Ark and Nezumi

"Oh, okay, let's go over then," Ark said, heading to the table. When they both had sat down, Ark greeted his sisters and introduced them to Nezumi. "Nezumi, you already know Ellie. She's my older sister." Ellie waved. "And this is Rosalia. We're twins."
Rosalia also waved, and added a "Pleased to meet you!"

Nezumi smiled at them saying, "It's nice to meet you too." He sat down besibe Ark, sense he really didn't know either of the girl's well.

"So," said Rosalia, "Ellie told me you're staying at Nezumi's house, Ark? You need to stop messing around so much."
"Yeah," Ellie said, "You're always such a burden to people. You're probably a disgrace to nurses everywhere." She laughed.
Ark glared at Rosalia, but said nothing.

"I like having Ark-kun around the house," Nezumi smiled blushing ever so slightly, "And I won't call him a burden, he's super helpful. I'm not lonely anymore thanks to him. So please don't call him a burden, because he's not." He glanced over to Ark then back to the table.

Rosalia laughed. "Don't worry, we were joking. We love our little bro," she said.
"They talk like this a lot," said Ark. "They like to tease me because I'm younger. Even though Rosalia is barely older."
"Though," Ellie said, "It must be nice for him to know you like him so much, Nezumi."

Nezumi listened to them explain then blushed looking down at his hands. "I-im guess im just not use to hearing jokes," he said, "Sorry."

"Don't worry about it, Nezumi," Ark said, "You don't need to apologize. You can't be expected to know people's inside jokes, or how they behave around eachother."
"Yeah, don't feel bad!" Rosalia chimed in, as a waiter came by to take their orders.

Nezumi finished his food and coffee before the others, so he got another cup of coffee, oh how he loved his coffee.

Ark and his sisters had been talking throughout their dinner, trying to include Nezumi. They all finished after Nezumi; Ark's sisters had to leave, so they settled their part of the bill and left, giving warm goodbyes.
"So," Ark said to Nezumi, "Do you want to leave now? Or do you want dessert or something before I pay the bill?"

"I can bake us a cake at home. I have plenty of cake mix," Nezumi said smiling at Ark. His sister's were really nice, he liked them.

When they got home, Nezumi headed to the kitchen. "What kind of cake do you want?" he asked Ark.

Ark sat at the kitchen table. "I don't really care," he said, "Just make what you want." After a short puase he added, "So, did you like dinner?"
