((Serena))
Serena hugged herself a bit more as a chill ran down her spine due to the fact she had barely dried herself of. She glanced up when she thought she heard a door go. “Hm?” Sitting up completely Serena waited for whoever it was to appear before her. It could only be Will or Sebastian, or so she had thought. So, you could imagine her surprise when Genya of all people appeared. He done his usual broken attempt at speaking English with an ‘eto’ at the start of the sentence, before he realised who it was he was speaking to and instantly spoke in Japanese. Serena felt her eye twitch when he called her by Albino-San. Suddenly it felt like she was back at school being picked on by the other kids because of her white hair. Although, she knew Genya was nothing like them…besides, she could kick his a** something nasty if he was trying to mock her.
“Genya…What are you doing here? And for the last time my name is Serena…not Albino…” The Vanishing Owl muttered gazing at the young Japanese male wearily. Unlike the shy Kojiro…this one was a chatterbox and pretty nosey. A walking headache perhaps. “You got lost? Hmph, I bet you could get lost in a paper bag.” It was somewhat amazing that this particular smart, science loving Owl had managed to get to this particular room….Amazing but an annoyance. “I will have someone take you back to your room.” The more she spoke in Japanese with the kid, the more she ended up thinking about Koji. “Don’t tell me I will get like this every time I see a Japanese boy…”
Serena stood up from the bed being careful to keep her towel wrapped tightly around herself. She crossed the room and picked up her phone ready to ring Sebastian. “Do you know what room number you are staying in? Any particular objects that are near the room?” She asked the young male somewhat quickly, she could barely bring herself to look at Genya even though he was nothing like Kojiro! “Hurry up----In fact...here..” She tossed her phone at Genya ”Hit the dial button, Sebastian will be able to understand Japanese…I need to…I need to Get dressed….” The white haired woman swallowed a lump in her throat and promptly stepped inside the closet like thats what she was supposed to do. “Leave the phone on the table and go once you are finished.” To keep herself busy, Serena began shifting through the various outfits inside the closet on the lookout for something reasonable to wear before she caught her death.

((Genya))
"Paper bag? Oh... I have a new type of paper bag." Oh dear. Genya had indeed invented a new type of paper bag, and the whole lost in a paper bag thing was lost on him. "Eto... oh, I am in room...777! There is a hallway and paintings there...." Yeah, there were hallways and paintings near every room. "Albino-san...oops, I mean Usagi ...umm...eto... Serena-san! Are you ok?" But then Serena stepped inside the closet, so Genya resigned to using the phone. Of course, Genya didn't catch it, so the phone plunked to the ground with a crash. The room was carpeted, so the phone was safe.
The Alchemist Owl pressed the "dial" button...
...but apparently when the phone dropped, the number had changed... and instead Genya got a message saying "You're going to go back to Japan with Serena bunny." "Ehhhhh?!! Serena usagi! I'm supposed to go with you to Japan?"

"Hehe. You've managed to catch the bigger picture. You've managed to catch the universal meaning behind my words, but still, you've missed the larger point." said Che before taking another long draw from his cup of french vanilla flavored coffee. "What I'm saying is these stars...aren't going to burn as a beacon of hope or whatever forever. Roulin, Lucien, Cecilia, Anya and even Moli are going to have to live with the fact that they're going to be alive for a very, very long time. Aeon...I feel for her. Amara as well. They're going to age into dust while their 'beacons of hope' live on. Then, what'll become of them? They'll grow ol--well, they'll grow. Bitter. Same thing with Timothy. Even now, since we've been returned by some odd means of rule bending, we'll age and die." That was the truth as well as the bum Owl leader could describe it. Whether or not this man knew that things were not as they were hundreds of years ago would be something that may hold him back now. With another swig that emptied his coffee, Che only hoped that their drawbacks wouldn't hinder them now. Now that they were more mortal than ever before.
The Mastering Owl held back an explosion of laughter when his company reacted the way that he did. His faux-child which he knew to be a cunning, cold-hearted and calculating machine of a man did indeed foster a child with his son's ex-girlfriend. He could understand just how he felt. "Hey, it's not my fault! I can't tell them not to....do that stuff! Of course it'll get in the way later on and provide for some much uneeded drama, but hey, what's life without a few twists and turns huh? A baby is the perfect thing to stir up such scenes." The Italian was full thanks to the coffee. The food the place served filled him, but it was so lacking in substance, the may have just been swallowing air. Exhaling tiredly, Che sat back in his seat after handing the hooded man a few napkins and said, "Hey now. I had to work alright? Besides, Roulin and I, like I said, have patched things up. Moli has always loved me. Sooooo screw you. Now, Kate aside, what do you think of our current situation? I mean, Raven's oracle is right around the corner, my deck will soon be up for grabs and almost all of the Heralds have been eliminated and replaced. I want to hear your thoughts and any plans you may have. Keep in mind though that Timothy, Sydney or Rage and Ember are still opposing us and protecting Raven who has Roulin's Heart of Life. Go."
