I don't think it's asking too much to look for those things.
Once you find someone you like and that likes you, I think everything else will just follow with it.
Regardless, good luck finding your significant other when you feel ready to tackle a relationship. c:

Aww, thank you. That's sweet of you Brandy biggrin

What's up?! How is school going for you? Do you like your classes and teachers? What courses are you taking? I start tomorrow...I have to wake up at 7 a.m

Actually, (you'll probably hate me for this) i don't start school until September 7th sweatdrop
I'm not taking a math, so that's pretty cool.
I have to wake up at 6...sushers xD

Haha only a little. Last night was super chaotic...they didn't even upload the syllabuses until midnight. I didn't go to sleep until 5 a.m, had to wake up at 7 a.m. Was scared for the day to start, but I have a friend in my Research Methods class, so that made my day better, along with the fact that my adviser answered a couple questions. I also bought a piece of technology I needed at the book store, and I talked to my Intercultural Communications teacher to clarify something. All in all, a productive first day. Traffic was terrible, though Dx

Yeah...no math class for me either. Although I may utilize Stats in my Research Methods class (Stats 2, which I took over the summer, was a prerequisite for that course). Also, I have to make presentations in my intercultural communications class (NO), and I'm taking my first solely online class. It will be a different semester, for sure. xD

I'm glad it went well! Yah, friends do help out a lot! Traffic does suck >.<
Ew. Summer classes xD
Make sure to keep me updated biggrin

I have done and redone and reworked the hair cap for Ten so many times it is UNREAL.
And I still haven't managed to get it right.
User Image
Good news is that once I do FINALLY get it right, I'll be home free! All that will be left is a little sewing and embroidery and then making up his coat!
(Although the coat could be a challenge in itself, I have trouble getting gauge to turn out right since I crochet tighter than every other person in existence, apparently...)
The problem will be getting it right, I am so frustrated...

somehow I knew you were talking about Ten over text xD sweatdrop
Yay for being an amazing crocheter! emotion_yatta

I finally got a working fan in my room tonight along with an extremely bright light (or at least it's bright compared to my last one)! For the past 3 years I've been using a small fan that was obnoxiously loud, and I wasn't bothered by that when I went to sleep. But I was always hot since it was so small. But my dad put up an actual fan that's not at all loud (it'll be so awkward sleeping in silence for the next few days). And the light on it lights up my room more than the sun does during the day (I've got a kind of ledge thingy above my windows), and it's like... 10 times brighter than my light on my desk which I've been relying on for all that time to light up the entire room (even though the room is the smallest in the house the light barely lit it up).

I like being special. >w<
Around 5'2" or 5'3", I'm the same height as my mum, my beau's sister, and his sixteen-year-old cousin.
With my mum, we're the shortest people in our whole family.
My youngest aunt's older two are as tall as (I think he's in third) and taller than (this one should be in fifth) me now. cat_gonk
So, provided your profile is still correct in saying you're 5', I've only got a couple inches on you at best. ^^;

Hehe, he's the only thing I'm working on right now.
I don't know if I'd say amazing, but it makes me happy that you think so. cat_whee
I could move my crochet hook up a size or two to make my stitches 'looser' in a way of speaking.
I'll still crochet as tightly as normal, but the larger circumference of the hook allows the stitches to be bigger than I would make with a smaller size.
I had to do that when I crocheted ponies to get the sizing right.
They were slightly derpy and gangly when I used the suggested hook size. -w-;
I can't change hook size for this, though, because the size is right to fit on the head, just it came down too far (so I nixed a round), the sides didn't go to the right place (I shortened the rows by two), and my last trouble is trying to get the two sides to come to the same length; I'm hoping if I stop the last row a few stitches short and do a slip stitch to hide the stop it'll turn out right. I'll find out soon enough, I suppose.

Whatever you do, I will be very happy and I will bring Ten with me to school and OMG HE CAN COME WITH ME TO MY SCYFY FANTASY CLASS! biggrin
Yikes, I don't know how anyone can crochet and I give people credit who can; my mum tried it and failed. It is a serious skill.
xD I love that term: derpy <3
I really hope it doesn't give you too much trouble!
Soon as I start my job, I'm going to buy the crayons and canvas for your melted crayon art ;D

You're so sweet, you always make me feel better!
Oh gosh, I am imagining that, and it is so epic, I squeal to think that I will have made him!
You've said your mummy knits, right? I've come to find that usually people are good at either knitting or crocheting, hardly ever both.
I'm a rare bird in that I am actually adequate at both, perhaps through sheer force of will. Though I don't do either in a technically normal/correct way.
I hold my hook and yarn oddly for crocheting, and in knitting I actually do it backwards when compared to most Americans. If I were European, it would almost be normal, since my technique is closest to continental/British style knitting. ^^;
I could try to teach you if you wanted, though I can't say I'd be a great teacher.
Derpy is one of my favorite words, one of few internet/meme-spawned phrases I honestly like. I use it a lot because sometimes it's just the only word that can really describe something. cat_xd
Considering this is the only spot of trouble thus far, and I was expecting this portion to give me a hard time, I think I'm doing pretty good! I just got so frustrated I wasn't able to look at it for a whole day, but I'll get back to it soon.
And no rush, feel free to take all the time you need, I've got all the time in the world to wait, trust me, haha~

I really enjoy making people feel better (I'm a Hufflepuff, baby ;D )
No, seriously, you don't understand: my mum bought me a TARDIS backpack and I have Ten's outfit in a dress form (I NEVER wear dresses) and I so can't wait for little Ten <3
Yah, she tried really hard to crochet, but it didn't work for her. She needs to keep knitting; she was good at it but she's stopped for a while. She should start up in the winter to keep her hands from cramping.
Lol, my mum tried to teach me. I'm just not too into it; I think that's why I don't find it too interesting. Sorry, real sorry sweatdrop
Ug, I can stand very few memes. Derpy is, luckily, one of them.
Sometimes, especially with my writing, I feel I need to take a break fro stuff for a bit.

I don't know my house; send me the link and I'll take the quiz to find out! EDIT: Never mind, I think I found it, the one at Pottermore, right? I can't take it without making an account and I'm certainly not making an account for something I'll never use again. So, guess you'll have to make an educated guess about what house I'd be unless you know a different one I can take without having to sign up!
That's so cool! I really hope he lives up to your expectations.
I prefer to crochet because it's easier for me to stop and start frequently.
I tend to avoid crafting in the winter because my hands hurt really bad...
It's fine~ If it's not your cup of tea, it's just not your cup of tea, I'll just do all the crocheted things you desire. ;D
I AM NOT ALONE DEAR GODS THAT IS AMAZING I THOUGHT I COULDN'T LOVE YOU ANY MORE BUT I DOOOOO.
I'm the same way. If I keep staring at/trying to work on something that is frustrating me, I'm very likely to destroy it, so taking a break from it is the only thing I can really do.

Traffic sucks majorly, and it's unpredictable.
Example: Monday: 0 people honked at me.
Wednesday: 2-4 (What the heck?!)
Friday: 0 people honked

For stupid reasons, they honk. xD. Pro-tip: When you finally drive, don't let the annoying honkers get to you.

Aww, I will. Yeah...it's been an okay week. It really could have been worse. I've gotten reading done and am practically where I want to be completion wise (for now). I have a friend in my class. And my teachers seem okay.

Look up "Harry Potter House Quiz" and take a few. I see you as Hufflepuff, but you could easily be Ravenclaw or Slytherin.
