Time passed among the house of light without event, Sakura managed to settle down as the house steadily began to reach a level of clean that she was much more comfortable with. the battle with dust mites and bunnies was ever present with each passing day, but Sakura's hard work and dedication cleared most of the reoccurring buggers away.
L was no longer anywhere to be seen or heard of, as if he had dropped off the edge of the earth after his apprentice had taken his title, Sakura had not heard from him again and although this was his home she did not expect him to come back. With him and the mole gone things were quiet, if not some what lonely.
Currently relaxing in a lounge chair on the waters edge of the beach, Sakura was relaxing with one of the many books in her hand that made up the late heralds collection. one she had not picked up yet in the last few months of organizing, filing and deep cleaning.
-----------------------------
Ember had made a bee line for the bars as soon as the taxi had dropped the two of them off in Vegas, Daryle seemed to be in bad shape, keeping to himself rather than his bouncy usual breezy train of thought. Ember was not overly concerned though, he seemed like the kind of person to bounce back, un like her. Currently sitting at the bar and staring at the glass she had asked for. After living within the Alcohol restricted house for the last month maybe, Ember now had little to no desire to drink again.
She blamed the time at will's house for her lack of need, but in essence, she really knew deep down she could no longer hide herself in the bottle at the risk of becoming disabled withing the few years she now would need to watch for...
The thought of deteriorating made her shutter, she had never really given thought on how she might die. She seemed like the kind of person to die in a blaze of destruction, or even within a moments notice, Rotting away did not appeal to her. Extremes, Life on the edge sounded like it would be appropriate, perhaps she would look into learning how to swim after she saw daryle to his abilities.

Jeannie then began to move from where she was at and towards Lucien's room. Underneath her clothing she had some sexy undergarments that she knew she would be able to use for Lucien. She soon made her way to Lucien's door as she knocked on the door and walked in as she saw Lucien.
"Hey Lucien..." she said to him. She looked at the pictures as she smiled. "Those are very beautiful Lucien..." she said. Her empathetic abilities were kicking in as she began to rely on those more than her telepathy. Synching her emotions with Lucien. "I know how it feels to seem...distant. I've just been very concerned about you, I mean it seems like you have a lot on your plate. Are you having second doubts about your original plan? I'm all ears and I promise I won't judge you...I know what it means to make a tough decision...I honestly do" she said looking away, thinking about some of the decisions she had to make in her life to get where she needed to get in life thus far.
"Oh I can't believe this will be the first night me and Lucien will share together in a long time" Amara said to herself. She sprayed herself with perfume and continued to "doll" herself up. Amara decided to be a woman and try and support Lucien...after all their family may have not been perfect, it was a family none the less and she needed to make a family structure for Aiden. Amara took out the curlers in her hair and put on some pink mascara on, even though she felt that pink wasn't a very good looking color on her, but it did match what she was wearing, a teal baby doll modeled lingerie that she had bought earlier.
Over the lingerie she had on a tan trench coat and some black 6 inch heels. A knock on Amara's door was heard as the blonde psion made her way towards it opening it. She had ordered some champagne earlier and now here it was on the ice, as she tipped him handsomely and closed her door. She was such in a good mood and she couldn't really understand why. Perhaps she had hope, perhaps the talk with Roulin really did help...maybe the talk with Cecilia help herself wake herself up in the attempts of helping Cecilia as well...whatever it was...Amara felt good...and she just knew that her and Lucien would be alright as a couple.
The garden salads arrived first, and the rolls did as well. Mrs. Chambers grabbed her salad fork and began to cut into her salad. The middle-aged woman looked at Moli with a warm smile. "I'm sorry for my husband's rashness, we're just so concerned about our daughter and when she told us that she met someone, well...you can see where we are coming from can't you dear?" she asked. "Of course he does Janet. Aeon stop trying to save the boy and let him be a man. Molly if you let this continue you'll be wearing the dress in the relationship instead of the pants" he barked. The red wine had now made it to the table as the Colonel took a large swig of his. "Aughhhh this is the good stuff" he said savoring the taste and sniffing the wine afterwards.
"So Molly, what have you and my daughter been up to for the last couple of years and what was the reason she didn't finish school? And what is it that you do professionally anyways?" he asked him in a formal tone. The Colonel began to eat once more. "It's just we want to make sure that Aeon isn't out here doing anything illegal or dangersous" Janet chimed in.
Aeon began to drink her wine and eat her salad. She could honestly just die at this moment. She knew the night would probably get worse than better when the time of the night was for her to "out" herself as an OWL. The projector only halfway made eye contact with any other person at the table. To her parents she was still the little girl they had raised...to Moli...well...she must've looked like a coward right now.

