((This is important if you want to know about the plot I'm putting together for the quest for Sentie's Box))
Aleta was asleep. Her skin was translucent, and one could see her vains and arteries through it. She was at te hieght of a comon illness in elves. It was far form deadly, it was just a sign of stress. The girl had given all her strength to training herself, and keeping her powers under control for the past week. Now it was time for her to rest. She could control her powers for the most part, although she bolted out of the tavern to run to Barton and back, and a burst of light came forth from her closed door, seeping through the cracks once and a while.
Right now she was in the middle of a dream that was more like a memory:
She was at the edge of her father's apple orchard, running toward her brother with her familiar double blade. Aleta was 11 again, young and scarless, full of life and uncontained energy. She jumped over him, tumbleing in the air, and thrust the blade into the ground, inches behind him. "Think you can take me on today, Ezzy? I can beat just about anybody right now!" her big brother, Eziekiel, turned around to face her. he chuckled, "Aleta" His white hair got tossed into the wind, and it blew accross his pale blue face. His purple eyes looked seroius, but playful and happy.
"You think you're good, don't you?" his voice was soft with a jokeing edge, and he was smileing. he took out his practice sword, and performed a backfilp so he was some distance away from his sister. "Well, I'll show you how its really done!"
One could tell it was something silly, and old, and very practiced between the two of them, this random, false battle.
They Aleta ran behid him, and kicked him to the ground, "Come on Ezzy! I know you can do better." "
You know I LET you win last time."
Eziekiel got up, and brushed himslef off. "Actually, that is not why I came out here for, just to find and fight you. Come on, I have something to show you."
"Awww come on Eziekiel, just one good fight, I want you to see how much I've improved!"
"I know how good you are, now come on!" He smiled, and picked her up, "Hey, put me down! Where are you takeing me?!" She struggled, and he slung her accross his shoulders like a sack of potatoes. "I told you, I have something to show you sister."
