Marstren couldn't disapprove of Saika's intentions since he would do the same for another human, and even the supporting dragons. "I won't stop you. I will let you do what you feel is right." Marstren said watching the darkness in front of him. Such very little light filtered into the underdarks Marstren wondered how he could see at all.
Daquee rounded a corner and almost collided with another dragon. Daquee had to look over the metal dragon a few times before catching a flickering screen on its shoulder. The screen occasionally flashed a green number six on it. "Mecha, I never expected to see you in such poor condition." Daquee said observing the cracks, corrosion, and sparking parts on the sixth seat elite's body.
Mecha took a longer period of time than normal to process the information coming in. "But a minor set back. Chitin dragons are powerful fighters. No harm done though. The emperor had us doing some sparing is all." His voice was a mixture of the natural voice and a metallic buzz. He didn't wait for any other questions since he needed repaired. His CPU was damaged and he was running off his older back up. However he didn't want to rely on it since, if it failed, his biological brain couldn't operate the body it was in. The six legs moved in a rhythmic pattern despite the sparks coming off them in several places. Only the very front right limb wasn't made completely of metal components. Mecha came into the repair room and went straight to his repair bay. Several cables wound down from the ceiling and plugged into ports on Mecha's back. A small battalion of mechanical arms raised from the floor accompanied by some from the ceiling. The arms started stripping away the armor until they could pull off larger pieces. Quickly the arms separated five legs from Mecha's body before taking off the chest components and head components as well. The arms moved away suspending pristine parts just off the floor. Only one of the center legs was fine, the rest of Mecha had been removed and carried off by the robotic arms. The only thing left was Mecha's frame containing some life support systems. Though it was clear he wasn't all machine. One lung was suspended in the center of the frame protected by heated gel in a glass containment unit. Below it a heart was beating away in a smaller container of similar fashion. Tubing led from the heart to the lung and up Mecha's neck filled with red blood. There was his biological brain still sustained by biological means, though visible to the world nestled in a clear container. Some wires were implanted in it and ran out to parts in his frame. His right biological leg looked like it was just dead flesh, but was simply void of blood causing it to lose color. The only thing pumping through it was a nutrient solution to keep cells alive until a fully mechanical leg was decided upon. The first of his components to be replaced was his faltering CPU which let him begin to fully process his surroundings. The mechanical eyes, still attached to the metallic lower jaw, began rotating around the room zooming in and out as testing was done to find any flaws in them.
((Geez for a character that might not appear much more than once, that was long >o=o>))

Marstren with held a laugh at the thought. "You shouldn't worry about that. I don't think that will ever happen." Marstren didn't know that for certain, but was confident he was making the correct call. "I know I might not be on the grounds to ask, but I need to know something. What made you take up a life of wandering around for so long?" Curiosity of the already collected profile data was all that was driving his question. He had it ever since he read the files the Tamers had on Saika.
The robotic arms pulled off the left eye and replaced it with a new one. This allowed Mecha to use the zoom function and see the data again. Apparently some damage had occurred when his head was bashed off the floor. 'Running tests' Appeared in Mecha's field of vision as the eye ran through its motions. Everything in the room was labeled as it came into view, the specifications displayed, and the composition shown. Eventually Mecha came around to Kummar, and the label of 'unknown dragon' appeared with a line leading off of Kummar. The new processor started calculations and sent more data out. Several options appeared around the label giving Mecha the opportunity to see visible weak points, armor compositions, and various other combat related things. 'testing complete' appeared as the eye zoomed back to normal range from the more focused point it previously had.
Daquee had resisted the urge to go and check the combat room to see if the Chitin dragons were still there. Now he was resting as the medicinal herbs were applied to his injury. The room was filled with many plants and only tended to by the Nature dragons. No mechanical device was present and all the light was natural from the sun outside. During night time hours light was made from runes on the walls and ceiling. Over all the room was calm with just a few of the domestic birds calling about in the room. These were, of course, birds native to the planet, and, further, native to the denser jungles where the Nature dragons often lived.

Marstren left the placement up to the other higher ranking officers, typically, but he didn't think it would be best this time. "How about you come around to the other three cities with me. That way you can find where you fell most comfortable." That and Marstren could sleep in one of the transports. He figured Scorch could escort Saika for awhile since Scorch was currently napping.
Daquee stood up having Kummar finished with his repairs. "No, we have not as of yet. When we go in, just answer the questions you are asked. Other than that just follow what I do." Once Daquee finished, a light above the door came on indicating for them to enter. "Time to go." Daquees said standing in front of the door as it slid open. The other eight Elite guards were occupying their posts in the pillar above the emperor's throne. Only their silhouettes showed through the screen covering the hole in the pillar each one was assigned. Only Daquee's post was still uncovered since he wasn't in it. Daquee had to refrain from looking at the Chitin dragons gathered to the sides of the throne. The emperor was obviously unenthusiastic about listening to another report as he lay his jaw down on his throne, which was just a large, soft, circular mat. The four Chitins sat evenly on each side of the throne, locked in position, as representatives of their species. "Emperor Damel, We are here with a report of our task." Daquee stated as he placed his front leg forward and lowered his upper body and head towards the floor.
Damel stayed silent carefully watching the two soldiers before him. "Daquee, you are to return to your post during this report. I will hear your report later." Damel said raising his head off the mat. He watched Daquee obediently follow orders and fly to the position in the pillar above. Once the screen was covering the opening Damel turned his head back to Kummar. The various piercings in the frills on each side of Damel's head jingled slightly as they wobbled back and forth. Several hung on the front part of the skin between the spines running down the top of his neck. "At ease." Damel ordered in a bored sounding tone. "Now tell me. What exactly happened?" He said before returning his head to the mat.
((Buh ba ba baaah! There you go.))