"Barely a drop, hmm?" the Satan Owl let out a cloud of smoke from his mouth in a lazy manner much like how Gaeta did when the Light Herald smoked. "She's finally thinking about how much of a hag she is now. That's all. No need to worry about her." The devil's grey eyes twinkled as they locked with Daryle's sea green ones. The blonde smirked to Daryle's smirk. "You will learn, Saxton. And yes, Daryle, you can keep making use of her." He chuckled again. "Then, I suggest you waltz right over there if you want to spend a last time with them. You have that loser tone in your voice, Daryle. I won't stand for it." Will laughed when Daryle joked about being like Will in another 1000 years. "Like me, Daryle? No, Saxton. Forget what someone said only moments ago? You've been living in the breezy clouds for far too long, lapdog. Time to get you head screwed on before it becomes filled with useless crap."

((UNS---Daryle Saxton))
“No need to worry about her? Sorry William, but Ember was the one who gave me this new life. I also need her to show me how to control these new powers” Daryle muttered as he poured himself a glass of water. The blonde male reclaimed his seat on the sofa and crossed his legs. He downed the water in one hearty gulp and placed the glass down onto the table “Of course I will learn, what other choices do I have? It’s not like I plan to laze around like the others currently are. In fact, can you arrange for me to enter one of those nightly tournaments?” The Satan Owl would know what tournaments Daryle was talking about, the ones that took place underground. “I don’t want to get rusty” That or the breezy man simply wanted to beat the crap out of someone or something.
“I will see them and take them back home when everything has calmed down in the world.” Daryle muttered when Will suggested that he best head back and spend a ‘last’ time with them. “And like I said before, I won’t be giving up on Erin yet. She is my wife and the mother of my children. A loser wouldn’t be saying that now would he? Although, those words may simply be false hope…hmm perhaps that’s what it is.” He laughed loudly before smirking “You won’t stand for it? Oh my, I better back my ideas up before I make you angry….” Daryle sighed somewhat and nodded his head “I hear you…If anyone knows about useless crap it would be you, right?” A dangerous remark that could be interpreted in more than one way, not that Daryle was in such a caring mood to really give a crap. “Heh, it feels like my old lifestyle will be coming back soon. Well, a part of it will be with a few changes. Hmmm….It should be rather interesting..”

The newbie Fire Herald was on good terms with the Satan Owl, and it was only for this reason that Daryle Saxton remained standing. It was typical for the true Daryle although he was overstepping himself a little bit here. After a few moments or so, the devil tosses the cigarette into the trash, not bothering to check if the cigarette was extinguished so it wouldn't start a fire. "Ah, so good to hear you're interested in the tournaments. I knew you were getting lazier and not finding anyone that could offer you any sort of challenge. I will have that arranged immediately." The Satan Owl smirked. "Ah, and we are in luck, there is even a familiar face you can sock tonight..." He was referring to a participant that resembled someone Daryle did not like, or maybe it was actually the person....
Will simply nodded and smirked at the other comments Daryle made. The blonde Breezy was reflecting on reality. "Old life? It never left you, Saxton. It has a way of catching up to you...." He smirked. "Now, don't waste that breath on useless crap. Take a shower. You smell like crap. " Mhmm....Will sure knew how to give people loads of crap. One of those loads was a student named Che. Of course, Che gave Will loads of crap too.
Meanwhile, Ember's drink had been spiked with some alcohol as arranged by a certain blonde someone... In Will's penthouse, a little spider dropped in Serena's hair.

