ForsakenSwordsman Don't give N Brawl (There must have been a better name..) a second thought. It was a decent idea but it would need a bunch more players than we can muster in the Cult AND I really should be doing other stuff. You're right..Inny (I'm not sure why I started calling her that either) is a sweetheart. We are totally old though XD.. but I dare say I'm a fair bit older. I'm the Cult Grandfather. I eat spam fritters..greasy, ugly things that cannot be good for me in the slightest. And thus I like them. Well, there's a bunch of people I see about who are way more active than I am with these things..though I've yet to meet someone who is as diverse with their games/ideas as I am so I'm holding onto that. And I'm a little proud that when I do something like that I do it properly..or at least try to do it properly..plenty of people get bored or half a** it. I do it for the love of seeing people enjoying something I made mostly. That and all the women it gets me. The Cult never started to die!! Blasphemy! It just kinda..fell into a coma. And aaah I see..you started dating Fish for his power huh! Sleeping your way to the top..for shame. I wouldn't have any regrets about it though..and you'll hopefully be here when we experience our grand revival. Though I actually kinda like it how it is..maybe need a few more people but it's comfy. I keep coming back and I don't do that anywhere else so that really says something I think. I'll be original and make you Fish's b***h in the story then..and not just because every time I scan back up the page my eye gets caught on the word "b***h" you posted...that'll be your official title, just "Fishy b***h" or something. END OF SUPER RESPONSE Heh. This guild is so empty now that there's hardly even a need for power. If there were, though, I'm sure he wouldn't make me a moderator anyway. That just wouldn't be right. And a lot of fun. Thank you. There is just something about this place that makes everyone come back once in awhile. It's great. You're right though, it is sort of better with less people. It was harder to actually talk to people when it was really crowded, I guess? Maybe that's just me. I remember being a young teenager here, and everyone was stating their ages to see who was the oldest, and you were like 20 or something. I thought that was soooo old back then, hahaa. Was that when you started drawing seriously? Around when you were drawing us all in Wind Waker style?

Hehe, well the sort of power that one gets from such a place is rather meaningless regardless. Just ask Fish! I'm sure he would make moderators out of whoever he thinks would do the best job and not based on who he likes the most anyway..like how he made Kegan a mod because...........huh. I'm far too mean to Kegan but it's all in jest. Is my sense of humour dammit! Well anyway, if you seriously think he wouldn't make you a mod then maybe you're not sleeping with him hard enough!!
If you like that nickname that much I'll be certain to use it all the time..not a problem XP.

Well, you probably don't think this seeing as how vocal I can be around here at times, but I'm an anti social "love the quiet and stuff" sorta guy so the current cult is fine by me. I guess there are pros and cons to both though. Eh.
Yeah..I'm 31 now which is rather alarming. I don't feel it..or act it..just wish I could make a little more career progress but meh. Welcome to the oldies club also.
Did I start drawing seriously back then? Mm..that's a tricky one. I've been drawing all my life and before I joined the Cult I'd done several Art course and all sorts..but my art has kinda been gradually stepping up in seriousness so the Wind Waker art was another step towards true seriousness if that makes sense. It was about that time I made my Deviant Art account and I was getting tutored regards really expressing my personal style so..yup.

I need a volunteer in their early 20s or so to be an interviewee for a sociology assignment I'll have to do later this month. I can't ask Fish because it can't be a family member or sig. other. Anyone want to feel important?
There may be other specifications. I don't have the prompt yet.

An art tutor sounds like a fun thing to have. I've only had French, chemistry and math tutors... not as fun to work with someone closely on. ~_~
Plus that would be a good thing to draw motivation from. Alas, money.

I wanted to get into the "NBrawls" but I've been keeping myself busy with fitness goals, job applications and ummm... Uhhh, well... way too much Monster Hunter, actually. I've already clocked like a solid 24 hours in the 4 or 5 days I've owned it. Very little of that is from me leaving the game on while I did other stuff.
I need to not be so self conscious about drawing. I get down on myself I think, especially since I began using a wacom tablet. I have natural problems with hand eye coordination and I could just never make that leap and set aside all my learned muscle memory. Then I just started to hate drawing, because I couldn't overcome this one hurdle. And then I stopped giving it the time of day. I've bought sketch pads that I barely filled out. I carried one around with me for the longest time. And I'd draw in it maybe once a week. Now it's been ages. It feels like months since I just sat down and drew. How terrible is that? I haven't even drawn any little schematics for pottery stuff.
And I've just been going through the motions when making pottery, too. Months of plain form vessels. No spark. No innovation. Just keeping my throwing skills moderately honed, waiting for something to click. But I have no goals. I told myself that this would be the year i finally got big on sets. Woo.

Even if this place has quietened down now I think it really says something that it's still even active at all. How many Nintendo guilds can say that? *ahem* OH SNAP! ForsakenSwordsman Also it's called the Spam Can which is a good name. Better than say..Spam Hut..or Spam Jam..Spam Tin mayhaps. Spamaramadingdong.. Spam Fortress..Spam Motel.. OH SNAAAP! Sounds like someone has gotten a little too big for his britches..I might have to stage an elaborate and ultimately pointless rebellion. BECAUSE MY d**k IS TINY. Seriously though..Big Cult and Small Cult both have their problems. Both are called Fish. Hohohohohoho. Seriously though, is a great place this place. Oh and as for all the SNAP's..they were on purpose of course. I tried to help support everyone when the Cult split..even hosted a mini deathathon over there..but ******** being neutral. I'm glad I'm still here in the Cult whilst all the pretenders have long since died out. @Jazzy - I could totally be an art tutor..give me a few years to learn what art is and I'll get back to you. @Kegan - Stuff you said in that post is very ..I can relate. 'cept I do all my digital stuff via mouse. It's easy to beat on yourself..hell I did it just the other night..or feel bad for missing weeks of potential drawing but it's probably better just to take action..and most importantly find your own way of doing things. Draw bigger they said to me..so I draw on A4 for everything..because ******** you..and I developed my own ******** art style because ******** you. It sounds cliche but the only way to get better is to practice..so just draw and don't waste time. I have a little drawing I did on my wall that says "don't waste time".. I'm sad like that.

I have a tablet too but I LOST THE PEN. Goddamn.
I prefer drawing directly on paper or whatever but I can't have pretty colors and effects without a tablet... crying
There's always Art Academy: Sketchpad but that tries to emulate drawing on paper. Not the same thing.
