A super spin attack final smash would also be neat. Most of the games Toon Link has been in now didn't feature the Wind Waker at all.

Jarogue Can anybody think of A Namco Bandai character that could be added to Smash, since they are helping make the game. I know Pacman might be a pick, but what other characters could they choose. I think Pac-Man is the most likely and really the only one they'd use. A character from Soul Calibur would just be... too weird and uninteresting, I think, though I did think the same thing about Snake. But seriously, the craziest you'd get is like, Yoshimitsu. And even then he seems pretty tame compared to some of the Smash Bros.

Meta_Fish Jigglypuff's should be like, Moonblast or something now. Yoshi's could be a giant egg from New Island. Pikachu's needs to be made better at least. I wonder what DK's will be. omg talk about this in the smash thread I have to go to bed BYE NOPE! I'm just gonna talk about it RIGHT HERE. What are you gonna do, BAN ME????

Xathoa Fair enough. Ah, Four Sword Adventure was a lot of fun. I played that with my sister, brother and mother. I quite enjoyed it.
Oh, I can give a suggestion. emotion_awesome Dark Souls. I love that game.
I can't pre-order. Anyway, I'm hesitant to pre-order anything nowadays. I don't really approve of selling an unfinished product for promise of potentially more. A few games just fall flat on their face with pre-order promises executed horribly. I buy games once released, or when they decided "Hey, Game-of-the-Year edition!". That's when you get a lot of stuff. I was liking Four Swords until it became a common problem that playing the game 1 or 2 players is a pain in the second half of the game. We keep grabbing different items, but then it turn out you both need the same item to fight in the next room. I would like to play Dark Souls but I already have so many game that I need to finish or even start. Like I just got Evolution: The World of Sacred Device and might not play it for a while. I think now that my N64 controller is fixed I might start Goemon's Great Adventure or I could go back to playing Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon since I'm no longer pissed off about that floor glitch. Also I'm the opposite when it come to pre-orders. I like pre-ordering. It gives me a time frame on when I have to save my money to get the game. And the feeling of playing a new game and the world (except youtube) can spoil what is in it because it new.

I think they should gave him the rapid punches he does in both Jungle Beat and Returns.

They'll be bringing a Namco Bandai character, possibly? I really like the idea of Klonoa. But.... I just though of Dark Souls, immediately. Summoned from a summoning sign. Pyromancies, sorceries, miracles, then maybe a Sark Knights Sword. But that would NEVER happen, since the developer is FromSoftware. And it's not out-there enough.
Klonoa is a good idea. the ring is a good grab as well as maybe a momentary stun. He can call his side-kick for an extra jump, and there should be a fre other good moves.
As far as four swords: I can understand that frustration. Thing is, with four people, I think it was easier handing out tasks between us and stuff. We always knew who was using what and we'd trade items when we wanted.
Do eet though! It's soooo goood!~<3 The atmosphere is dripping with stories to be told. And beating a boss is so very satisfying. Well, go ahead and pick what you think is best though. I tend to play multiple games at a time. x'D So... yeah.
That's fair. Maybe I'm just a little sore about Dark Souls II's pre-order. I remember when it and Demon's Souls first came out, the people who made it were very much like "It's a completed game on release. we wanted to give the full benefits like all those older games, and not need to keep buying pieces of the game to make it whole". And then with the pre-order bonus that gave you some new weapons... I was a bit upset. That didn't feel Souls-ish at all. D:

I can't see any of the Namco characters you guys have mentioned making it in, but that's just me. Are Klonoa games even that good or popular? I always thought it looked like a Sonic rip-off.
I know SoulCalibur is popular, and Link has made a guest appearance in that, but it would just seem weird the other way around. As far as I can tell, people don't like SC for the characters so much. Or at least, I don't find any of the characters in SC1 to be all that compelling, and I can't picture people getting excited about them being in Smash.
They already have some representation of old Namco arcade titles in the game, like Galaga. I think they were assist trophies or something? They're not going to have Galaga and whatever the other game was but then not have Pacman. Literally everyone knows Pacman. He's simply the most logical choice.

D: Wasn't the pre-order just some weapon and armor that you could get in about 2 hr or something, so you only had a advantage for a little bit. I do hate when pre-orders gave you in game stuff you can't get anywhere, the Yakuza game are a good example. I think I might wait for Dark Souls 2 to die down before I jump in to one. The only thing is I seen two people play Dark Souls already this year so it might be a while be for I want to see it again. Just realized I haven't typed in any of my games I got in to the backloggery for about 3 months. But now looking in to my backlog I should go finish Pokepark 2 since I'm about 3/4 done. Also just realized I haven't tested if have these games even work. Starfox Assult your up.

I have SoulCalibur on Dreamcast and eh, it's okay. I don't get the super critical acclaim. I mean it's got lots to do for a fighting game but the characters seem generic and I just find traditional fighters boring in general.

Kuzodav Little Mac seems like he's one of the most niche characters that's been in a SSB game. STILL WAITING FOR CAPTAIN FALCON. Are you me? Meta_Fish 16-bit Jazzy If Protoman were in, he and Capt. Falcon would be yellow scarf bros. crying Ouch, right in the jibbles.

I think people like Soul Calibur because it was like the first fighting game that was build around swordplay/weaponry. The other thing is, I know in 2, that you can change your weapons which can give you a different move, or power set or something. One weapon change is Link using the Bug Net or Cane of Byrna as a weapon.
The reason I like Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive for that matter, is because they game play is not like that of Street Fighter or King of Fighter. Its not as fast pace and based system on defending and finding a opening with Soul Calibur and Combing but being able counter in a combo when you're stuck in one.
Also if you came for a fighting game for only the characters then you maybe playing for the wrong reason.
