I'm not really sure what post color to go with for this avi... Maybe a neutral brown will do. But since delasislas is a lovey and traded me a Practitioner of Black Arts, I HAD to use it. Past Halloween and I'm going witchy, figures, right? Haha~ Seriously, though, in love with this item and cannot describe exactly how excited I was when I saw it in the trade. It's so going to be a staple in my wardrobe now.

So finally, after a bunch of screw-ups and whatnot, my Linkin Park shirt finally arrived. I am so in love with this thing!!!!! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin
Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving~ Unless you're not American, at which point I simply hope you had a lovely day! Anyone going to be taking advantage of post-Thanksgiving sales? I already have. emotion_kirakira (Though it will likely be the only thing I buy during the sales. ^^; ) I'm upgrading the processor on the computer my beau and I share (to a lovely AMD Vishera 6-core that's supposed to clock at around 3.5 (3.9 if you're into overclocking, but we're not), heatsink and fan included). It's not a big jump (we're sitting on 3.3 already) but I'm still excited. In other news, my beau's hat is rather close to being done~ All the features are attached, it's just down to a little more embroidery and adding ear flaps, yay!
Well, I've apparently lied... About not buying anything else during the sales, that is. My beau went out yesterday and bought a new motherboard to go with our new processor. I'm sad to see our msi go, but we're replacing it with something that's technically an Asus brand (an Asrock, if anyone is curious). And it would have had to have happened soon, anyway, our current motherboard is no longer really compatible with any processor socket types, boo. (Which, yes, means the processor we just bought wasn't compatible.) To be expected, of course, I think it's about the last original piece left from when my beau built this baby some three years ago. Of course, with these pieces replaced, this means I have all but a working hard drive and a case to build a computer of my own with the cast offs. cat_cool

I promised to show you all once I was done, so... Ta-da! Project Monokuma hat is a success. (Yes, I'm modeling it, it's a bit big on me since it's sized for my beau.) And, as is required for everything I make, I did, indeed, stab myself on every single pin I used while making this. Next on the list: a Monomi hat for myself.

No problem, I saw that you wanted it, I looked at some of the info and apart from some items it was actually pretty easy. If you see anything that is alchemy, feel free to ask if I can look into it.

Hee, thank you~ I've started working on it, but I don't have a timeline since I'm not sure how best to do the ears since it's a rabbit, that'll have to be a lot of trial and error, and I might need to pick up some wire for them or something...

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind, I usually skip over alchemy updates because I know I can't do anything with them. ^^;
Technology is fun. Took the other motherboard back (couldn't get it to run, yay), bought one I actually WANTED (an msi, admittedly the build has over a year on it, but boy is it lovely). Thought we might need a new power supply because I couldn't get this one to run, either, at least not with the new processor. Turns out I was shipped a dud processor. Tried it on the old board (which runs perfectly still) and got nothing. Put the old processor (poor beast, a Phenom II) on the new board, and that's what I'm currently using with wondrously good results (even though Windows tried to make it crash on first thorough boot *shakes fist angrily at OS*). I'm so very angry, I'd love nothing more than to just send this blasted processor back and get my money back, maybe wait a bit and buy something newer, but they won't do a refund, only replacement. Ugh. And I'm terrified they won't take it, will tell me it's not DOA even though I can't get it to run no matter what I try. My beau called a place about testing to see if it's functional (because, admittedly, I'd rather figure out how to get it to run if it's fine rather than go through the hassle of replacing it), but they wanted to charge forty dollars for it. Forty. For another forty I could have had them install everything in my sodding computer for me, so ******** that noise, at least I don't have to pay to ship it back.