~~~
"I'm a particle physicist," replied Moli with a grin the well veiled his untruth. He kept Aeon in his peripheral just to gauge her reaction. If it wasn't a facepalm or anything of the sort, then he'd continue to give more life to his story. After the wine had arrived, Moli poured himself a glass and swished the alcoholic liquid around. The surface was clear as crystal and nothing foul was in the wine. It appeared that no one here knew anything of Moli and Aeon's escapades along with the other freedom fighters. This was good, but at the same time, it was the worst possible thing. This now meant that he had to lie on and on and on until they decided to stop questioning him.
"When I'm not with Aeon, I spend most of my time either in the books or in the lab studying atoms, how the move and how they interact with each other." Of course, this was easy to draw from his mind as the Herald knew the ins and outs of elements, atoms and even the unknown particles yet to be discovered. It was his dream...his wish and his goal. Sadly, even he knew that it would never be thanks to this life of war. "Illegal? No...nothing like that. We have been getting mail though at CERN in Geneva People think that our machine will make a black hole or some madness. We just laugh and smash particles. And to answer your question sir...it's. Well, it's complicated why Aeon decided to quit school. I take responsibility for it all. You see I...."
The blonde trailed off on his statement and looked over to Aeon sheepishly. His road had come this far and now, he was spent. If suspicions were going to be kept down, then she'd have to give some kind of reason as to why she'd drop out of college for this man.
With the coffee removed from his chin the hooded man regained his composure rather quickly. He returned to a comfortable sitting position and listened as Che continued to talk. "They have all the time in the world, let them find their own way through immortality, you did, I did, they will. They don't need us to hold their hands through their now endless journey they have all the time in the world to cope." He laughed as Che gave his defense on the now running loose students they had raised. "Drama? Che you are up to your head in responsibility the last thing you need is drama, you need support, help not random baby mama drama and everything that comes with it." He shook his head as he rubbed the bridge of his nose for a minute. When he heard him ask what his opinions were on the current situation he thought for a minute tapping his fingers on the table a little.
"Hm...Well in that order. Raven's Oracle doesn't bother me, it's a reaction of the Tempanis Wiki, killing her is the only way to see to it that the prediction doesn't follow. So kill her and all will be well or let her live and allow the prophecy to continue. Your deck is a concern however, all in all I curse the day you hid that damned thing. I always knew it would come back to bite us all in the a**. Oh well life moves on, if you want my opinion I would say if it comes down to it, destroy it, or put it somewhere that no peering eyes or hands can reach if you or someone on your team can't retrieve it. The heralds, well there's not much to discuss these are simply the new generation, I must admit it's surprising that so many were replaced by a single generation, that is no small feat, Heralds are the best of the best in their elemental controls to think that not one but four prodigy Owls were able to topple them is truly remarkable, it has never happened before. As for the trio of heralds aiding Raven, crush them, plain and simple. Your main concern, no offense to Ember will be Timothy and Rage, hit them with heavy hitters and don't let up, don't be afraid to pit more then one of your own Heralds against them, you're fighting a war not having a match of chivalry. Send Roulin and Lucien after Raven, as powerful as she is she will not last long against the duo of Life and death. While those fights are going on have the others keep the main faction members of the Fallen Phoenix busy, they have an army of generic owls but you have a team of aces don't be afraid to use them." He intertwined his fingers and smiled. "Damn that felt good, I haven't given a tactical plan in so long. I love what I do, then you have the pair Radiant and Phantom yes? Of course you do, if you didn't i wouldn't be here, use Phantom's power to warp reality without distinction to your advantage, he can turn a city into a pit of lava at the mere thought don't be afraid to use that as well. Radiant cannot die by simple means, she will do fine in holding off waves of normal owls. I don't think I see the cause for worry, there is so much potential in these people personally I want to be the one conducting this symphony of war. But alas I'm afraid that position will fall to another."
