But jeez, they really need a refund system.
I know that it's not anyone's fault that Duane's brother... was killed... And that Duane is like, a wreck. But they should really have some kind of refund system in place. o__o;

I did. I really wanted them to make music and I added more to my donation in the final hours. That Kickstarter came down to the last hour.
It just sucks because I really appreciate what he's done and think he's kind of a cool guy but if you ever try to talk to him, he's just a total d**k about everything. Every single day he's bitching about some new thing wrong with the world that is just completely unbelievable.

I emailed Kickstarter about getting our money back. This thing funded back in December of 2012. I told them that there wer ea lot of people that were still waiting to hear anything on it and after a week, someone from Kickstarter linked me to the DNB site where there was a blog post forever ago about Duane's dead brother.

Yes, your brother died and I'm sure that is ******** awful. It's also been OVER a year and a half and you're sitting on, what, 35k? You have a responsibility to everyone that admires you to at least fulfill the requests you promised. It's hard to move on after someone dies but he is taking it really, really far. I'd be fine if I could just get my money back.

Apparently the money hasn't been touched, according to Brando because he can't touch it. But if you're just not going to do anything with it for two years, at least let us get it back. I'd REALLY love to have an extra hundred bucks.

Whenever they break up Duane is the mature one and Brando acts like a huge baby. And yeah, he blames the fans.

He's also a ******** misogynist and a ******** idiot about video games. He just always makes shitty comments about how people shouldn't get offended if he wants a woman that stays at home, cooks, cleans, is "nice" and keeps her appearances up, which is fine, I guess, but he makes SUCH a ******** huge deal about it and argues with people. That's what he thinks a woman should be, and the man should be the dominant one in the relationship.

Then he like hates Pokemon because they're "too cute" and misses when Zelda was "hardcore" like the artwork for the first two games. He tries to point out s**t like how in one of the early manuals it shows a floating city and how "rad" it is and when I point out that the latest console Zelda game STARTS IN A FLOATING CITY VERY SIMILAR TO THE ONE HE POSTED he just brushes it off because god forbid he ever be proven wrong.

He was also bitching about Super Smash Bros. and the characters they were announcing. He wanted Simon Belmont and all these other characters that "helped make Nintendo big" that were pretty irrelevant now.

He wanted Bubsy in Smash Bros. I'm dead ******** serious. He was not kidding. I checked. And rechecked. Bubsy.

SO I stopped following him.

I'm so worried about Duane. The man has just been destroyed.
Regardless though, since the money... isn't being fulfilled... We got ripped off. Majorly. It's the worst kickstarter campaign, probably in the world.

I just wanted to reply to it and be like "we deserve more after a year and a half than some blog post." The people on Kickstarter still don't know and a lot of people haven't seen it. It's just a terrible situation.
