Asia does...
I mean, come on, Japan has Chupa Chups vending machines!

And you can't even buy Chupa Chups at stores in the states. cat_gonk What are those? Some of the most amazing lollipops to ever exist!
They originate from Italy.
One of my favorite Japanese musicians loves them, haha~
They come in ALL sorts of flavors but if you want to buy in the US you basically are limited to online buying...

*meows at and snuggles into side*
's a good thing this cat like animals of the lupine variety.
And it's just not a sound I can make.
I've tried probably hundreds of times but I can't do it, just like rolled Rs.
(Though I'm good at Japanese Rs, which are the approximate of half a rolled R...)
I also can't whistle. cat_sweatdrop
I sometimes snort when I laugh, though.
And I can make a pretty realistic turkey sound!
And I make awkward squeaky noises all the time; I had a friend that nicknamed me Meese because of it.
Oh, and I sound like a pterodactyl when I hiccup.
But, still can't purr or roll Rs, go figure...

It was a requirement to be able to read music when I took chorus; we had one day a week of 'music theory' where we learned to read music and notes and stuff.
I knew how to read music already (I don't just sing, I also play ^^; ) so that day was always hell for me.
We didn't REALLY have required electives, but I had a lot of reqs to graduate with honors. (Three years Spanish (The actual req was at least two credits in two different languages or three in one; we only had one offering, so it was three years or no honors.), full credit of computer, full credit of art, probably a couple other things I can't remember without digging out one of my old planners or course guides [yes, I still have those].) I was also kinda supposed to have taken four mini courses for the OGT (Ohio Graduation Test, our state required test to "be successful at high school" or whatever as opposed to EOCs and stuff like that) but the guidance counselor omitted that for me since I had insanely high grades when I transferred in. >>;
Oh! We were also required to take a course called "Life Planning" where we learned how take care of our own finances and write checks and stuff and had to job shadow someone in a field of interest for us.
