[Kegan] Pretty sad that I'll never be able to play Mario Kart DS online even if I get it now. But I also know I'm not missing out on much. It ends in May, right? You've got time. MKDS online is great outside of snakers, which have probably mostly died off anyway. I met hackers a few times and they hacked so we could race in battle courses (no online battle mode for that one). I don't know. I just like MKDS because it's the one game I'm good at. [Kegan] SNAKING SNAKING SNAKING GOAAAAAAL *sonic X theme* If anyone ever picked the Egg 1 or the Dry Bones tank you knew they were a piece of s**t. Or if they picked figure-8 circuit. GAWD it's the worst for snaking. No one ever found out the ROB-BLS could snake just as well. Their loss.

16-bit Jazzy I miss Galesburg. You'd think the only reason anyone would ever like a place like that would be for the people, but nope. I still miss that place even though Matthew moved away. It was so small, cute and peaceful (...ish...except for when that guy got stabbed). THIS was like really tall for a building!! The restaurants were good. People knew each other a lot, like a little Harvest Moon town or something. I kind of love every place I've been to in the US, though. >_> HALF THE PLACES HAD LIKE PALM TREES AND s**t I'M ANGRY. Okay, not half. Just Vegas and Virginia Beach. Still, grrr. Boston is really nice too. Omg I want to go to PAX or another gaming convention again so badly. Best time ever, even with heels. crying Galesburg is a shithole. I hope I never live there again. xd There's nothing to DO. Granted, I don't do much here but there are at least options when I want to do something and a bigger range of people with possible shared interests. I wish there were another cool gaming convention that wasn't HUEG like PAX is now. It was almost too much.

Yeah there's no real point in playing MKDS now unless you're a snaking piece of s**t 3nodding . MK7 is superior.

The point would be to play some of the MKDS stages that aren't in any other games. That game seriously had some of the best designed courses.

MK7 is where it's at when it comes to wifi.

Pretty much. The only niceish thing about MKDS's online is that it maxes at four players so it's a lot more managable.

I haven't played that online (or had it, probably, lol) since 2007 and I just remember having a hard time finding three people. When I did get people, they'd always drop out and s**t. (or snake)
ONE TIME. NO ONE SNAKED OR DROPPED OUT. AND I WON. I WILL NEVER FORGET IT. they were probably all 8
Just four people seems kinda lonely, imo.

I'm just bothered that I missed out on a lot of Wii and DS games when those systems were in their prime and I never got to get all swept up in the hype. And I'm never gonna be amazed by how MKDS looks better than the N64 game or whatever, because I've played 7, and that one kinda looks better than the wii game in some ways, soooooo yeah.
Where was I going with this?

Ehhh, you probably didn't miss out on too much. There's usually a better version out now of everything so I'd just focus on the nice things you're not missing out on now 3nodding
There isn't, however, an online multiplayer Metroid game anymore
EHhhhhhh
(I never got to try that one with friends, but I sucked a** at it both online and off sooo it's probably for the best)

I don't know but I mean there's not going to be a Metroid game to replace it. Like we either have or are getting a newer, better version of almost all the good Nintendo WFC games.
Maybe at E3 2014.
