I just don't like those Dreamworksy movies with the cheesy jokes that all the kids quote so much. There's just SO many of them. I probably only gave Wreck-It Ralph a pass because video games. Matthew linked me to the trailer for the Lego movie and I watched it for him, but still thought it seemed kinda dumb.
As for the Lego games, my younger cousins used to show me Lego Star Wars/Batman when I'd visit them and it was just like "so here's a typical video game... and it has Lego people... and yeah"
My brother has Lego City Undercover on Wii U and I've been meaning to try it, but more because of how the gameplay sounds than the Lego people. I just don't get the widespread obsession. Maybe you have to have been a kid that liked Lego. Maybe it's a boy thing.

Downloading Slender has been such a nightmare that I don't even need to play the game. It installed a s**t TON of toolbars and crap I don't want, and then the game wasn't even the version everyone else has wtf

Ok, but holy s**t. I don't think I can handle playing a game like that alone. I was basically just testing it out and I didn't play long enough for Slender Man to move at all but I still screamed a little and my heart was pounding a lot omfg I would have cried
I could probably handle a horror movie alone, but a horror game like that where I'm actually the victim and don't have any weapon and he could warp to right behind me at any time and murder me, not so much. I can't handle screamers either. Those are REALLY unpleasant.

I wish I could swap video games with someone. I'd give my copy of Pokemon Conquest for Mario 64 DS... actually I could make LONG list of DS games I'd trade Conquest for.

Oh what is dis? The Mushishi theme song on my dashboard.
This is the only anime that I have watched every episode of atleast 2 times as an adult or whatever I am.
It's pretty great, like not as an anime even, but just as a thing in general. I'm usually pretty overcritical of the animes because I don't like being a weeaboo or giving [even more awkward] people the impression that they can relate to me through the cartoons I sometimes watch, but anyone who can enjoy mushishi might be an alright person.
It's so episodic in nature. It's got it's little stories and they have their resolutions, but it's a wandering story about a wandering due, which for the most part goes nowhere, but paint a picture. And that's what it is I guess. It's a painting.
Maybe that metaphor only seems okay and not stupid because it's 2 am.
