The movie had started out a little dull, but certainly seemed to pick up once the main character emerged. And look, he'd even come to save the day in the end.



It was truly a heartwarming moment. The humans clearly appreciated him for what he was. Long live the hero of the story!

The OOC

[Eight]

There were moments where Sibyl laughed, but whenever she saw that damn T-Rex she couldn't not shake with fear. It was a bigger predator than her, one that could and would eat her in a single bite if given the chance, and every time its head came toward her with the 3D vision she quailed and leaned back in her chair away from it.

Thankfully Gabby had managed to win her attention with talk of food. "We could get dinner after this..?" Sibyl offered with a smile, looking from Gabby to Efflo and back again. She was hungry too but only because her hopes had been brought up with Swedish fish promises, crushed with lies, and then rekindled with the sight of so much food in this movie.

Olivia totally knew that the big T-Rex wanted to be their friend! Why couldn't those silly humans realize it? (she totally helped!)

And why couldn't the humans in the theater with them realize it either? It took her a while, for sure, to notice the obvious hints of FEAR dancing in the air but she didn't think any of that could that scary.

Efflo was definitely too busy to notice fear levels, or much of anything really, besides gnashing teeth and ripping claws. It wasn’t that the boil minded gruesome things, which would be counterproductive considering his own Halloween body was often pretty gruesome looking, but rather he was plagued by the idea of getting eaten. The survival rate for things with hooves in the movie was a big fat zero percent. That severed goat leg was going to haunt his dreams.

He was just thinking how many nightmares he was going to have when Gabby mentioned being hungry. Efflo stared. Then Sibyl joined in, suggesting dinner. He glanced quickly back and forth between them, looking increasingly panicky with each passing moment.

Horse wasn't on the menu, right?

Humm why did the T-Rex eat the other dinos? Oh well, it looked great on the screen.

Andrew shifted. where was all the fire? It wasn't in this movie, he had only seen a little as decoration on the gates. (Great choice in his opinion they just needed more.) Instead the movie just had rain water and ocean. Ugh.

"Why is there so much water?" he asked at the ending scene and held onto Olivia's hand.

He really did like the humans in the movie though. They were interesting.

Uru simply smiled at the fact the larger mini ate the smaller mini. It was only natural.

"They did say it was an island," Olivia supplied innocently with a smile to match. The credits were still seeming to roll and no one seemed to be getting up besides a few of the humans.

The ghoul tilted her head, pondering for a moment and allowing a few of the swedish fish and popcorn to fall from her locks of hair. "How about, you protect me from fire.. and I do with water?" She suggested, her voice going into uncertain tones near the end since she really had no idea how it could be pulled off especially back home and without these pins. Would be difficult, but maybe they could make it work.

(Molan wouldn't probably be much help to ask for assistance, given his animosity towards the flame demon. Not that she noticed all of it)

Akubi was winning.

Naturally he was having a great time. This movie was fantastic. Slow at the start but now it was heating up with all the misfortune and terror in the world and there were frightened humans AND students. Best day ever.

Luckily for Riyo and Poke the boil had settled for being quiet and watching the movie. He even finally opened the packet of gummi worms and ate one. So. Humans liked the taste of sand. Interesting. He quietly stuffed the bag of gummi worms into his little cup holder on the chair and ... proceeded to conveniently 'forget' it ever existed.

[Sexy Cocaine]

Riyo, unfortunately, was not as quiet.

The second she saw the dinosaurs go after the humans, she leaned forward in her seat, eyes glued to the screen. "Get 'em. C'mon you prehistoric assholes, kill them." She mumbled under her breath. During a few of the more gruesome scenes, she very clearly pumped her fist in victory. Oh, the feel of raw FEAR so close felt amazing, and she cursed under her breath every time the humans managed to outsmart what she now considered to be beautiful creatures.

The suspense, the horror, the satisfaction! Why had she never taken up to watching movies before? And the stupid glasses made her feel like she was right there. Mmmmm, yes. She liked this.

... Nahm was happy he'd come on this field trip. This was a great movie.

 

[Nothing Yet]

In the midst of all the roaring and crashing sounds, Shine had smushed herself as close to Nahm as the armrest between the two of them would allow, one hand pressed to her ear, the other held over one eye. It was a highly ineffective method of blocking out all of the things that might startle her, but it somehow, surprisingly, worked at least halfway.

Whether it was the ambient FEAR collecting in the theater or the beginnings of a better grasp on control (or something about the human word she missed hearing about entirely), she was relieved either way that she wasn't compelled to tear a human to bits.

That might have gotten her in trouble.

Poke's ear twitched at the sounds of delight coming from Riyo, who cheered every time the dumbest of the humans had gotten themselves munched on. Thankfully the lighting was so dark and the others too focused on the movie to see her fidget in her seat. Even as she looked to Akubi, he was enjoying it too. And when she looked back, she saw the resident dragons fist-bumping each other. With a frown she sat back in her seat and watched the human scarelings do their best not to get eaten.

The uncomfortable feeling in her gut lingered at everyones reaction. She bit her bottom lip. It was just a movie, it wasn't as if they expected this to happen in real life.

Leaning back in the chair, she tried to image the humans as some of the hunters she had met. Some of them, the others were cool (heres looking at you Wilson). The thought of Caelius being eaten by the dinosaur brought a smile to her face.

Though, really, nothing in the movie appeared very smart. Even the dinosaurs were dull witted (though this was the usual perception). Again, her attention was caught by Riyo fist bumping the air, and she smirked. It was kinda funny, actually...

Jericho found the movie to be rather enjoyable as well. Though, it made him really hungry. He also couldn't help glancing towards some of the humans, wondering how they tasted and whatnot.

But he wasn't allowed.
