I'd take Lucario over Mewtwo any day of the week.

[Kegan] Toon link could be way coolio if they did what they did to him in project M and gave him a new moveset based on his attack animations from wind-waker. as you probz know that mod is beloved by melee nerds. I don't even know if smash balls exist in it. But they could totally have given toon link a different final smash. Maybe involving a tornado/cyclone. I haven't seen Toon Link (Tink, if you're a super cool Melee f*****t) in Project M, mostly because I hate Project M, though I do hear some neat things about it. I like that they're working on making characters unique, but it's mostly coming from a place of "which clone character is lower tier, switch that character's moves completely." Then they show off a video of how said character has new moves and they're all broken so now it's just a dance of chain combos, spikes, edgehogging, wavedashing and chain grabs. [Kegan] And there's no reason there can't be 4 or 5 pokemon in the game. It's a big series with a lot of following. Yeah, but at the same time you don't want to over/under-represent any one franchise too much. Then again, we don't know exactly how many characters we're going to get. Brawl just has us conditioned to panic every time we see an "alright" character return because it means some possible new, awesome character may not get to be added.

[Kegan] Do you think that megaman's appearance in smash bros is going to create a demand for a new mega-man platformer? The appearance of marth and roy in Melee got people interested in a localization of fire emblem, but that's different from making a whole game. plus Mega Man has already been popular here. released biannually and drained of all property value by a billion GBA and DS spin off games. I think Mega Man's appearance will get Capcom more money in merch, but what they do with that attention is anyone's guess at this point. His 25th anniversary came and went with a few pieces of merch and a Street Fighter fan-made crossover.

Xilo The Odd i hope they do bring mewtwo back to smash bros. its not like picking his mega would be hard, there are X and Y buttons arent there? you hit B then hit one of the buttons, if no button is pushed it picks at random. That's pretty brilliant, though I wonder if giving an option for two types would make his a little TOO good. Same with PKMN Trainer if he comes back with Charizard. I would mash X every time for that. 16-bit Jazzy I wonder if Jigglypuff and Pokemon Trainer will still be in. I hope there's at least a new/different Pokemon character that wasn't playable in Brawl. Yeah, I'm all for a new Pokemon. I'd at LEAST like Mewtwo to return, but if there aren't ANY new Pokemon I'll be pretty sad. Omg what if Hawlucha and Aegislash are in Pokeballs omg. I think Jigglypuff will still be in, just for tradition and Pokemon Trainer... They gotta keep him. I just hope they keep his Pokemon too because I'm a nostalgiafag and because Charizard is kind of the most popular Pokemon ever. What new Pokemon would anyone add?

16-bit Jazzy I'm glad the children of my house are FINALLY excited about video games though. I hope they decide to watch the Pokemon DVDs I left out sometime. Are they playing a lot, now? Do they still just have one Wiimote? 16-bit Jazzy UGH I LOVE SMASH 64 THE MUSIC AND SOUNDS ARE SO RAD. Whenever you hit someone it's like POOWWWW and it's so MMM And then all the original music like fighting polygon team, metal mario, victory, how to play, break the targets/board the platforms... those make me feel all warm inside. I think in one of the games the US release got softer sounds. Maybe the original Japanese SSB has more "hardcore" sound effect.

Ribbin I'd take Lucario over Mewtwo any day of the week. I'd take Mewtwo just for the sheer fact that we JUST had a game with Lucario and Mewtwo could come back and not be terrible if they actually tried to balance him out. Lucario is alright, I'm glad his "revenge aura" is getting buffed a bunch because he's a pretty mediocre fighter until he gets to like 120% and then he's just "okay" but "probably gonna die soon."

Yeah, the most recent project M update added mewtwo back, which was neat, but he's super overpowered, or I am super good with him. I'm inclined to think the former.
it also completely changed samus's move set so that a certain taunt makes her switch between fire and ice missiles. Where the fire missiles moveset is pretty much standard samus, the ice missiles give her like, an uppercut and just too many moves.
If a character is too versatile, it can become annoying too.
I didn't really see samus as needing a new moveset, but they gave her a crawl too (morph ball) which just makes too much sense. Like, if there are characters that can crawl, why couldn't samus roll? It never even occurred to me how weird it is that we only see her morph ball in her down special.
It makes sense that the people ho make Project M would want to completely change her, though, because I hear all these people whining about how samus is BOTTOM TIER OMG.

For the North American release NoA made all the punching and hitting sound like bowling pins getting knocked over. Japan got normal punches and stuff. Also the beam saber (sabre?) sounded more like a lightsaber.

I don't even remember wher eI learned that. Probably "did you know gaming."
Did you know that Mario was originally going to be a male prostitute? Evidence of this change is visible in an unused sprite of Mario giving Donkey Kong a hand job.Plans were progressing smoothly until the game changed lead developers. Due to Mr. sakamoshi tomogachi san's previous bad experiences as a sex slave in Shibuya, it was decided late into Donkey Kong's development to change Mario's profession to a carpenter, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Whaaaat. I wanna hear those Jap sounds! I doubt they could possibly be any better than the NA ones, though. Oh man, the beam sword sound. Seeexy.
The kids still have one Wiimote but like watching each other. My mom said that if I find any cheap ones, I should buy them and she'll pay me back.
Also I just had pizza topped with blue cheese, walnuts and raisins. It was disgusting.

Cheapest way to acquire a wii remote plus is usually bundled with a game that is on clearance. A while ago you could get fling smash for like 10 dollars and it came with a black remote plus. I think I posted about it here.

They definitely do not. I hate when people make gross food because it's supposed to be "adult" and "rich", like no actually it's just terrible.
Yeah, I don't know if we have deals like that in Canadian stores? The cheapest I've seen a Wiimote for is like 20$, used. I think I might get a couple off ebay or something.