Che's swashed that dark brown froth that sat atop his cup french vanilla flavored coffee. To his right was the window to the french restaurant he'd decided to frequent while he was in Las Vegas. The restaurant itself was a french one and as such, it had a title the Italian wasn't going to attempt to pronounce. Almost mandatory to it's heritage, what proceeded the maybe five syllable expression was the word 'Le'. It's name was as luckluster and unimpressive as their uninspired meals. Or maybe it was the dark haired man being a hardass because the place didn't serve much Italian food. If they did, it tasted watery...crappy. Much like the crappy crap Will gives him day in and day out.
From this restaurant, he'd eaten lunch previously and the not-half-bad coffee was just something to chase it down. His reflection, which was all but broken, bubbling and swirling in the sweet dark liquid, looked rather contemplative. For Che, this was odd. The sternness in his gaze was enough to make the creases in a pair of casually tossed around jeans flatten as if they were just freshly ironed. His usual grin was missing as well. That was replaced by a line as flat as the lemon-lime soda he'd made the mistake of ordering maybe thirty minutes ago. In thought, the corner of lips pulled back. His expression now was more of a questioning one. Slightly confused even. "Do I look this angry because the food and drinks were garbage? Or is it because I know I have a bunch of kids to protect?" asked the elder Owl silently to himself. "Yeah, this food was crap....and I'll be back here tomorrow same time, same place. Damn it Dante, hurry up...I'd rather not sit her longer than I have to now...."

"I'd say it's the food. The kids are a secondary response." Called a voice from around the corner of the restaurant's hall. Stepping confidently, yet with the subtleties of someone wise and experienced was a man, wearing a black sleeveless top with a hood which was drawn over the top half of the man's face, casual blue jeans with a pair of black shoes. He took a seat looking up towards the waitress he smiled lightly and motioned her to come over. He asked her to bring him a cup of coffee, black, she smiled and said "right away sir" The man looked towards Che, sitting up straight. "Quite the meeting place." He said as the waitress returned holding the cup of coffee. He smiled and nodded lightly, she put the cup down and backed up before returning to her duties. "The food here is mediocre, why do you keep on eating here?" he asked as he raised the cup to his lips, drinking lightly. After a moment or two he lowered the cup. "And the coffee is just as mediocre, lovely staff can only make up for so much." He said as he put the cup down.
He looked towards Che, his face still hidden, it was Sin City after all and the city crawled with the peering eyes of the enemies. "But Che, why are you in such a rush to leave? Time, or the most part is on your side." Quite the first conversation, so much time had passed since these two had ever sat down and had a conversation and now here they were at some nameless restaurant forcing mild small talk.

Che's eyes caught sight of themselves in the warmth of the coffee on the table. His plates still remained and probably would until after he left. It wasn't exactly the sight he wanted to welcome his guest with, but it would have to do. When the familiar tone echoed in Che's ears, his expression that resembled a heart monitor's flatline perked slightly. He could see himself grinning against the deep brown depths of his french vanilla blend. Without looking up, Che took notice of the man's clothing. It was unlike him to dress so...street urchin-ey. Then again, maybe this was the apparel of a biker. Yeah, probably a biker urchin. Moments after the tall, brooding took his seat and spoke, Che looked up to him. The man's face was still fresh in his memory and so was his dry sense of humor. "I don't know why I frequent this joint myself...it might just be the staff that keeps me coming back. Las Vegas blondes you know? Beauty over brains and all...."
Sitting back into the booth's chair, the Mastering Owl stared at the hooded figure for a moment and shook his head every other second. Bringing the cup to his lips, Che took a sip and savored whatever taste the blend had to offer. "Rush? Who said I was in a rush? I don't have two weeks to put a world saving front. No, no pressure at all my friend. Anyway, if you don't mind me asking sir, why are you dressed like that? The style isn't as dapper as what I'm used to seeing from you."

Sipping at the coffee a little more the hooded man smiled lightly at Che's responses, after all this time things hadn't seem to change much, but then again this was only the surface there was more then likely a concoction of differences floating around the world now. He looked himself over, shrugging lightly, "It's what you'd least expect. After all going through what I did can leave more than just a few questions popping from the ever so curious lips of those future world savors of yours. I'm not quite ready to make myself known just yet, so I decided dress out of the ordinary. I'm not worried about them sensing my energy signature, even since the incident my powers have reverted back to their original state, and none of them are old enough to know this signature." He said as he leaned back in his seat. He shifted his weight a little, taking another drink of the coffee to top it off.
"I see your sense of whimsy still hasn't improved. Always business business business, honestly you have two weeks enjoy them. Worry about saving the world when you stare the battle dead in the eye. Besides you couldn't have a better set of Owls, the youngsters these days have more tenacity then the previous generation." He said as he crossed one leg over the other. He placed his hand on the table tapping his fingers lightly to some beat in his head. "Life is fleeting, we're standing on the precipice of war, and this story is soon to reach its climax." He said as the tapping got a little stronger. "Who will conduct this symphony of battle? The one's who seek to dominate, or those seeking salvation? Whose to say." He smirked lightly, tilting his head slightly to the side as he rested his hand under it for support. "I must say it's good to be back, though perhaps dressing like this would be appropriate, if that fiery willed woman you have paired with you saw me she'd throw a tantrum the likes the world has never seen."

