First time I turned Hyrule Warriors on today, I got an in-game medal.
And in-game medal for being murdered by chickens.
So, there's that...

UG sorry I never got back. I'm terrible.
I thought emulators specifically weren't on the app store....
Uhhhh I've tried to check. Mac made it super hard to understand stuff now and I've gotta give it to my dad to figure out.
OH MAYBE I'LL FIND ONE ONLINE! THAT'S GREAT!!!

Darkness Dragons Revenge ... kay, one: I've heard of that game, what is it?
two: how the hell do you get murdered by chickens? It's a cross between Dynasty Warriors and Legend of Zelda.
(I mean the cross literally, the Zelda team and Dynasty Warriors team worked together to develop the game.)
But basically you run around a map destroying hundreds of enemies and trying to maintain strongholds until a boss appears or you finish all the missions.
And the chickens are INSANELY overpowered.
Like, if you manage to get the little buggers on your side, you will DESTROY, and more spawn for every enemy you kill when they're allied with you.
But if they're against you, you have no hope.
They spawn like mad, are crazy fast, and have stupid powerful attacks.
When you have a veritable legion of them chasing you, you probably won't last five seconds if they catch up.

I know they're on the Google Play Store, though a lot of them want you to shell out money for something they probably didn't develop and stole from the web in the first place.
I don't have an iPhone, so I'm sorry to say I'd have to defer to my bestie for anything you needed help with for iOS. ^^;
This is the GBA emulator my beau and I use on our Windows machines, it should be available for Mac via this source, as well. (It plays Gameboy and Gameboy Color ROMs, too.)
I could tell you where I get all my ROMs and stuff, if you want? owo
Oh, and I'll suggest now, since I know you use a laptop, don't go trying to run any emulators newer than the GBA. They take more resources than you might like to think and most machines don't have the GPU or RAM to handle emulators beyond the time of the GBA, even my beau's computer, which is INSANELY powerful and has a current-gen GPU, has trouble properly running GameCube emulations.

Playing the weapon quiz on the adventure map.
"Defeat the axe wielder!"
A Stalmaster and a Darknut.
Both use the same weapon as far as I can tell, which means neither wields a goddamn axe.
What the ********.

I could actually play Hyrule Warriors with you, though!
All the game modes can be played with a second player~
