Jarogue Well, just got Mighty Gunvolt for free because I backed Mighty No. 9. I just got that email too! That's so awesome, now I don't have to buy a game I'm unsure about just to get it. XD

So like... if Olimar has an Alph alt. and his name actually changes along with it, does that mean that Dr. Mario and Pittoo might NOT actually have their own slots?

The confirmed leak included shots of a roster with both of them on it.
Unless the leaker's intention was to use valid info to ultimately mislead us, the roster most likely suggests that they do in fact, have their own slots.

I'm still pretty excited about 8 new tracks in november. Atleast one of them being Zelda themed is also really NEAT in my book.
I don't think I'll lose interest when smash bros comes out. One's a racing game with shenanigans. The other's a party game with fighting aesthetics. I have room in my heart for 2.
My wallet might be another question. DLC is much cheaper, and I don't have consistent access to game-compatible wi-fi.

Meta_Fish Well and then I beat it with all three characters. There's not much to it so I'm glad it was free. You should get Azure Striker Gunvolt. Just tried it today, it really does feel like a better designed Megaman Zero with a combo system and homing shield attack. Even the dash is better in this game.

Gameplay footage seen today shows that they are in fact their own individual characters. Although, I think you may know this by now.