"It's been those questions that've been bashing my skull it. Damn it, all this work is going to give me cancer or something. Seriously, I plucked a gray hair from my chin a few days ago!" Che replied jokingly while taking sips off of his coffee between. The Owl leader attempted slipped one of his legs over the other in an attempt to get comfortable but the low height of the table didn't allow him to do so. This only slightly added to the amount of stress the Mastering Owl was feeling at the moment. "Ugh. Goddamn it. Anyway, these saviors as you call them...dude, they've actually been far more impressive than I thought. Three of them are Heralds. Of course, one of them was given the spot, but he's my son so I'm proud regardless." Che took this moment to place another order for coffee. Before the blonde left, he made sure to make sure that she got the amount of tablespoons right this time. "Roulin somehow managed to get the spot of Life Owl...and I'm sure you've seen your little clone become the Death Owl? He's still on his little 'I have to make the world hate me things'. Roulin's gotten stupid as well......saviors."
"I have my sense my whimsy. Trust me, I do. I'm just trying to keep these kids from losing their minds. Cecilia is having hunger pangs for Roulin, Jeannie...that little whore. Aeon and Moli are doing their best....and honestly they're doing well. Lucien and Roulin are of course my two biggest guns and my two biggest worries." The Italian took his coffee with a smile. The scent of it was intoxicating as over the coffee itself, he could smell the sugar in the liquid dissolving. The cup was taller than the last so this time, he'd get his fill surely. Taking a long swig from the cup, Che wiped his lips with the napkin his utensils once sat on and returned his attention to Dante. "Symphony? Nah, I'm not much an orchestra guy. I prefer....Jazz y'know? And yes, if we want to hear what these kids call Screamo, we can just take you to Kate. Do you want to do that? I've been deaf once. I can be deaf again."

"Getting old on me now Che? How ironic my little brother is passing me up on the age scale now." He said as he ordered another cup as well, as mild as the coffee was it was still coffee. "You're surprised by there talent? Che they've been the shining stars of there generation was there ever a doubt in your mind that they would shine?" Upon hearing about the new heralds and the two promoted Owls he whistled in a display of how impressed he was. "That's quite the gathering you have there. Life, Death, Satan, and not one but three Heralds. I'm not sure what you're so worried about with those powerhouses." He said making a small joke, he knew the severity of the situation despite his rather lengthy absence, his time away had hindered him but he still had his information web, things like this did not escape his attention. "So Lucien is still wallowing in what I can assume is still his own ego? Well I'm not to surprised, he's a strange one but he thinks on a different level then the rest of us and that's all there is to it, the connections he makes make no sense to us and vice versa." He took the cup which was now refilled with coffee and raised it to his lips to take a small drink of the hot liquid.
"So Roulin has fallen down a bit has he? Next time we have a talk I'll see if I can bring him back up, he's your son, but for nearly 12 years I was the one raising him." He laughed a little as Che gave his assumptions of some of the other owls with more than just colorful language. "They're quite the varied bunch aren't they? A whore, a lusty blue girl, a happy couple and two loose cannons waiting to go on a power spree. You've got your work cut out for you." He put the cup down and leaned forward a little wondering something. "What's become of the Night Owls? I mean the organization as a whole. Has it been crushed under the weight of some other faction, or do remnants of it still exist?" Before he let Che answer though he felt like giving his own little retort on Kate. "Yes you and I always did have conflicting taste in music and art, I prefer the traditions of the catholic faith and the sounds of the classics, while you enjoy the slightly more modern jazz and the contemporary. Both have their strengths. But as for Kate, let's not have this chat now I have a feeling she'll get her chance to be furious at me one way or another. I'd like to enjoy my time back for a little while longer."

