He smiled and gave him an acknowledging nod when he looked back then stared at his rear when he turned around. Nah, it'd be best to lest the lawyer understand what was happening.

Smoothing down his thin shirt and buttoning his fitted jeans, Phoebe stepped back into the bedroom and stuffed his hands into his pockets. "What are you planning on doing, now that you're not cursed anymore?" he asked, fingering the keys in his pocket.

He looked over at Phoebe with those cold, calculating eyes of his then went back to his hand, which now held a mist of poison. "A Wendigo is already a strong creature. It's recklessly powerful and near impossible to kill. Now add a demon's agility and resourcefulness to that. You get a deadly combination, and an immortal body.
"My job is to make sure darkness engulfs this entire world. I was created by the darkness, itself. It was easy enough until I was ambushed by sniveling do-gooders.
"I was on the road to death, but I couldn't die. Not yet. That's when this brat came into the picture. He had incredible powers and potential, he was an ideal host. The only problem was that he was a damn baby, and I wasn't willing to wait through all those troublesome years to take control. So with my dying breath, I forced him to age into the man he is now - or I am now." he chuckled.
"I didn't count on the brat's step-father to notice my presence. He locked me away with the rest of the brat's powers, and I've been trapped for years. I waited and accumulated enough power for when the right person crossed, and that turned out to be you." His hazel eyes flickered back to Phoebe. "I did say that my life would be much better, didn't I?" he snickered.
