Bailey felt Luca's warm chest press against her back as he embraced her from behind, his lips careesing her her cheek for a moment before he let go of her. Once again, he was only wearing a pair of flannel pajama pants, but no shirt. On the night after their date, when they had come back into the room and he had changed into the pajamas, her nose had gone into a hemmoraged state upon seeing his upper body uncovered. Explaining the reason for this reaction was even more mortifying. The fact that she hemorraged from her nose whenever a good looking man was around her with no shirt on was embarrassing. Even on this third day in Vegas, when her aquamarine eyes travelled towards her fiance, who was once again shirtless, that familiar hemmorage burst through her nose.
She quickly covered it to make sure it didn't drip onto the expensive carpet. It seeped in between her fingers. If this kept going on, she would probably die of too much blood loss. Cursing silently, she located the tissue box and began to work on stopping the bleeding. One would think that her body wouldn't react in this way anymore. She was a grown woman, with a fiance. She should've been used to it. She dreaded to think of what would happen on their honeymoon or whenever they did decide to take their intimacy to a higher level. Thinking about it was not something she wanted to do right now.

It had only been two days so far since they had arrived in Las Vegas. Only two days since Erin had told Cecilia everything that had happened between the twins. And only two days since Cecilia had managed to get Erin to wear clothing that didn't conceal her tattoos. The day before, Erin had gone right back to covering up every inch of tattooed skin. But today after getting up after five hours of sleep (which was pretty much all the sleep she needed now), she had decided to try wearing something that showed her shoulders again. She had paced back and forth across her room, debating whether she wanted to walk around in public dressed in what she was wearing. It took her about ten minutes after she was fully dressed to actually convince herself to leave her room. The Artistic Owl made her best effort to stay away from the crowded casino and stayed by herself most of the morning as she ate her breakfast.

Kate had no idea why she agreed to let Che drag her down to the swimming pool early in the morning. Then again, he wouldn't stop whining about it unless she went along. Though Kate had the feel he just wanted to see her wearing a swimsuit with the proper wrap covering around her hips. Even though she came from Russia, it wasn't like she hadn't gone swimming before. There had been a pool at the institution she had stayed at. She hadn't really ever used it on her own time, but some of the staff had forced her to use it on occasion.
Right now, Kate was lounging on a chair near the pool and diving board. Che was attempting to show off his diving skill by jumping off the high board. She had told him she would watch him, just to satisfy his ego, but when he started climbing up the ladder, Kate leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes, trying to go back to sleep. However, she was unable to because she could hear Che shouting out her name to try to get her attention. She briefly opened one of her eyes to look, but promptly rolled her eyes and then closed them again. Why did men feel the need to show off so much?
The next thing she heard was Che's screaming. At which, Kate's eyes shot open and she sat up. "What in the world--!?" she said aloud, her accent apparent. She was interrupted in mid-sentence by a splash of water from Che's none too graceful landing on the surface of the water which soaked her body from the hips down. Some water did hit her hair but she didn't really mind that so much at the moment. When she next saw Che he was hanging off the edge of the pool, grinning sheepishly. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she replied to his question. "I did not need to see it. I seem to have experienced it firsthand due to ever so graceful landing." Of course, when she said that, her tone was dripping with sarcasm and mild annoyance. She wasn't angry, just annoyed.

((TFP---Serena))
The Vanishing Owl glanced over her shoulder at Will when he mentioned that she would be seeing Koji again in Japan. Would she really? Of course Will was usually right when it came to these matters and she could trust that he was right now. “I guess a note with suffice..” she muttered in response to Wills words. Still, she couldn’t help but think Kojiro deserved more than a note… “You say that he is going to return to Japan…When is that going to be, Kitten? And don’t try to play that question away with your clever words…” The white haired female wrapped her arms around Cerbs in a hug like gesture...Of course she was actually using him to lean against trying to get comfortable but failing.
“Cerberus staying here? Is that wise?” Serena wanted the three headed dog to remain with her. For company and pillow related reasons. “Besides, Kojiro is more of a cat person…He has a cat….and I think that Cerbs would only end up eating her if he was left here.” Serena rambled a bit in her attempt have Cerbs return with her. She released Cerberus from her hug and stood up. If she had continued sitting she would have simply fallen asleep so standing and writing the note now was probably the better thing to do. “Right. I will write that note now…” She didn’t spare the Satan Owl a glance as she left the room and scribble a note on a pad of paper for the Frozen Owl to find.
Why were goodbyes always so goddamn hard? As the ink flowered onto the paper with the gentle strokes of the pen, Serena couldn’t help but let grip the pen a lot harder than needed. She didn’t want to leave Kojiro behind…But she had known all along that this day would come. Still, she was not prepared for it. “Damn it all” The words ‘sorry’ and ‘We will meet again’ just didn’t sit well with the Vanishing Owl. How could she trust those words? She has said them again and again….so many times in life…they were nothing but lies designed to protect herself. To stop the tears that stung her eyes and threatened to pour forth. She ended the note quickly and bluntly, leaving her home phone number at the bottom…it would be up to Koji if he wanted to see her ever again…
Serena stepped back into her bedroom and grabbed a change of clothes, completely blanking the still shiny looking Will. “Just a quick wash before we leave.” She said as if she were talking to herself as she walked into the bathroom. And quick she was. Showered, scrubbed and in a set of clean clothes, Serena left the bathroom and was all set for leaving. Like a plaster, she wanted this to be over and done with as quickly as possible. She was being defiant and putting on her best tough girl act and there was no way in hell that she would lose it in front of Cerbs or Will. “I don’t care for the things here. They can be thrown away or whatever…Lets just go.”
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle strolled into the room which Ember was sitting in. He took note of the stack of books besides her and shook his head. “Bored already?” He muttered announcing his arrival. “Don’t you have any hobbies? Plans for the future?” He asked as he crossed the room and picked up one of the old leather bound books. “You have a new life, Ember. Perhaps you should make use of it and do the things a normal person does.” Smiling playfully Daryle winked “Mhm...perhaps you could settle down and raise a few kids…That is sure to keep you busy” He leaned on the back of Embers chair and placed the book he had been flipping through back down. “I am also happy to see that you have been drinking a lot less. Without your title drinking too much will damage your organs….” Yawning, Daryle stood up straight and handed Ember a bottle of alcohol free booze. It was a mere joke that was done out of good heartedness. “You know…you could always explore the world…Starting with Japan. Hey, how about I take you on a tour of the world when this war is over? Seeing it through the eyes of a breezy Owl won’t be dull or boring, I assure you.”
((NPC---Seb)
“I am sure I can show you how to prepare this tea before you leave” Sebastian muttered as he drained his cup in one hearty mouthful. Aeon began speaking again and Sebastian had to admit she was coming up with a few good reasons in her own little way. “Mhmm, you are right in what you are saying Aeon.” He nodded a few times and set his cup down onto the table with a small, hardly audible, thud. “Ah, letting your thoughts go in a conversation such as this is not a bad thing. If anything having someone to share in on your thoughts is a good way to help blow off some steam…” The butler smirked as he adjusted his long legs, switching them as he re-crossed them.
“Hmmm…nothing comes to mind when you ask me that question. How strange…” Chuckling as he leaned back in his seat, Sebastian shook his head and opened his mouth to speak again. “You have run me out of conversations.” The dark haired male ran a hand through his black hair as he studied the woman before him for a few moments. Sure he could strike up a conversation on dissecting humans but he was pretty sure she wouldn’t enjoy that. “Ah, how is little Aiden? He is the picture of health. Has he attempted crawling or walking yet?” Well, at least Sebastian had resisted the urge to ask Aeon what she knew about the human body…