"Well now, even you know how it goes. Physics? Stars may shine brightly. For billions of years! But at some point, they all burn out fade, turn evil, kill people and die," said Che with faux disappointment. Just as the man before him stated, the collection of Owls beneath his watch were possibly the best of the best, the cream of the crop and whatever other generic expression could describe the best collection of people one could choose. Being the voice of sympathy still, the Mastering Owl couldn't help but shake his head in slight disagreement. "By the way, your power. I haven't sensed it in a long time. Might explain this itch I keep getting behind my ear. Lucien is still---yes. That sounds about right. Ego, bad decisions and get this..." Che leaned forward like and whispered to his acquaintance and like some kind of gossiping wife, he whispered, "And he's got a baby. Oooooo....it's getting crazy...."
"Life and Death. Not the best forces to have to keep in check. Especially when they both have other powers and can still attain more. To answer your question, Noel died. That's what happened to the Night Owls." With that tidbit spilled before the elder brother, Che let him absorb it before continuing. "The Night Owls have merged with our team. Whatever was left of the UNS has as well because they were all fired. Roulin joined with us, but his team is still something on their own. And yeah, thanks for raising my son...me and him have made something of our broken connections. Amara well. They both don't want me dead anymore, so that's nice right?" The coffee addicted Italian took off half of his cup with just one swig. It was far sweeter than the last batch so that was a points to this establishment's name. The food was still of a low, low quality though. The only thing that was truly full were his eyes and that was thanks to the eye candy that strutted the places in short red and white plaid skirts. Scoffing, the Owl went on, "Heh. Something about angry women...to this day I'll never understand my own tastes. Anyway, Will is doing well to help out with this mission. If it weren't for him, I doubt I'd even get up in the morning for this bull..."

((TFP---Serena))
The shower was extremely pleasant. The soothing sound of the falling water was soothing and excellent when it came to blocking out all other sounds. Serena stood with her head bowed beneath the shower, allowing the warm water to trickle down her hair, neck and back in a weak massage kind of way. She looked up and turned round to grab some shampoo, but as she done that she felt something fall on her head. It was only a small ‘thud’ but…she definitely felt something. Slowly, she reached up with a hand and grabbed whatever foreign object it was that was that was sitting on her head. With a shiver, she knew what it was before even looking at it….
“…………………………”
“………………….”
“………..”
“AHHHHHHHHHH!!! $*&%@#!!!”
The vanishing Owl tossed the 8 legged freak out of her hand and proceeded to leap out of the shower. Serena’s few moments of peace had once again been shattered in the strangest of ways. Spiders were her worst nightmare and lowest weak points. In her attempt at escaping, the poor white haired woman slipped on the warm tiles and would have fallen over had she not grabbed a hold of the bathroom sink to stead herself. “F----f----f-uck you spider!!!” She grabbed a towel from the rack and literally ran from the steamed-up room in such a hurry it may seem she was attempting to impersonate the Flash. So much for her shower.
Pulling the towel around herself tighter, Serena perched herself on the edge of the bed trying to get over the nasty spider shock. Her heart was still racing and the thought that the little spider was still scurrying around in the bathroom was, for her, terrifying. The big bad assassin bunny had just been petrified by a small, itsy bitsy spider. “Somehow….this seems like a stupid prank….That guy…I blame him!” Serena couldn’t care less if her hair was now dripping water onto the bed, so what? It’s not like she planned on sleeping….well, not yet anyways. She has done enough of that the last few days already. Pulling her knees up to her chest, Serena leaned on them. She was opting to wait….wait for the spider to hopefully be washed away by the shower. “I will finish my shower! And you can’t stop me, Will!” With a small sigh and a roll of her eyes, she added in a mumble “Wherever you are…”
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle cocked an eyebrow when Will mentioned that a familiar face will be in the tournament. That alone was enough to win a smirk from the breezy male “Oh? Well now….you have me curious. I shall look forward to the fight.” Grinning like a Cheshire cat, the blonde male added “Me getting lazy? Look around you Will. I am far from lazy compared to some…A challenge….Heh, if you can get a hold of that a*****e Thomas I would be ecstatic.” The Fire Herald apprentice was still a bit sore about that match….While he was newer at this Herald lark and had yet to gain full power, he was rather confident that should he fight Tom again, they would be on equal grounds.
“Heh, and believe me, it is catching up with me quicker than I could have foreseen.” The blonde male chuckled and stood up with the empty glass. “Now now Will, don’t go overusing the word crap. It will lose its meaning if you are not careful. You are right though, I do smell of crap. It was that damn flight…” Daryle placed the glass into the small metallic sink and headed towards the bedroom door. “I am sure you can see yourself out unless of course, you are using this room to hide from the Owls that are using your things and winning your money” With a small chuckle Daryle entered his room, he glanced over his shoulder with a small smirk “Can you give me the details of the tournament once everything has been confirmed? It has been fun catching up. Next time, someone should bring the cards and some whiskey.”