"That would be my plan, you've got the best team possible use them. Will, Kate and yourself are another stream of heavy hitters, by no means should the three of you be stuck holding off nameless owls caught up on the bandwagon affect of Raven's charismatic rampart. I would say you three should be the ones to handle whomever Raven sets of as her elite guard so to speak. You're all strong, resilient, you three are the figure heads of the army, nothing is feared more than Satan, Kate has her army of the myth and the dead, and you're name carries as much weight, and fear as did the Heralds." He stopped laughing a little, somehow this little get together had become a war meeting. "Whether or not you take my advice is up to you. But unfortunately I will not be able to participate in this fight. I am still new to this world, my body, and my powers all need more time to rejuvenate I am a husk of the man I use to be. For now I'm afraid all I can be is a source of advice."
Serena had opted to getting dressed using whatever items of clothing there was a hand, namely a long shirt and some trousers. She was already dressed before Genya had finished answering her questions, but the vanishing Owl was about to admit that. “I am fine. Don’t worry about me, just get yourself back to your room..” Sucking in a deep breath Serena left the comfort of the closet and stared at Genya with a frim eye after his last message. There was no way in hell that she was going to travel with him back to Japan. Not now, not yet…not while she was in her current mood. “Room 777? Leave this room, take the first left, travel down the corridor for 3 minutes, turn right and it should be the fourth door on the right…” Well, the white haired woman still had a good memory on her despite the situation.
The Vanishing Owl snatched her phone back of Gen and stared at the message that was on display. She then proceeded to throw her phone at the wall “Will! Get your a** here right NOW!” Serena was in a foul mood by this point, but her current mood was not something that was able to be put down in words. She was merely pissed that whoever had sent that message was trying to put her down as some sort of babysitter. What the ********?! Seriously?! Her silver eyes narrowed onto poor little Gen as if she was questioning why he was still there. “If you are going to hang around, at least take a seat. Your standing there is making me uncomfortable….” From the bathroom the clear sound of a shower could still be heard. Serena would check on the spider…..at some point..
"Eto..." Genya's head bobbed as Serena gave him directions. Travel down the corridor for three minutes? Eto, ok...Genya and Serena's walking speed weren't the same. But the Alchemist Owl was a bit taken aback when Serena launched her phone at the wall. "Eto...albi----Serena sama, are you ok?" He shivered slightly as she stared him down with that narrow eyed glare of hers. The Vanishing Owl was very intimidating right now. When she addressed him, he shook his head. "No, I'll---" Before he could say "go", she told him to sit down. Genya was confused. Even if he left, he'd probably get lost and turn into a wrong room again "Gomensai....I have something that can make you feel better..." he offered. He was referring to a potion of course.
As if on cue, a certain blonde devil walked into the penthouse. "a*****e in the house." Will remarked with a smirk as he somehow made it to Serena in seemingly no steps or time at all. An arm went around Serena's shoulder and patted her. "What is it this time? Ah, don't tell me little Gen scared you....and Genya, you do know you will be returning to Japan, don't you?"
Each time Genya nearly called Serena Albino-San, the white haired woman would twitch. It was almost as if the idiot Alchemy Owl was doing it on purpose….Of course he wasn’t, he wasn’t socially smart enough to do such a thing. “I said I was fine didn’t I? Stop trying to ask me so many questions…it is annoying” The white haired woman eyed Genya when he stated that he had something that could help her. She had heard about his potions before and so she wasn’t about to put herself up for experimentation. Especially not now… “I don’t need one of your potions, Genya…Perhaps another time?” She muttered in a calmer and a far more gentle tone.
Serena turned slowly to face the late Satan Owl with such a look she almost seemed ready to nail him in the groin. Instead, she stood dead straight as he placed an arm around her shoulders. She neither reacted nor said a word as Will spoke about Genya scaring her and then he even had the cheek to PAT her! Serena merely stood still like some sort of doll…before her patience ran out. Glancing up at Will then back to the young Japanese male, Serena merely muttered "Tomorrow...We will leave for Japan tomorrow." She freed herself from Will's arm and stepped away from the two males, heading for the balcony that had an amazing view. She had just about had enough of Las Vegas, she was now longing for a home she was familiar with. "Soon, everything will be back to normal..." Breathing in the cool air the white haired woman leaned on the railing and sighed.
The Colonel listened to Moli as he talked the young man was impressive with what he was saying. "Well Aeon it seems that you bagged yourself someone really impressive. I don't know much about that science stuff but if that's what Molly here is doing I can't blame you staying with him" he said with a hearty laugh. The soups began to come to the table and the Colonel began to eat his soup.
