I don't understand why this 2008 Harvest Moon game gets things wrong that they totally got right in AWL. Like... there's SO MANY LOADING SCREENS. And the camera angle is shitty so I never know where I'm going and I'M SO ******** WEAK I'M TIRED OUT BY LIKE 9AM UGH. It's already Summer and I still don't have ANY animals on my farm because this protag is such a lil b***h. I swear to god. "oh no, watering 12 entire plants makes me so tired i think i'm going to pass out"

Ew loading screens.
D: What the hell? All I can find from google is to use the hot spring and to do a lot of mining.

Oh hey you're back from the dead. The... Gaia dead. Or something.

I totally missed the hot spring! Apparently there's 5 power berries in the game to increase your strength, but they're all a pain to get when you're so weak. One is supposedly on the very bottom floor of the mine, but my character gets tired WAY too easily to make it all the way down there.

IT'S COOL. I'll find one eventually.

(seriously though how many games have you play as a someone who is actually weaker than you? it just seems cruel)

Had weird Majora's Mask-related dreams and then woke up at 6AM for some reason and couldn't go back to sleep.

Played ACNL. Heard 6AM music for the first time (rainy version). If you actually play AC games that early, the music suits that early morning, "just woke up" feeling so well.

I miss Galesburg. You'd think the only reason anyone would ever like a place like that would be for the people, but nope. I still miss that place even though Matthew moved away.

It was so small, cute and peaceful (...ish...except for when that guy got stabbed). THIS was like really tall for a building!! The restaurants were good. People knew each other a lot, like a little Harvest Moon town or something.

I kind of love every place I've been to in the US, though. >_>

HALF THE PLACES HAD LIKE PALM TREES AND s**t I'M ANGRY. Okay, not half. Just Vegas and Virginia Beach. Still, grrr.

Boston is really nice too. Omg I want to go to PAX or another gaming convention again so badly. Best time ever, even with heels. crying

I should probably see more of Canada. I just don't know anyone outside of Ontario or Quebec so there's never any reason to go anywhere else. sweatdrop

I wish there were a good reason to go to Vancouver, BC.
