(^__^ Graphic animation movies often are! Like..SHREK! Or Ice Age, which has a third movie coming out next year <3 on July 4th I believe o-o)
Darren rolled his eyes, "This just gets better and better." As they walked in on their respective siblings together, he crinkled his nose. "Yikers."
Maddix groaned and pulled back, and then Sorcia stuck her tongue out at Jaime, "Don't be jealous just cause I got the better brother." she said playfully.
Darren waved a hand, "H-Hey! Be nice!" he laughed.
Derrick nodded, "Anything for you, Dimitri." he said, echoing some of Dimitri's earlier words. His tail wagged a little as his ears perked at the kiss, before the tail stopped and his ears folded back a bit. This was his mother's house..the house he was going to be staying at, assuming she didn't kick him out. What sort of mother left her son with an abusive drunk? He could almost understand if she'd left all the children..but instead..she'd left only him. Derrick glanced towards the shoebox in Dimitri's other hand, thinking of his father within. How would he react to seeing Derrick's mother again? Would she recognize him somehow?

"That's what you think," Jaime retorted to Sorcia's comment before sticking his tongue out at her in return. He looked back up at Darren, beaming.
Dimitri could feel the apprehension in Derrick. He stroked the other's fur gently. "Its going to be alright," he said. "If she's stupid enough to reject you, you know that you'll always have me. We're all the family each other needs," he said reassuringly to Derrick.

(No worries! <3 O_o Lacey IS crazy! ^__^ YAY! Which one did you like best?)
Darren chuckled, wrapping an arm around Jaime's shoulder before kissing him full on the lips, making Maddix and Sorcia make noises of mock-disgust. And then Darren pulled away, looking into Jaime's eyes adoringly for a moment before growing serious as he turned to Sorcia. "Hey Sorcy, there's someone you need to meet..er, re-meet."
She tilted her head, "Huh?"
Darren looked to Jaime then, since this was his brother and sister in truth and so to let him do the honors. He gave Jaime a reassuring, one-armed hug before releasing his love.
Derrick relaxed a little as his fur was stroked. He chuckled in a little growl at the words, moving upwards to lick Dimitri's cheek before rubbing his furry head against the other near his chin. "Mmmhmm, my Dimitri." he said softly, happily, "And you'll always have me." Derrick wouldn't have it any other way.

((Probably Shrek2. Though they're all great. And I really like Shrek the Halls biggrin ))
Jaime welcomed the kiss from Darren and he didn't want it to end. But he knew when he saw the other's face grow serious, it was time. He nodded to Darren after he had finished speaking, silently asking him to bring in Dimitri and Derrick. "Um...Sorcy...I know you probably don't remember much about when we were little...when we lived with...our dad. I was sick a lot and I didn't even remember it," he said, dancing around the subject a bit. "Well....we...we have a brother," he said, finally looking his sister in the eyes.
Dimitri smiled warmly. He couldn't wait until they were both finally able to have human bodies of their own. In his heart...he wanted to have with Derrick what Jaime and Darren had. He didn't dare profess his love for Derrick, though, not only because of the lack of a human body, but also for fear that he didn't feel the same for him...in that way...

(YAY! Shrek the Halls is so cute! Donkey and Shrek are hilarious together! <3)
Darren moved out of the room and to Derrick and Dimitri, "It's time..are you both alright?" he seemed genuinely concerned, his expression open and without deceit. That was just how he was.
Sorcia blinked before she laughed, "Haha, very funny." At Jaime's expression however, the laugh faded and her brow furrowed. "You're..serious, aren't you.." it wasn't really a question. "What are you talking about, how wouldn't we know we had a brother?"

Dimitri looked up at Darren and nodded. "Alright," he said simply. In his mind, as he was sure Derrick's, he was hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. He stepped up to Darren and nodded, indicating they were ready.
Jaime sighed and leaned against the kitchen counter. "I wish I knew how we could forget, but...there was a picture. Of all of us. Mom...you, me, our brother...and our father," he said. "Maybe it was because we were so young when Mom took us away...maybe because we were so preoccupied with my illnesses...who knows. But Sorcy...we have a chance to make it up to him and make a fresh start with him...with our brother."

