Looking after my Gran after her heart op...
And since she got better I don't really know what else I've been doing really.
I missed Gaia, or more to the point the people on Gaia, so I decided to drop in and stick around for a while.
Whatcha been up to? Anything happen while I was disappeared?

Oh wow, sounds like you were kept busy for a while, then! Glad she's gotten better.
Aww, we were missed, that makes me feel special~
I've been up to... Basically nothing.
I dropped out of college, I think that's new news for you? I can't remember... I couldn't handle the social requirements or stress and the uni pulled all my scholarships because I dropped a class I'd have failed anyway. The people at the uni were asshats, anyway, so there's little love lost from me.
I think that's probably the only thing I've been up to other than playing games and taking care of dogs and whatsuch at home.
I can't think of anything that's happened while you were gone...
Well, you know, other than Gaia's economy has been thoroughly destroyed in the last few months.
Then again, my memory is generally bad so perhaps I just don't remember all that has happened. >>;

Let's see what games I can remember. ^^;
I finished Terranigma recently! Which feels weird to me since it was the last of a trio of related games and I've yet to finish the first two.
My beau bought a Wii U today and brought it over to let me play while he's at work; he bought the second Epic Mickey for me, I was so excited I seriously fangirl squealed. I just spent three hours or so binge-playing, haha~
Oh, and a game by an indie dev, Lili: Child of Geos. So in love with that game.
I think those are all my really recent ventures? Probably. ^^;
And gold granters happened. They release or discount one pretty much every single day of the week and the most recent ones apparently have a chance of granting up to 25 trillion gold.
Which, seriously, how does that work when the gold an account can hold has a hard cap around two-ish trillion? Unless it grants as the mythril coin items they came up with for users to get around the cap without creating endless mules...
But, basically, they've created a situation where users essentially HAVE to buy cash and try their luck with gold granters to get anything not in a gold shop because of the continued artificial inflation caused by each subsequent release of another granter.
Fun times, fun times.

Well that explains a whole heap of things... Like how people can sell crap for stupid money like 10 billion gold.
Wow, I really didn't think they could do it but the Gaia admins have managed to screw the site up even more.
Also what's this Lili: Child of Geos about? Sounds interesting.

Yeahh, it sucks.
For stubborn people like me who refuse to buy in and don't play the market that means for a lot of lusting after items I'll never be able to afford.
I think Gaia as a corporation passed to a new president while you were gone?
Around the time that happened is when everything started going to hell, hand basket not required.
The basic gist of Lili is you play a girl who's traveled to a supposedly uninhabited island to collect flowers for a research project, but when she gets there it's actually inhabited by things called constructs and spirits and she spends the course of the game making friends with the constructs and trying to help them out and save them from the tyranny of the spirits.
You have to chase down the spirits to 'battle' them, which you do by jumping onto their backs and trying to pluck flowers off them before you lose your grip; if you pluck enough flowers, it reveals a different type of flower that's really rare and when you steal it they basically fly off and disappear.
It's kinda silly, but it has a nice story to it and I'm not generally one to replay anything but I'm definitely going to play Lili over a ton of times, haha~
EDIT: As an addendum, I was looking on the Steam page for Lili and it appears to be half off right now as part of their summer sale, so if you think it's something you'd like and you use Steam, you can check it out there. c:
(Or you can click here for its Steam page on the web to get a little more in-depth info.)

It looks like something I'd play, but would never tell my friends about. Only due mainly to the fact they only ever see me play things with dark story lines such as Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, Demon Souls and stuff like that.
I am now thinking about buying it and putting Steam back on my pc...
I will have to ponder on this.

Heyy, those are good games too, so it's cool~
Lili is way up my alley, I love quirky and innovative things.
I fangirled over it when I saw it on Greenlight and then my beau gifted it to me just after it released.
I played it obsessively until he took his desktop away from me. >>;
My friends are actually more surprised when they find out I play darker, more violent things (inFAMOUS Second Son~ emotion_kirakira I also have a friend who was thoroughly baffled when I said I love Oblivion) than when I admit to loving something childish/light/quirky, so I'm more likely to hide things the other way 'round. >>;
They also have it available on iOS devices, if you have one of those; though, from what I understand, that version is lower end and has less content.

I'll have to buy a decent gaming pc I just remembered I burnt out my video card on this one... Not only that there's probably not enough memory left on this thing anymore now either lol.
