Ike's been the main character of 2 games. Roy was included in melee because his game was the most recent when melee came out. Ike probably got into brawl for the same reason, but he is still more significant because he's not a clone, and his games were some of the first to really see popularity and release outside of the US.

If I had it my way, Sm4sh would have:

-Robin just as they are now
-Chrom instead of Marth (plays exactly the same)
-Lucina except she also has an alt. costume where she's disguised as Prince Marth
-Roy with FE:A design, who plays more like Ike now

RIP my hopes and dreams. At least there's Robin.

I know Marth and Ike make the most sense. =w= I just don't find them as cool as the possible alternatives.

I'd be more sad to see Ike go than Marth at this point. I don't really like playing as Marth much. It might be because he's more popular and I'm a rebel to the core ;P

I'm more ticked off that they have never updated the mii make's hair color choices. I have had to deal with this reddish brown s**t for too long.
