I'm not all thrilled about taking a sleep aid, but I'm afraid I might end up put on one if I can't at least get 8 hours of sleep soon. My health is taking a nasty hit cause of the lack of sleep, but I gotta wait till the whole change of insurance to new city goes through so that I can finally see a doctor.

I'm still waiting for it to go through so that I can finally go see a doctor, until then I'm stuck battling for my health; both for sleep and for physical health.

Don't even get me started on Scoliosis. I had a friend in...Goddess knows what grade, who had it, and I had to have a surgery at the end of eighth grade to correct my own (a result of my type of Muscular Dystrophy). An eight-hour procedure, lost more blood than I had. Thank the Goddess they managed to clean it and filter it back in as fast as they did! I was laid up for the better part of a month, anaemic and craving fresh air.

I have minor scoliosis that we wouldn't have noticed except that I do ballet and it makes my one leg appear much longer (several inches) than the other and my hips uneven when I stand. I didn't need braces, surgery, or physical therapy luckily and it shouldn't be a problem (but should I ever decide to have kids I'm gonna get it checked out again) Either way I ended up with a crazy number of awesome X-rays that they let me keep!
My bigger problem is that I fell off a zipline a little less than a year ago and in addition to getting the wind knocked out of me (and embarrassing myself to death) I have a small compression fracture in one of my vertebrae that aches from time to time. Lots of fun. (try and avoid doing this if possible) So yeah that's about it.

I don't have any of those conditions. I just have severe allergies, a chest condition called Costochondritis, severe nerve damage in my right leg and unknown nerve damage in my lower back. And recently, I seem to be having skin reactions to something and I can't even go to a doctor to get it checked out. I keep breaking out in a rash or bumps from it. It worries me a little that it's happening in the first place. My biggest battle is the nerve damage and getting all my teeth yanked due to some faulty dental work a few years back. Hehehe, that's gonna be fun....

*shudders* I hate having my teeth worked on. best of luck to ye.
Also a lot of times I get random rashes that turn out to be eczema or really badly dry skin. probably 80% of rashes can be cured with either lotion, aloe, or vitamin E (or some combination)...or windex (hahaha I'm kidding.)

Eek. My nerves have only caused me trouble during that month of post-surgery (and a bit after that); It really hurt, especially for a little pinch. I can't really relate on that, I guess. But, for being able to carry on despite your hardships, I give you, Sapphire, my utmost respect. heart *gluggles*

You got that right. I've never let the nerve damage in my ankle get to me, well not unless it takes out my ability to walk for a few hours to a day. ^^ Hehehe, only happens when the nerves aren't wanting to be nice.
I'm pretty sure someone is worse off than I, but I'm always giving my best hopes and wishes to that person usually. Which gets me in trouble cause I tend to forget about getting some of my own health stuff taken care of.
