[RAID] A Legendary Heist

Tam' glanced from her pokémon as Zacharie appeared.
"Going well? You were quick! We still need to get a sample... and see if any of those balls work on this thing... Care to try?"

Zacharie looked down at the pokeballs Irina had given him before looking back up at Tambrey. "I...suppose so." He shrugged lightly as he plucked one from his belt. Welp...hopefully this would work to their benefit.
"Here goes nothing." He muttered as he pointed the pokeball at the Keldeo, praying that something more dangerous wouldn't pop out.

She shook her head and released Mia as well, pointing toward Civillians A and B. "Go help the pichu get the pokeballs, okay? Be quick and be safe!"

Though surprised at the scene around her, the sylveon did as her trainer commanded and rushed around the fountain, headed toward the two people Thor was after, releasing a disarming voice at both civilian A and B as she dove for the pokeballs on the man's leg.

Ranger A reeled and fell backwards with a cry from the blow, unable to defend herself.

Something did indeed pop out of Zacharie's pilfered pokeball, but it probably wasn't what one would describe as dangerous. He was greeted by the broad face of one very angry Jigglypuff which quickly retaliated with a Double Slap.

The Keldeo dodged out of the way of what it could but took the brunt of many the attacks as the Thunder Wave crackled through its body, though the aggression did little to make it any more compliant.

Kyle's hand would be sharply repelled by the barrier created by Protect as a large, cheshire grin appeared at Noel's side, followed shortly after as the responsible Cofagrigus faded into visibility, four hands posed threateningly and red eyes wide and gleaming.

Lily had been staying alert to their surroundings despite the Keldeo's anger, and his sudden movements - deflected though they were - incited an enraged and immediate response. In one fluid motion, she dropped into a defensive stance with practiced ease and lashed out to grab onto the blond man, using his momentum against him to propel him over them and towards the flowerbed not too far off.

Rangers B and C stumbled backwards at the sudden wall of flame wrapping around them, and seemed trapped inside. Two flashes appeared from within it, though, before two fire-types jumped free of the vortex their trainers were trapped in - a Growlithe and a Ponyta - both ready to defend against whatever pokemon had done that.

Thor would have no trouble swiping the single pokeball off of Civilian A; her only defense was to gasp and try to reach for it once she found herself relieved of it. "Wait, no, don't take that!"

Noel, meanwhile, took the time afforded to her by her Cofagrigus's interception to pull a device resembling a somewhat large car fob from her purse. A small light illuminated upon it as she pressed a button, and every pokemon in the area save for her ghost, Lily's Audino, and the Keldeo on the fountain were abruptly pulled back into their pokeballs.

She spoke in a calm tone that could nearly, if not eerily, be described as friendly, "Why don't we all settle down a bit?"

Riley froze in her place, her breath catching as the two pokeballs in her hands were suddenly full once more. "Wh-What...?"

Her grip tightened around each as her attention went to the woman.

Fwhip.
That was the sound.
Not the -real- sound, but the sound that Tam's memory decided accompanied the disappearance of her pokémon back to their balls, leaving... an angry Keldeo a lot less distance away than she'd have liked without pokémon between them.

And the... Galactic was talking.
Well. No. Tambrey was keeping her eyes on the legendary, dropping into a ready stance, though she doubted there was much to be done unless she could get a pokémon out again.
Hand-to-hoof combat was -not- something she wanted to try.

Zacharie gave a startled and pained yell as he fell back onto the ground, tears springing to his eyes from the brutal slapping his cheeks had received from the Jigglypuff that had emerged from the ball. Essex, who hadn't even had time to react gave a scandalized shout as he moved forward to show that pink fluff what was what, nobody hit his trainer and got away with it!

Only...he was suddenly back in his pokeball.

Zacharie glanced around the suddenly quiet area and noticed that...well...most of the pokemon were now in their pokeballs. "...What the hell?" He muttered as he rubbed his sore cheeks.

...At least the Jigglypuff was gone now.

What?

Aulus froze. "We have a situation," he hissed under his breath. "Galactic has some kind of device, returned all pokemon but their own."

Hands flexing he turned to face Noel, one hand hovering over his pokeballs. Did that thing have a limited number of uses? Could he get it off her before the Cofagrigus or the Audino got him?

Kyle, taken by surprise that his hand was deflect was pulled out of his momentum, mouth falling open slightly as he tried to figure out what in the heck just happened before the wide grin froze him in his tracks, jerking back away from the two women and the large ghost type as it took form before him. Though it wouldn't be too long before he felt his own arm bring grabbed, and in a second flat Kyle felt the hard pressure of hitting the ground, the flowers crushing below him.

"Ahh- DAMN IT." He growled trying to catch the breath that had been knocked out of him.

Another shock the balls on his belt suddenly activated, and three red beams shot out, drawing his pokemon back into their balls. What the HELL just happened! she pushed a god damn button and the pokemon vanish!?
The Grunt froze, jerking his eyes from his belt up to Noel and Lily
"... Alright then." He grunted cautiously, pushing himself up from the ground his shirt now stained with the dirt and colors of the flowers he had crushed, holding a hand out in a slightly calming gesture to the tiny girl that literally just tossed him into the flowers.

Lu had hoped Tea would get past the Rangers, but she was suddenly recalled before the opportunity arose. Blinking in confusion, Lu looked around him and found almost all the pokemon had been returned to their balls, and Zacharie was on his butt. "Oh, this isn't good..." he mumbled, looking over at the Galactic who'd spoken up but quickly moving to where Zacharie was, standing rather defensively in front of him.

Thor had almost made it back to Rory before he and the other two pokemon he'd released were suddenly returned back to their pokeballs. Looking around, he'd noticed all of the pokemon had disappeared except for the Keldeo.

What the hell?

He reached down to scoop up the pokeball that Thor had been bringing back to him before he turned his attention to Noel.

"Well that would explain why all of your pokemon just disappeared," Claire said with a frustrated sigh. "How big is it? Do you think any of you could take it from them?"

Xander took in all of the chaos and was about to send out his pokemon to help out where they were needed with the Galactic managed to recall all the pokemon. He sent a scowl her way then palmed Zack's pokeball, wondering if the device kept them inside as well or just sent them back.

"So you got a pokemon guardian angel... don't you. What is that a Cofagrigus?" Kyle said mostly to give a subtle reply to Clair

Kyle grunted and moved to get up the rest of the way, keeping his hands in sight. "You ladies have a lot of Unova pokemon for being from Sinnoh."

"About the size of a car key fob," Aulus replied in a murmur that would only be audible to those with earpieces. "I'll approach them, get their attention if I can, the rest of you see if you can get it off them when I move - while they're focused on me." This was probably going to hurt. "Unless anyone has any better ideas?"