Darren looked at him a moment before placing his hand on Dimitri's shoulder, "Thank you for taking care of Jaime's brother." he said meaningfully, before removing his hand and going into the kitchen. He stepped aside to let Dimitri and Derrick forward.
Sorcia ran a hand through her hair, "Jaime..that's not..we couldn't just forget a brother.."
Derrick was somewhat tense in Dimitri's arms, and as they entered the kitchen, his ears flattened against his head. Sorcia's expression was one of confusion and disbelief..and he knew how she protected Jaime, once she knew Derrick, Jaime's personal Hell, or former-he should say, was her brother..she'd hate him on the spot.
Sorcia looked to the doorway as 'Derrick' entered, and she blinked a moment as her brow furrowed, before turning to Jaime. "Derrick Kenton? You think Derrick Kenton is our brother?"
At the way she said his name, Derrick shirked a little against Dimitri.
Maddix meanwhile, stood behind the group with his eyes slightly widened and his jaw slightly open before he closed it, his expression becoming neutral very quickly. Derrick wasn't someone he'd ever hung out with, or even really knew, but he recognized a wizard when he saw one, and a switch of souls as well..

Dimitri felt Derrick recoil a bit. "Just remember what I told you," he murmered in the other's ear.
Jaime stood up straight and looked at Sorcia directly. "Sorcy...I know he is," he said. "I had blocked it all out before because it was stuffed with the memories of me being in and out of the hospital...and you know how I still freak out when I have to go to the hospital..." He looked at his sister pleadingly. "Just...just give him a chance," he said quietly.

Derrick swallowed and nodded a little, watching as Jaime reasoned with Sorica..his sister.
Sorcia bit her lower lip lightly, thinking it over. But Jaime wouldn't lie to her about something like this, and surely he wouldn't plot with Derrick..it had to be true..which meant, he really was her brother! Sorcia looked to 'Derrick' and then the dog in his hands and she shook her head with a little laugh. "My brother brings home a brother..and my other brother brings home a dog..it figures." But when she looked back up, there were tears in her eyes and she sniffed. She moved closer to 'Derrick' until she was right in front of him, looking up at him. "I guess there's a little resemblance..either way, Jaime says your my brother. It's a little crazy, and I'd like to see the picture sometime. But if he says you are, then I believe him."
Sorcia bit her lip again as she looked up at 'Derrick' with her teary eyes, scowling slightly and wiping at her face when a tear fell. "Jeese, look what you made me do.." And then without another moment wasted, she came forward and wrapped her arms around 'Derrick', hugging the real Derrick as well in the process. She murmured, "My God..I have another brother." Sorcia hugged 'Derrick' a little tighter, careful not to squish the dog in his arms in the process and she gave in and let several more tears fall.
Derrick saw all of this and felt a brotherly urge to comfort his sister when he saw the tears in her eyes..she was crying..for him? Because she had a brother? She was..happy? Derrick's ears perked and his tail wagged a little, although his joy was slightly tempered by the fact she was speaking to Dimitri and not to him. Still, he grinned doggishly as she hugged them both.

Dimitri watched Sorcia carefully. He could see her disbelief, but then as she reasoned it out, he saw it develop into acceptance. When she embraced him and Derrick, his expression softened a bit, even forming a smile. He hated that he was taking this away from Derrick, though. But he wrapped his free arm around Sorcia, holding her tight for a moment before pulling away and wiping her tears away with his thumb, smiling down at her.
Jaime was relieved to see Sorcia embrace 'Derrick.' For a moment, he wondered if he should tell her about the switch, but for now...he wanted his family's reunision to last.

Sorica felt an arm go around her and she leaned into the embrace, only to stand straight again as her tears were wiped away with 'Derrick's' thumb. She sniffed again before giving a slightly unsteady laugh as she rubbed at her eyes and smiled back, "Don't get used to the waterworks, bud. Consider it part of your homecoming."
Maddix chuckled, "That's right, normally she's heartless."
Sorica rolled her eyes and grinned with a flourishing bow, "That's what they say." She wiped at her eyes again before appearing to have calmed herself, smiling at 'Derrick' with an easy affection and warmth that would make people believe this was a brother she'd known all her life rather than five or so minutes. At least to her memory. And then she leaned to be eye level with the dog in his arm, scratching behind it's ear. "Who's this little cutie?" she asked of 'Derrick' as she glanced back up at him.
Derrick watched the scene play out..Sorcia really was happy that he was here. She was treating him just like a brother..no hesitation or anything..he found himself warmed by the thought and his ears perked. As she scratched his ears, he gave a contented growl that caused her to giggle and he grinned doggishly in pleasure at having made his sister laugh. It seemed she wasn't the only one feeling sibling-related emotions. She asked who he was and his ears drooped just slightly before perking back up again as he looked to Dimitri with the back of his head against Derrick's chest, "She likes me. Just like that." he was beaming a bit, knowing Dimitri would understand what he meant.
Darren smiled broadly as he wrapped an arm around Jaime's embrace and pulled him close as he pressed a kiss to Jaime's head. "It's wonderful." he said softly.

