One more day till Smash 3DS is made irrelevant

The way I think it's gonna go for me, is that I'll be using Smash 3DS for most of my solo playtime in the long run (at least until I complete it). Smash U will be mostly for playing with friends. Idk if I'll bother trying to 100% it... Got too much else to do then complete another game that's so similar.

Of course, I also used to think Lucina shoulda just been a skin, so we'll see.

My mom told me the other day that my brother likes to play Sonic on his iPad, and asked whether there were any good Sonic games for Wii... I don't really think there are, tbh. I just want to like... make him play SA2:B. YOU THINK SANIC IS FUN NOW? I feel pretty confident that even today's children would like that game since my cousin was really into SA2 like, last year. And he was 12.

*sigh* They really need to go back to the Adventure formula. Different (good or mostly good) characters and play styles. Not just Sonic. BUT NOT SONIC BOOM. That's not canon. Real Sanic. And Chao, but EVEN BETTER. And actually put enough effort into it instead of just capturing their own fart gas and then putting it on a disc. And not have bestiality. And have a rock soundtrack by Jun Senoue again instead of the cheesy, unmemorable stuff they generally have now. And forget those damn color powers. Yeah, that'd be rad. They could even keep the new boost button and red rings and stuff that they like so much now and it'd still be great, so long as it did other stuff like in the old days.

But anyway. I guess my brother can just play Lost World if my mom ends up being persuaded. That's at least not horrible, and some of the music is even good. And she probably will be, since I had a TON of arguments in favor of a Wii U.

The colors feel SO right.

Yeah, honestly you probably should have just told your mom to get him Colors.

I have played Colors, and while it looks beautiful, the gameplay was bleh... average. I wasn't really having fun anymore towards the end.

SA2 is an old-a** game, and it probably does have camera issues, but it's still more enjoyable than Colors. Better gameplay. Better music. Better story. Better everything. Chao! More to do. Good multiplayer stuff, even. You can't really compare all that to like, linear boring game where you play stages and bosses as Sonic and that's it.

Better everything except cutscenes and graphics, but that's to be expected. Also the new Sonic is really cheesy but like in a poopy way, because the jokes don't tend to be funny or anything. It used to be hilariously bad. "I'M THE COOLEST"! I don't really want my Sonic games to be super comical, anyway, but they try and make it seem like a kid's cartoon.

If they made a true SA3 today, I should hope it wouldn't have a terrible camera anymore. It's almost 2015!

But yeah......... I am doubting Sonic Team can go back to how good they used to be without Yuji Naka. Not really getting my hopes up.

Also, Generations?? Better than Colors.

I have NO idea how I enjoyed it on this PC, though. And without a controller, no less. Runs horribly!

I like the 3DS version too.

The Colors stages and the final bosses are the worst parts in both of those games.
