Skaeryll [Kegan] Lucina is not given a big character box on the website, like the rest of the newcomers are. I wonder if this means she's just an alt Marth outfit. Also her face looks weird in smash bros style. It might just be because she came in the update with robin and they share a piece of intro artwork. They could'a zoomed into different spots of the picture for each of them, though. She got a small box because her and Robin are in the same artwork and reveal trailer and they were both on Robin's. She's a legit character. Everyone's in such a hurry that they don't read the second half of what I wrote which explains that I know that they were in the same artwork.

I think what we should all be doing is speculating how exactly Robin's attacks will work.
It looks like his fire attacks are a neutral special, and his electric attacks are forward special. wind seems like a down aerial, and if I had to guess nosferatu is a down special.
But how do you control the intensity? Like... for anyone uninitiated with fire emblem, spells come in like 4 intensities. Normal, el-, arc- and then there are actually several higher level tomes with seperate names, but in awakening the most common ones (like, that you could buy) were thoron, bolganone and... Uhhhh... I can't remember the wind one!
Non elemental magic has a different naming scheme.
So like... my first idea was that you can swap the moves like you can swap other character's special attacks, with higher intensities trading off for either range or number of uses on the tome, but then I think at some points in the trailer robin uses different intensities of the same element in one cut. Didn't he?
I guess I need to watch it again.
Edit: Nope the ct every time he uses a different spell. I thought they showed female robin use thoron after arc thunder but they cut to another location there too.
So I guess that's that. I wonder what the default set up is going to be.
Aww man. I wonder if they are going to release separate figures for male and female robin...? Lemme paint dat hair reeeeed

Lemme paint dat hair reeeeed Thunder magic is gonna be neutral special, fire is side special, wind is totally up special s/he gets lifts when he uses it, and the dark magic is down special.

I thought about up special too, but it attacks down. The lift you get on that might be closer to the lift ivysaur gets when it uses stun spores downwards in midair, or when mario uses his cape. It seemed more like that to me, anyway, because he does it multiple times in a row.

Also, if it's tied to a smash, and you can't change it, that would explain why they only name one wind spell.
At one point he does a wind spell (Not name dropped) and he's just standing still. Maybe it's his down smash? Neutral?
Edit: Yeah it looks more like a neutral, like a consecutive jab attack (Fox, captain falcon, original smash bros link!), because it launches after it hits a few times and then he finishes it.
So if I am looking at this right and air element spells are done with certain smashes and aerials, would that mean that he has unlimited uses of them?

sent this string of posts to the smash bros thread, because... I guess that is where I should have made them in the first place?

Lucina is the new Roy - the power isn't concentrated to the tip of her sword, but is rather evenly spread out.

Thanks IGN, but I believe that is actually how Link's sword works. I remember hearing that Roy did more damage near the hilt, which was actually a problem for his effective reach. Edit: Of course, even the wiki seems confused about this, because in one article it describes it both ways. The world may never know. I guess the point you were making is that Roy had a sweet spot, which is valid. edit to the edit: And upon doing research, all I could find about Link's supposed sweet spot, which was to me second hand knowledge anyway, was that his down tilt spikes if you land it with the middle of the sword. Gosh, I bet this reads as very grumpy.

Oh ******** no, during the online final exam for Smart Serve training, I have to:
-be on webcam -communicate with a proctor via live chat -allow them access to my computer
Uncomfortableeee. Social anxietyyyy.
(Smart Serve is like an online training thing that teaches you about safely serving alcohol in Ontario. I had to pay for it. It's for my job. I'm not even going to be a bartender or waitress, just a cashier. =w=)

WylrPnufh Guys what the ******** happened to the economy here? I just sold something for 9 billion gold. Its because of the Gold grab bags that Gaia been selling. They pump so much gold into those things that everyone in the marketplace has to raise the cost just to even it out. I mean I just got back from walking saw a ad for the "Super Gold Grab Bag 155 Billion coins" on My Gaia page, refeash the page and now there a ad for "Rainbow Gold Grab Bag win up to 160 billion coins".