Janet thanked the waiter and took a drink of her wine and began to eat her potato soup. "This is lovely isn't it Aeon dear?" she asked. Aeon nodded her head in silence. Janet then took another sip before speaking. "Well since Moli has such a nice job, what are you doing Aeon...since you didn't finish school, and you never really answered us why did you stop going to school?" she asked. "I know Moli didn't sale you a dream of having the perfect life, and you were so close to graduating dear. You know how much we value education in this family" she said to her daughter with a worried expression on her face.
Aeon began to start on her soup, trying to enjoy the food in this uncomfortable situation. Her parents kept pushing the same question over and over and over, Aeon thought she would die if she heard the question one more time. It was very sweet of her light herald boyfriend to make up that story and she was fairly impressed that he would lie for her in that manner...but Aeon's heart was burdened with guilt. "Moli...thank you" she said reaching for his hand and squeezing it.
Aeon took a sip of wine before speaking. "Mom, Daddy...I have something to tell you." she said to them. "And no I'm not pregnant or anything like that, but Moli is somewhat one reason I didn't finish school...but the main reason is...well it was for my safety....you see...I'm....I'm...well...I'm what some people would call...gosh I don't know how to say this" she said finishing off her first glass. As if it was some magic elixir, the projector spoke once more.
"I'm an OWL...." she trailed off. "Moli was the one who told me about my abilities, all of this time I thought that I was a normal girl...but he explained to me --"
"--WHAT THE HELL YOU TOLD MY DAUGHTER SHE WAS ONE OF THOSE FREAKS?!?! The Colonel exclaimed. He was enraged as to the reason why his daughter had dropped out. "Aeon you are normal, we've raised you almost your whole life, you're our little girl...you can't be...you can't be one of those abominations" he said to his daughter. Aeon looked down into her soup bowl trying not to make eye contact. The Colonel finished his soup, now a beat red color. "See Janet I told you sending her off was a bad idea...but you just had to let her gain her independence, nothing was wrong with the local university in our city" he told her. "A ******** OWL...what in the hell is the world coming to?" he asked himself in a murmur.
Japan? But but but Gen wasn't done experimenting with something, and that something wasn't native to Japan.... "Eto..." But then the genius Alchemist Owl shut his mouth. The usagi san looked very not in the mood to talk, and why did Will call her an usagi? Sensing the scary atmosphere, Genya simply nodded as Will told him there was someone who could take him to the labs....not Gen's room, but the labs...because Gen was definitely in the labs experimenting on something. A normal lab. Not the freaky Seb labs. But not before Gen left a potion on the end table by the bed.
((Will))
Oh, his furry bunny was simply depressed. She was still thinking of the blue haired Japanese icer. She just wanted to get away from here and it was obvious in her posture as she froze and then "glided" away to the balcony to leave Will and Genya alone. Once Gen had left though, the Satan Owl made his way to the balcony next to Serena. He stroked her hair. "Are you thinking about the hot springs, dear?"He put his arm around her again and pulled her to him. "It will be fine, bunny. Tell me where you want to go and what you'd like to do, and I'll take you there now."
But they were interrupted by the sound of a sniper rifle shooting, or at least, Will picked up the sound even within all the noise from the floors below.
Serena leaned into Will feeling somewhat grateful for the extra warmth. The evening air was a lot crisp then she had first thought and it sent goose bumps along her arm, probably due to her damp hair. “The hot springs are always pleasant this time of the year” nothing quite like a dip in a soothing pool of steaming warm water on a cold evening. What she wanted to do? Where she wanted to go? Right now the white haired woman didn’t know what she wanted; perhaps the warmth and comfort of another, something that could erase the sense of loss that kept rearing its ugly head whenever it was given a chance. Slowly, she turned round and reached up with a hand “Will----“
The Vanishing Owl paused quite suddenly as she could have sworn that she had heard a sniper being fired. A small ting on the doorframe just behind them was most definitely a bullet ricocheting of the metal frame. “Seven…..” Serena muttered as her eyes trailed the area around them, Will was long forgotten for the moment but she remained pressed against him…Even as she began to mumble randomly. “Seven inches short; a sure miss....will be lining up again as quickly as possible….possible sweaty hands from nerves…means unpredictability” Her silver eyes narrowed as she gazed through a window to another building up ahead. “Positioned at a slight angle….ten…ten seconds before--” Serena spun round quickly and shoved Will away from her before moving herself, though her hesitation had seen the bullet scrap along her arm, a mere graze…had she reacted any slower it would have been a fatal shot to the heart. “Useless….”
