Fallout: The Ruined York (Open and Accepting)

[Zahzi]

"Because it's too good to be true."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"SHUT. UP." Alex and HK barked in unison.  

[Zahzi]

Slade just gave a grunt.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

And the other two grew quiet...

Later...

"We're back!" Alex called out to the area where her Uncles had last been.  

[Zahzi]

Only two were still there.

Morris, who was tinkering with some unknown mechanical device, and Shinn who was now next to Morris, looking through his scope at the now damaged Statue of Liberty.

Both were too preoccupied to respond...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Guys... What are you doing?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow as she approached them.  

[Zahzi]

"It looks like the mute is busy working on something better than your robot, and the sniper is gazing at a long-dead woman."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Guys?" Alex called out, flat out ignoring Slade.  

[Zahzi]

Shinn held up one finger, asking for them to wait...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Alex gave a tired sigh, but remained quiet.  

[Zahzi]

Slade then leaned over to Alex.
"....Are they usually like this..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Sometimes. I didn't see 'em much as a kid, so I can't accurately say."  

[Zahzi]

"....Any clue what he is looking at..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It could be anything... He can see the dust on that statue if he really wanted to."  

[Zahzi]

"...But what?"