Dimitri couldn't help but chuckle at Maddix's and Sorcia's banter. When she asked about the dog in his arms, he responded, "This is...Rowdy." Smiling down at him hearing his comment, Dimitri kissed Derrick's head and whispered, "I knew she would like you." He had his doubts, but deep down, he knew blood would win over.
Jaime closed his eyes when he felt Darren's lips press against his skin. "It is...isn't it?" he said with a contented sigh. Right now...for this one moment...everything felt...perfect. Well, as perfect as it could have been considering the circumstances.

(O-o that word made me think of electricity..many volts..wootage sounds like..VOLTAGE! and that pokemon..Voltorb? or something like that? o-o)
Sorcia smiled and tapped 'Rowdy's' nose as she looked back at him, after he'd received 'Derrick's' kiss. "Well then, hello Rowdy. Welcome to the family." she correctly assumed he was not going to be parted from 'Derrick', and she pressed her lips to his nose in a light kiss before Maddix caught her by the waist and hugged her, lifting her up as she yelped.
Maddix mock-frowned, "You're giving my kisses to dogs. That's not very nice."
Sorcia squirmed playfully in his arms, "Leggo of me, you knave."
"Wench." he responded with a grin as he pressed his lips to the back of her head before setting her down to nod at 'Derrick'. They'd met a few times, but they hadn't seen each other in a year or so. And of course, this wasn't Derrick anyway, so he reintroduced himself with a smile as he kept an arm around Sorcia while he held out his other hand to shake, "Hello..Derrick." there was something in his tone that was almost teaasing when he said the name, "I'm Maddix, Darren's older brother. And this lovely lady's future husband."
Sorcia crinkled her nose and playfully whacked his shoulder, "Oh be quiet. Who'd wanna marry you?"
Maddix grinned down at her, "Well that depends..who are you?"
Sorica rolled her eyes in mock-exasperation that was ruined by the warm smile on her lips.
Derrick had growled again at the kiss, licking Dimitri's chin once before Sorcia began speaking to him. And then Maddix picked her up..they were..lovers? His sister was dating Darren's brother? He hadn't known Maddix too well, but the other had no bad reputation to speak of and had always been a good kid as far as he knew. Derrick decided that he didn't mind..as long as Maddix kept the public displays of affection to a minimum, or else Derrick would have to try out his new fangs..

Dimitri looked from Sorcia to Derrick and back again. He couldn't help but chuckle silently, knowing exactly what he was thinking. "Don't worry, if he gets out of line, you can bite his ankles," he teased, whispering in the other's ear again.
Jaime finally stepped up and rolled his eyes at the Maddix/Sorica marriage joke. "Well...Derrick...let's get you and...Rowdy here set up in a room," he said. He had always been awful at lying, except when he was hiding his feelings from Darren. Somehow, that felt necessary.

(O_O dun dun dun. I was OBSESSED with it for a long time. I ate, drank, and slept Pokemon. o_O and then they kept making the new stuff and it got icky and I switched to Yu-Gi-Oh! Haha o-O have you ever had any kind of obsession/get into thing?)
Derrick tilted upwards and batted at Dimitri playfully, "Oh? And what should I do if you get out of line, my friend?" his tone was playful as well.
Darren thought of something as he leaned to Jaime and spoke in his ear, "What about Giamonde?" b*****d though he was, he was stuck as a turtle in a shoebox. He probably needed water, aside from which, being stuck in a shoebox brought out Darren's utmost pity because of his own fear of the dark after his cousin locked him in a dark closet for almost three hours when he was ten.