The surprise in Cecilia's eyes was prominent. She was sure that Amara had more to say on the subject, but the relief showed in her expression when Amara didn't press it. The Herald could have kicked herself. Of course Amara and Roulin would be friendly with one another. They had been friends since they were children. Cecilia had just come into the picture only a little more than half a year ago. There were things she still didn't know about Roulin that Amara knew. But she would never ask Amara to tell her. If Roulin wanted these things revealed, he would do it himself. With this conversation just about finished, Cecilia poured a bit of sugar in her coffee and some cream before stirring it around and taking a small sip.
The now lighter brown liquid seered her tongue, burning it. But what did she do? She kept drinking. It was like a pizza. Even when the cheese burned the roof of your mouth, you kept eating. "And I love Roulin...with all my heart. It's just that I don't approve fo what he's doing. I know he wants to become more powerful in order to end the war and I can respect that, but it's his methods that I don't approve of, the fact that he's pushing everyone who is close to him, everyone who cares about him, away. I pray everyday that he will come to his senses. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want the old Roulin back, or at least some of the old Roulin." She bit into her muffin. "But I guess we really shouldn't be worrying right now. I'll talk to Roulin when the time presents itself and if I can get him to stay in a room with me for more than three minutes." She drained the rest of her coffee and finished off the rest of her muffin. "I want to hurry up and get to the mall before it gets too crowded. I know there are some pretty good sells going on over there."

Ember tilted her head back in the chair to look up at the blonde, face passive as she listened to his suggestions, "hmmm, appealing, i guess i shall have to take you up on that... not that i had any other plans" she smiled slightly and took the drink, taking a sip and sighing, tasted like beer without the affects... wouldn't a regular alcoholic go mad? He was right though, she was not abnormal anymore, but did she really want a normal life? he mentioned kids.. she remembered a kid, a little girl, but most of all she remembered a father of that little girl...
She sighed beginning to remember a life she had blocked from her mind a long time ago when she had started to drink. she really didn't want to remember, it had been heartbreaking to begin with loosing him before the child was even born, and it hurt her to think she had simply abandoned the little copper curled child to another family.
"i- tried the family thing Daryle, didn't work out" she replied feeling her throat go dry as she took another sip of the non alcoholic beer, and licked her lips when she remembered it wasn't a drink drink.

While Amara was paying for her own shoes, Cecilia perused the rows, taking down shoes and looking at them before putting them back up again. She found a pair of Brown leather heeled boots with buckles over the top and bottoms that she fell in love with. It had been so long since she had worn a pair of brown boots. Most of hers came in the form of black. A pair of gray ankle high boots caught her eye as well. Of course as tradition, she had to choose a pair of soft black boots that laced up.
Even though she never usually bought more than three pairs of shoes at a time, she felt that a pair of nice heels were in order. A very sensual pair of crimson heels caught her eye. These heels would look good in formal wear and in scant lingerie. She carried her purchases to the cashier and as the cashier was ringing everything up, Cecilia glanced at Amara. "We need some lingerie. Let's go by one of the shops next. I'll model those," she said. "Don't tell me you're a hooker as well," the cashier said as she told Cecilia the total. "No, sorry. I'm actually a stripper. In fact, I think I remember seeing your husband last night at the club. He came by after he and my friend here were finished. Let me tell you, he sure as hell enjoyed that lap dance I gave him." She paid the cashier and grabbed her bags and turned and walked out of the store leaving the young woman sputtering in a speechless manner.
