So, let me get this straight on the Christmas event grants.
Specifically, the snowflake charms or whatever they're called, the special ones.
I can either put myself through hell by visiting the forums to get them, or play switchem?
BUT WAIT, NO, THAT'S NOT QUITE RIGHT.
If I decide switchem is the way to go, my choices are Event items OR charms.
OR.
SO I CAN'T GET CHARMS IF I WANT WEARS, WHAT?!!
This is so rigged, I really wanted some of the GoFusion stuff that needs the charms, BUT I CAN'T GET THEM 'CAUSE I WANT WEARS AND I FECKING HATE THE FORUMS.
This sucks, the winter stuff and events are always my favorite, but I don't even get to enjoy them this year...
But at least paws get more than two items this event... |

Spazzy dear, if you want, you can also get the Christmas items from caroling at the shops instead of just switch 'em, both for human and paws. I still can't seem to get myself to join the forum battle just for the snowflake charms. I at least want one snowflake charm along with whatever free items I get from caroling at the shops. Doggone it, this is so not fair! There goes any new GoFusion stuff I might make down the road. Not to mention I need some heart charms for a couple things I wish I could make. This stinks. sad |

The switchem stuff is what I really want, it's in my favorite color.
I think the caroling stuff is red instead of blue from what I've seen?
I keep forgetting to go caroling between doing stuff on another site, so I've only managed to get two of the, ah, whatsit, eight boxes?
I've a while to get them, though, so that's a plus!
I don't like the main forums so I haven't been able to convince myself I should participate yet despite desperately wanting the backdrops for my animal base. Pretty sure I've more than enough of the other charms, but the snowflakes are gonna be a problem...
I've not yet opened the boxes that give out the snowflakes, so I might give up a couple wears if I feel desperate enough.
It really is unfair, though, I'm so frustrated, I hope they come up with another way to get the snowflakes so I don't feel so backed into a corner not wanting to do a forum war thing... |

Queen Spazzy Psst, thought you might wanna know, since we both seem on the fence about the whole Fafnir fight thing.
You don't have to post to attack him, you just have to find a current link to bring up the mini game.
There's also a rumor floating around that you don't even have to attack him to claim a charm when he dies, just find a grant link that isn't over fifteen minutes old.
I'm going to see if I can get in on the charms!
It's also been officially stated that there are snowflake charms in DC, so here's hoping!
You might find this thread helpful, it's the one I'm looking at for all my info.
I keep editing this, I'm so sorry, you're gonna have half a dozen pings from one post 'cause I can't leave well enough alone...

I tried the charm links, but I keep running into the stinking error message that they don't work! -_-* Doggone it, I guess I'll have to wait for the ones that pop up in Daily Chance carts, if they ever give me any. Too many basic items and junk is what I keep getting out of them! Grr! |

I only do vigorous stalking when there's event items I want.
Mostly I just do roll-throughs of my wishlist at random.
I'm not sure if we can get packages at the apartment.
And even if we can, I'm terrified someone might steal it.
It's safer to just have it shipped to my mum's house still.
Then the worst I have to worry about is her asking me what's in it, haha~
I also have no sodding clue what the address is. |
