Felica decided to ask what was on her mind. "So what's next on our agenda today? Training for our mission to stop the Brotherhood? When are we going to New York? Will Cassie and I have time to shop before things start happening?"

a.k.a. Myth  Dean sighed. Questions, so many questions in the morning. He inhaled deeply and exhaled loudly. He hated the morning..... "Well I say we get some extra training done for you. We'd need to be in New York a couple of hours in advance to prepare. Covering the best angles and such. During that you and Cassandra can go shopping." Dean said a bit absent-minded. It was his major flaw. Mornings.... "I do have a few classes to teach. Those that wanted the extra attention anyway. You can attend to those if you'd like."

"Can I skip class and plan the best shopping route and what the current trends are during fashion week that would work for Felicia? Shopping is serious business." Cassie asked brightly. "Besides, I only have history and one more science credit required to graduate. And I bet I can test out of those two classes if the administration would let me."
She was hoping that Dean's lack of being awake in the mornings would let him give her a pass on classes for the day. Emma and Cyclopes had required Cassie to attend classes till she graduated. While she enjoyed school, generally, she also enjoyed shopping and planning shopping sprees. Because, Cassie had been on the run for almost a year she was behind in school and to make up classes she had tested out of some, but was told that she should take some to graduate so she had a "normal" school experience to enjoy. History and science had been her lowest test scores so that was the classes she end up having to take to graduate along with an English class she had finished a month ago.

a.k.a. Myth "Then ask them to test you now." Dean mumbled." Felicia doesn't need fashion like you do. It's what I think anyway." Dean cracked his neck and stretched. "Not sure if Felicia is a fully registered here yet. So she might not need classes...but you still do." He thanked whoever was up there that he was slightly more awake. If he had allowed this both Emma AND Scott would be on him. " Nice try though"

It just occurred to her that Myth had offered that she could attend class and not have to worry about what she looked like. That is being a mutant. For the first time she could be among other students like herself. "Myth.. I'd like to join you in your classes if that's okay." her tail wagged with excitement. Not only she'd be attending a dreamy teacher's classes but she couldn't wait to meet the other students too.

Cassie rolled her eyes and said slightly irritated, "Seriously, what is the use of being super smart and a good test taker if you aren't allowed to just test out of classes. I should have graduated by now. It isn't my fault that they don't really have correspondence courses for mutants on the run. Besides, when I was on the run for almost a year my high school diploma wasn't exactly on my priority list."
Sighing Cassie said, "Fine, classes, right." Pausing she brightened up and placed a arm around Felicia's shoulder and said, "Well, I can at least give Felicia a tour of all the cute boys- and girls- in class if you're interested." She added half joking to Felicia. "We can spend class flirting instead of listening to this old bore-" she stuck her tongue out at Dean, "lecture. There is this one boy who can control ice who is pretty cute-nice eye candy and fun to flirt with, but of course I'm not serious about him. You can have him if you want."

Felicia, blushed a little as Cassie spoke of the cute boys and girls in class. "Well sure I'd like to meet them... but it would be nice to attend a class... I haven't been to one before. At least not in this form. Most of my schooling was done at home or listening in on a class in my fox form." she shrugged a little. "I want to at least attend one class."

Cassie raised a brow and smiled slightly at Felicia's eagerness. Felicia was younger than Cassie, so Cassie supposed school (especially if you could never go before) would be an exciting prospect. "Hmm..." She said, "All of my schooling was done at school in a classroom. I loved it- still do usually, except for the fact I'm irritated by the fact I am behind in my studies some, but that is partially my fault. It was my brother who finished school at home. Then again he couldn't get along with his classmates."
Cassie laughed and joked, "I never had that problem. My problem was my classmates always liked me too much. And, unlike him I love everyone. Well, don't worry, if you have any trouble, I can tutor you in your classes, Felicia." She glanced at the clock on the wall and asked Dean, "Doesn't class start in thirty minutes or so?"

a.k.a. Myth Dean looked at the clock." Yep" He quickly finished eating and got up. Putting his plate in the dishwasher he got a bit of a grin. " Hmm I think I'l be a few minutes late. You see I told them if they could take me down I'd give them a 'skip extra class' free card. And I did happen to have overheard them planning a surprise attack on me today." Dean was almost beaming. " This should be good." Dean laughed." Felicia if you do want to attend tell me when alright?"

"Would that free card apply to me as well?" Cassie asked innocently batting her green eyes and mocked reaching for her glasses. She paused and turned around and laughed, "Nah, I'm not that stupid to try a straight forward attack like that with you. Besides, I just need to sneak up on you sometime and merely get you to look me in the eye and convince you that letting me skip class is a good idea. Of course Emma would kill me if I abused my powers like that. She'd make me tutor the freshmen guys in Spanish or something equally horrible."
"Well, I'm going to go get my school stuff and head to class, since someone won't let me skip today. Felicia," Cassie added, "if you want I can show you to class. Unless you would rather go with Mr. Nixon and see what stunts the other students try to pull to get that 'skip extra class' free card. It would be entertaining if I didn't already know how it would end, but you might enjoy being around for it..."

Felicia wanted to prepare more for the fight with Mr. Nixon. Yet if he was teaching a class, unless it's a martial arts class it wouldn't help much. On the other hand she really, REALLY wanted to join Cassie in an actual class and meet other students.
"Well it depends...Mr. Nixon, what class are you teaching next? In the likely case that your students fail on their attempt to take you down."

a.k.a. Myth "I'm a martial arts teacher only.So it's the only class that I give. I never was too great at anything else. Except for a few other things. Too bad gaming isn't a actual class. I'd rock." Dean joked. But it was true. His current position as a teacher didn't really put him at the top of the list of 'awesome teachers'. But like Cassandra there were plenty of people who had a form of respect for him.

Felicia felt she could do with more preparation for the trip to New York. Though she really wanted to meet the other students Cassie spoke of. "Cassandra I really would love to attend the class with you but I feel if I attend Mr. Nixon's class I'd be able to prepare more for the upcoming trip. I'd gladly do a rain check on your offer though, I'm excited to meet the other students you mentioned."

"Of course," Cassie said, "You're not used to traveling in big cities, are you? Well, I'm going to go change. Mr. Nixon's class in a skirt seems like a bad idea... I was hoping I could convince him to let me skip but no such luck." She muttered a few mild curses. "Well, I guess there isn't much else I can do about it."
She waved at the two as she left the kitchen and said, "See you two later."

As Cassie mentioned how going to Mr. Nixon's in a skirt was a bad idea. She remembered that she too was wearing a skirt. "Um.. Cassie wait up I need to change too. Excuse me Mr. Nixon I'll see you in class." She stood up and bowed followed Cassie.