Slightly pissed, Serena ran into the room and pulled out a trunk from beneath the bed. Inside was the parts needed to form a high quality sniper rifle. The white haired woman made it look so easy putting the gun together. A few clicks, a twist here and there and before you know it, a perfect sniper was in the hands of the Vanishing Owl. “I will show them how it’s done…” She stepped back onto the balcony and took aim almost instantly. Through the scope she could see who it was and felt a smirk play on her lips. An old acquaintance…Actually, she was surprised as to how this man was still alive…Perhaps she should ask a few questions later… Without a flinch or a care, Serena squeezed the trigger and watched through the scope as her bullet landed between the guys eyes with a spray of blood dirtying the wall behind him.
With a slow release of air, Serena placed the sniper down and leaned on it slightly, “Some people have no manners…or a good aim” She muttered in some sort of joking manner.“Sorry about the shove, Kitten.” Of course she really wasn’t, she was pretty sure that Will could have moved if he had wanted to. But, her small shove was just more fun.
Will hadn't moved when he heard the shot. In fact, he had done it on purpose to see if Serena would remember herself while being depressed. Ah, but that shooter had such bad timing. The Vanishing Owl was just starting to relax... The end result was the same though. Serena had calmed down with a slight vengeance to the culprit that had tried to shoot. The albino had received a graze for her slow reaction, but she was out and about with a sniper gun in a jiffy. The blonde devil couldn't help but smirk at the bunny's response. He didn't mind the shove. It meant she was still awake. He chuckled as she commented on the culprit's bad aim and bad manners. He ruffled her hair. "Mmm... but you got them albeit a bit slow. Have you become too plump for a bunny rabbit?" He smirked that devilish smile of his. "It's alright, bunny. I know you do enjoy shoving people around..." He patted her repeatedly. She was getting back to her old self. "Now, about where you wanted to go..."
Of course Will had to make a small comment on the time it took for Serena to deal with the culprit. He wouldn’t be Will if he wasn’t acting like a smart a**. Ignoring the hair ruffling, Serena glanced over at Will and smirked “Too plump? Not just yet…and I won’t become plump if you insist on feeding me salads.” The Vanishing Owl picked up the sniper gun and nodded at Will’s words. “Shoving people is far more satisfying then asking them to move…particularly the look on their faces when you shove them in front of a moving car...it is highly amusing..” Serena had done that before when she was breaking up with some random guy. If he couldn’t take the hint then he could take a hit instead. Serena narrowed her eyes when Will began to repeatedly pat her on the head, something he seemed to enjoy and do a lot. “Where….”
A sly smile danced across Serena’s features as she leaned up and kissed Will softly. “Mmm….” She raised the sniper in her hand and pressed it into the Satan Owls stomach “Nowhere…here is fine. I am leaving tomorrow so figured I may as well enjoy what time I have left here” She prodded Will with the guns barrel before laughing and placing the sniper down. Serena stepped past Will and walked back inside stopping once she was in the centre of the room and looking over her shoulder “When this whole thing is over, you will be coming back to Japan...won’t you? You better come back alive…Kitten.” She smiled “Otherwise I will be very pissed at you.” Serena had no doubt in her mind that Will would return, she was merely joking.
Serena was not shy when it came to saying what she wanted and she certainly wasn’t scared to ask for what she wanted. “Tonight…stay with me.” A mischievous glint of light danced in her eyes as she looked away “Who knows how long it will be until you return…” The Vanishing Owl laughed and ran a hand through her hair “Oh, and don’t think I am growing all soppy and sentimental, it is simply boring spending each night alone. Besides, it’s not as if this is goodbye. Hell, trying to leave you is close to impossible. You would only pop up and annoy me ten times more than usual.” Yeah, that has happened before when Serena was a bit younger and had tried to get out of working for the Satan Owl.