((Will))
Will chuckled. Of course Daryle wasn't lazy compared to the rest of the losers right now. Then again, Daryle was considered one of the elders who had more experience and understood the situation even if he didn't want to. It might have helped because of Daryle's background, which shall be left to Haka to disclose to everyone. Anya and Nik, despite being older than Daryle, were half assing because they couldn't truly made a set decision on whether they wanted to fully participate or not. "You'll get a bat at Old-Still-Stinky soon enough, just not here. Your mastery of Wind is superior to his, but you should work on the Flame when you lose your wind." There was a double meaning in there. The Satan Owl was a little sore that he now couldn't kill Thomas because doing so would pass on the Wind Herald powers to him, and that couldn't happen. It didn't mean he couldn't toy around with Thomas though. "Mhmmm.... yes, I'm sure you'll be in for a pleasant surprise tonight." Maybe someone's sister or someone else that Daryle knew in his past life might appear...
The devil smirked at Daryle's catch on Will's play on the word "crap." It was done on purpose, and the Breezy flame had caught it. "Cards and whiskey, of course. Where do you think we are, Saxton?" With a short chuckle, the devil took his leave from Daryle's room. The arrangements for Daryle's entrance in the tournament were already in the works. Sebastian, Saxton will be taking part in the tournament tonight. Arrange for him to meet his sister.....

((Genyaaaaa the Not Fearless))
Genya Thorinagano had spent the time playing with lab equipment and doing studies that almost no one would understand. On this morning, Genya had gotten himself lost as he was randomly wandering around. Despite being eighteen, the Alchemist Owl still had a childish feel to him because he was so enthusiastic about his studies. Eto....I should ask for directions...
And it was at that point he heard: “AHHHHHHHHHH!!! $*&%@#!!!” Ah, that meant there was someone he could ask for directions. And so, the Alchemist Owl knocked on the door to the penthouse suite that Serena was in...even though the floor was not accessible without a certain code. Apparently, Genya had accidentally waltzed through. Eh? No answer. Just more screaming. But when Genya knocked again, the door opened. The Japanese Owl blinked as he walked in. "Eto..." The door closed behind him as he walked forward. "Eto... can I ask for directions?" And then he came upon another open door only in the room was a white haired woman wrapped in a towel dripping wet yelling about something. Genya froze. "Eto...I got lost...could you---" A lightbulb went off in the young Thorinagno's head as he recognized the white haired woman. "Oh, it's you, Albino-san!" he exclaimed. This was great. She could speak Japanese.

"But is that such a cruel truth? All exists in a grand scale. To the bugs on the ground we are no different then stars, they can't comprehend us, and when we walk we crush them indiscriminately, the stars explode and we are gone, such is the nature of life." He raised an eyebrow as Che mentioned his original powers. He shook his head a little and said. "Well yes, but then again I haven't felt them either, being the successor to the Satan Owl will do that to you. But I must say." He said trailing off with the conversation, a wafting haze slowly drifted from his fingertips, darkening the air around the area giving it a calming quiet feel. "I've missed them." He said as he spun his finger around in a circle shifting the dark haze ever so slightly before it dispersed allowing the light from the sun to flow through the window once more.
As he reached for his cup of coffee he raised it to his lips, taking another drink he waited for Che to spit out his gossip, but what he said surprised even this man. Like something out of a bad 60's movie he spat out the coffee to the side shocked by what he had just heard. "A baby? Lucien? Cold, callous, never able to connect with people Lucien? Wow what the Hell Che? I leave for a little bit and all this happens?" He asked as he wiped his mouth removing some of the coffee from his chin. Upon hearing Noel's fate he lowered his head slightly and sighed. "She was a good woman. May she rest in the glory of the deity she was names after." He said as he decided to grieve later. "So the Night Owls is all but gone, well that was bound to happen one way or another, I suppose given the circumstances segregations such as company names aren't needed now, perhaps this is for the best." He smiled and laughed a little when Che said his retort about Roulin and Amara. "Well it's certainly a step in the right direction, but I must say you may not want to have anymore children you don't seem to be very good with family matters." As Che mentioned Kate once more the man felt a chill go up his spine thinking about how she could react to this turn of events, her and that precious gate of hers, the laws of life and death and all that. "I hope she surprises me, I'd rather not get my arms torn off a second time." He said with a tone of dark humor, he didn't know how Kate would react, she was a harsh woman, but a good one, who knows maybe she would surprise him with a calmer reaction.
