See, traditionally, long term relationships were based on mutual co-dependance. I think the concept of romantic love, like, in the modern sense, atleast, is a really recent construction.
And by recent, I guess I mean ancient, but not prehistoric... Heh.

I don't know. It sure feels real for a construction.
(real bad atm)
I guess that might actually be more the negative effects of attachment, and jealousy. Those aren't constructions, just real things we acknowledged by naming.
"Love" is maybe just a word for (mutual) attachment. That's all it is. It makes people happy when they can safely be attached because people are needy social beings. Lack of social bonds is what makes people kill themselves, usually.

To make matters worse, men and women just don't always have the same needs. Like a lot of men tend to be driven by their built-in desire to do the sex and "reproduce". Like mindless, sentient penors. Forgive me, I'm feeling a bit sexist at the moment due to bitterness at relationship end.
I feel like it would be easier for gay relationships to work than straight, perhaps somewhat ironically? If you're the same sex as someone, then you have more similar bodies and emotional/sexual needs, perhaps causing less conflict between you.

Eh, someone's always gonna be the pitcher and someone's always gonna be the catcher.

I think my 8 year old brother has been adding stuff to your Jay-mart, J. razz
I told him not to mess with other people's stuff, but, well, he's a lil' butthole, so what can you or I do to stop him?

Yeah, I saw the OoT map. Some of it was pretty neat, but I wonder how good it would actually seem without the custom textures and shaders to make it not look like minecraft.

Oh, my back hurts. I blame this weather, Too-hot nights that transition into beastly cold mornings.

Outside, yes.... Well kinda.
But at sunrise, in the western half of the house, it's the coldest it's gonna get. The temperature just keeps dropping until then, but when you're going to be it has a long way to go.
So you can be warm all night, and boil in the first half of the night, or kick off all the sheets and wake up at 5 am freezing, with weird muscle aches.
And then you wake up boiling again at 9 or 10 depending on the time of year.

But in this house, around an hour after I wake up because I kicked off all the sheets to get cool and then woke up freezing, the kids start to wake up and make their loud autistic noises and throw their loud spoiled brat autistic fits.
So from about 7-9 I convince myself I'm gonna fall back alseep, and I just lie there miserable.
And since the entrance to my room has glass french doors (This was a bonus room when we moved in, but they didn't add the door on until they made it my little sister's nursery, so it's pretty dumb. There's curtains, but they're thin/useless.) and because my OCD/crazy little brothers have to turn on every single light in the house at the crack of dawn. (They mostly stay out of my room. mostly) my room is nice and ILLUMINATED after 7am.
