Queen Spazzy I always found long essays easier. [/nerd] Having an upper limit was always worse for me, I'm terribly verbose. >>; I LIKE WORDS. On another note, my mummy might be taking me to the Sherlock exhibit at Cosi sometime!
Well, I think I know what I'm writing about. Here's my thesis so far:
The television show, Sherlock, presented by the British Broadcasting Network, takes steps to modernize the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Connan Doyle to interest a younger, modern audience.
My supporting paragraphs would be talking of character development, gore, and incorporation of original characters to establish the relationship of old and new. I was debating if I should talk about technology, but I think I'll avoid that.
I totally get the "no set limitation/longer limitations" being helpful. I've always tended to ignore page restrictions when it comes to creative writing.
OMG WHERE IS THAT MAYBE I CAN MEET UP WITH YOU AND WE CAN BOTH SQUEEL TOGETHER AT STUFF.

Sounds like a nifty paper~ I tried to enter a Halloween story contest at my high school once. Apparently the limit was one page? I exceeded it by two pages or something because it's just not possible for me to write something I LIKE in so few words. According to my beau, the person who got my story tossed it without hardly looking at it because of the length (his English class wrote the school paper and went through the entries to choose winners). Actually, I can't even read short stories on the internet that are less than ~1,000 words because I can't stand short things, they don't entertain me long enough and I generally hate the writing style of things shorter than that. (I prefer 10k+ words, to be honest, 'cause I'm weird.) Cosi (Center of Science and Industry) is in Columbus, click! for their site. It's kinda expensive to get in and you have to pay for parking plus an extra fee to get into Sherlock since it's a special exhibit, but it's worth it, Cosi is something you can run around at all day and still not see everything. I've been once before when I was, like, ten? It was amazing, I've wanted to go again since I moved up here. It'd probably be a good place to meet up, actually, very public, but it'd be rather far for you... ~8-9 hours drive or so, assuming you live by the coast. Though it would be an easy enough drive, you could ride I-76 and I-70 the whole way pretty much.

Moonlight Fox Spirit Darkness Dragons Revenge Moonlight Fox Spirit Hay people we are still short here come on have you no pride! bummer on the essay. If not for spell check I would be SOL myself. Lol WE'RE TRYING! AND FAILING SLOWLY (or is it succeeding slowly?)
Yah I got my thesis though (never mind that I have to rewrite the word "thesis" a million times before I get it right for some reason lawl) I think it is we are succeeding slowly there really is no such thing a slow fail as to fail on its own means your chance to reach your goal is out of reach forever and so long as there is at least one active member in the guild there is no way to fail.
... I like this.

Darkness Dragons Revenge Queen Spazzy *flails* My beau and I got a PS4 wicked cheap a few days ago. Essentially new; never played, just not in the box. And we got a free indie game on it called Resogun. Oh my gooooosh. It is SO. MUCH. FUN. Like Rez HD on the Xbox only it's in outer space instead of cyberspace. We also got, uhm, inFAMOUS Second Son, I think it's called? The main character is voiced by the same guy that voices Snow Villiers in all the FFXIIIs. Also, the main character is essentially a carbon copy of Snow just with his hair dyed. It's kind of funny, really. I never saw us as the type to ever own a next gen console, though... WOAH Nice job! I want a PS4 or an XBOX can we play together if we ever hang out? emotion_kirakira
I really desperately want a Wii U, actually. ^^; I'm sort of a Nintendo fangirl. And absolutely~ I'll have to track down some two player stuff, though. My collection consists almost entirely of single player games. I'm THAT antisocial. I think we have RE6 around, though, and it has co-op, so we could both laugh hysterically as we fail at shooting zombies. Or I could get out my Wii! We have House of the Dead 2 and 3 on it, it's fun to play two player! (And relatively easy to play, I play it with my six-year-old minion, although, granted, he is better at shooting zombies than I am.) I could find something though, I'm sure, and we could game and have fun~