“So Will…what do you say? Can you entertain me tonight?” She turned round with a small smile and whispered “Please…” It was quite rare for Serena to admit that she actually wanted company. However, the last few days was enough to have even her craving some sort of human interaction…
Lucien raised an eyebrow as Jeannie told him he could be more open. He shook his head and sighed. "I'm not being particularly distant, there are just some new developments in my life, Amara and now Aiden they make the decision I have mad far more difficult, there is no denying that. But I can't think about something like this on a personal level. Yes I am putting the needs of my family in second place but Amara and Aiden are just two people, if two people must live without a significant other, and a father for the rest of the world, the other billions of people to live happy lives then so be it." He walked towards the bathroom, getting a washcloth wet he ran it over his face. Slowly he lowered it before dropping it onto the counter. "It's not fair, and I understand if what I do seems horrible but this isn't a war of ethics its a war of blood. I will give them all that I am for now, and I will see to it that they are taken care of when I am gone. For now I will give them all the time i have, but when the time comes that I must leave I hope that they can move on with their lives. I love Amara, and I love Aiden, but I can't give them the lives they deserve, they deserve stability, comfort, a life where they don't fear walking down the street, if this war isn't ended, and the violence stopped I can't give them a life like that. Before my driving force for this ridiculous plan of mine was just a drive to do the ultimate good, and to hell with all the little steps in the way, but now I'm doing it for them. Aiden can grow up without a dad, but he can't grow up in a world that despises what he is, he is my son he'll be an Owl there's no point in denying it, and he will be a damned good one, it's in his genes." Lucien smiled lightly, talking to Jeannie, feeling a sense of pride in his son despite the fact that Aiden was a baby whose crowning achievement in life was simply existing. "I love them enough to know that I'm not what they need. What they need is a better life and I'll sacrifice anything to give them that."
Listening to Lucien, Jeannie stood up stretching a little. "Well you are a great and noble man, many people won't get that about you until years and years after you do what you have to do.... sacrificing yourself for the greater good...just when I thought you couldn't get any more amazing" she said with a light chuckle. The telepath walked closer. "I know it's not my place...but I can't help feel that...you're feeling distant from Amara....I mean...I'm an empath as well...and...well" she said trying to figure out what she needed to say to Lucien.
"I can tell that she just doesn't understand your reasoning Lucien...nobody really does...let's face it, even the people that we're working with now do not understand it. But I can tell you this, I understand...especially after living the life I have lived...I never told you but my childhood was anything but a fairytale...I mean, yea we were rich, but my mother was an alcoholic and my father...was a workaholic...we weren't what you would call a very emotional family" she said to him. "My father pitted me and my siblings against each other, you know to see who would be his heir to his company and fortune...and the only sibling who didn't hate me was my brother, but once my father found out he was gay, he disowned him...and I never heard from him since that day...since that day, that's when I knew it was a dog eat dog world and there were going to be things that I would have to do to get ahead in this life" she said.
"None of our powers...me and my siblings...abilities worked against each other, so there was no way to sway them into doing what I wanted so I had to learn how to fight dirty. Me and father became really close...through much backstabbing of my sisters as I could, naturally they tried to kill....numerous of times...I had to poison one of my sisters and the other one...I shot...after she attempted to shoot me" she said. "Surprisingly...my father was pleased and listed me as sole heir...afterwards I killed him...I could no longer stay in the presence of such a sick monster as he...who only saw his kids as puppets of his..." she said to him looking a way for a second.
"Since I've been in control of his business, I've done nothing but good...unlike him who would steal from other organizations at the expense of innocent people's lives and money...like I said Lucien...I know what it means to make difficult decisions...I'm not saying that I've enjoyed everything that I've done...but sometimes it has to be done...I've only told you, because I feel that you can understand where I'm coming from, just like I understand where you're coming from. Me and you Lucien...we're more alike than what you know" she said looking into his eyes. Leaning inwards she placed her lips on Lucien's as she began to kiss him.
Lucien listened to her story, turning around so his back was facing the mirror in the bathroom and he was looking out the door at Jeannie. Her life was one filled with hardships, in the end Lucien could see her choice of logic, if removing her siblings from the world was the way to getting a corporation that could help others then so be it. As he listened to her finishing her speech he raised an eyebrow a little when she said that they were more alike then he thought. He opened his mouth to respond but soon found it covered by Jeannie's own. His eyes widened a little as he froze for a moment. He would be lying if he said he had never thought about Jeannie like this, she was a beautiful woman who was assertive and powerful, but in his mind there wasn't the spark that he held for Amara. He reached up, placing his hands on her shoulders he gently pushed her off of him. "Jeannie, regardless of how similar we are Amara is the only woman who has ever made that form of connection with me." He walked towards his bed, sitting down on it he looked at her. "Don't get me wrong, you're a beautiful woman, and over the months we spent together I can't say that I didn't start to feel a certain attachment to you. But seeing Amara again, and with the news of Aiden, I realized that no matter how i felt physically towards you Amara will always be the love of my life."