Kummar bowed in respect along with Daquee. When he heard the order for Daquee to go to his post, only a slight click could be heard as Kummar tensed up. He wasn't always comfortable being the in the spotlight, and this was one of the worst times ever. "As you wish my lord." he said, sounding completely unaffected. "I had been sent on a mission to destroy a human outpost and bring any survivors back to the nearest camp. After a quick fight, I had the humans captured and ready to go. But I did not have the proper carrying equipment, so I called for someone to bring it. While waiting, a young fire dragon appeared and claimed that he was the one sent to bring the humans back, but he arrived without the equipment. I didn't think too much of it and had the humans climb on the fire dragon and hold on while we flew back. But then the fire dragon took off as a human called out to him and tried to distract me. I pursued the fire dragon and managed to force him back to the ground when Daquee showed up. He wanted to deal with the fire dragon and ordered me to take out the human rider. That would have been an easy task against any regular human, but this one was an escaped experiment that had all the powers of the dragons. After another quick fight, and having trapped him halfway in the ground, the human left with his fire dragon. The enemy dragon had used some sort of technique against Daquee that had left him bound until I freed myself and helped him back up. The technique was something strange. It looked like multiple fire-y tentacles. Daquee said it was called 'fire roses vine' or something and that only one other dragon could use the ability." Kummar said, summing up the main points of the story. "We did pursue them, however, and managed to take back the humans and delivered them to the camp. I am sorry to report that the human and his dragon escaped though." he added.

(( Well lets see. I was always going to control the emperor. Then I always intended to have the pair of Marstren and Scorch. We didn't have many people making characters that sided with the Empire, thus I made Daquee. Then I will periodically control the other eight elite guards. twisted Don't worry my brain can provenly handle the stress of controlling *thinks* nine characters simultaneously, but I probably could do more. I've only ever gone up to nine... so if you can handle more characters go ahead if you want. I don't mind.))
Despite the surprising details of Kummar's initial problems, Damel didn't pay close attention to the report. However he picked up on the two details that interested him the most. The human and the dragon that had caused the problems. "I see then." Damel started as he lifted his head of the mat. "You must have fought against subject 391-50822. The Black Heart Serpent that took so much time to create. Sounds like he is using the power we embedded in him. That is very good, with enough time he should end up killing the rest of the humans on his own." Damel stopped realizing the actual clearance level Kummar had. "Change of subject. Onto the dragon you encountered. That dragon is Estellion Rose. Only not the old one, this one is a few generations after the great general. He changed his name to Scorch Rose, as in Scorch the Rose family. He joined into the imperial to clear the family name. Unfortunately he too turned traitor to the empire. The technique you describe is The Fire rose's vine. Apparently it was passed down through the generations somehow, and it is still one of the techniques I can't perform." Damel had felt it unnecessary to needlessly explain anything else despite how much he knew. "Very well, the important part is that you succeeded in you initial task. Be prepared if you ever encounter those two again. The Black Heart Serpent, that human, does have the ability to copy all the species' abilities. I do apologize if you do not know what the Black Heart Serpents are, but I can assure you. He is still a human for now, and will die just like any of the others. Scorch will most likely have two other techniques at his disposal. You best be careful when confronting him. That will be all. Now, if there is anything I can explain further just ask. I will even forget your technical clearance level for now. I already have seemed to disregard it anyway." Damel felt it appropriate since Kummar had had such success recently. Besides Damel felt he had already said more than what was appropriate and probably created some questions in doing so.
Marstren was glad Saika was going to go with them. "Very well then. We have to wait for the transports to get pulled into the Underdarks. Much easier to defend against the creatures native to this place than a squad of dragons." Marstren stopped outside a ring of Dark dragons allied with the humans. The dragons were hard to see against the dark coloration in the Shadow plane, but Marstren could make out enough of them to know where to stop. "Can I ask you to help watch over the people outside the transport units? The creatures on this plane are usually attracted to large crowds of humans, and my soldiers can't take on large numbers of them. So can I ask for your help?" Marstren asked Saika.
