yeah, together. fan-RPs are perfectly legit. it's the ultimate crossover ones that get annoying. in those cases you have problems like the ultimate ninja trying to bring a heartless back to life and losing his arm. it's....it's just....no. just no.

Though... some crossovers are fun ninja
Currently, with a friend on Yahoo, we're doing a Naruto/Bleach mix.
Pretty much- when they die, they go to Soul Society, and Chakra suddenly is called Reiatsu...
Insanity, but we love it.

fun. i've never seen bleach. i've been told it's really good, but i just haven't found it anywhere. naruto on the other hand, i have seen. i've seen i think it's three episodes. one of them i hated but the other two were good. now if only i could remember what they were......

I kind of got bored with Naruto, though I still like to RP my own characters in that kind of setting. I've been paying more attention to Bleach, though I'm nowhere near where everyone else probably is....

*collapses because of a mega-huge work schedule* Gah! I'm so busy, being at work for 30-40 hours now. Summer certainly mde them give me more hours. I'm glad and all, but I now find myself with less energy (but stay up ridiculously late for some reason now) to spend on online activity.
On the PS note, I will be posting in a few minutes.
Yeah, Skreemer, every time our character could potentially meet, my character ends up interactin with somebody else. I suppose we'll meet up in the dormitory, though.

Yes, Goosey's Naruto RP went well while it lasted.
KH's complex storyline is confusing to me (though I've never played the games apart from isolated instances at friends' houses).
FMA could work, but god-moding would be hard to control.

I use to do some Naruto RPs, I watched up to episode 25 so I knew the basic gist of what was going on XD. Even started doing the Chuunin exams for one group though I got bored and stopped before we even really started. I got to the second test and just kinda stopped. I still like the characters I used for my team though, they were fun.
I've also done the Bleach RP (the one Gale was doing) and that was fun too biggrin other than those though the only other 'fan' RPs I've done pertain to X-Men on a HUGE base. We had a giant forum with tons of active threads and stuff but I haven't seen those people in...years. The sites gone now, but I bet there lurking around somewhere. I miss them *sigh*

Meh, some RPs are good, and some not. It depends a great deal on how much work goes into them. In the end, however, any RP can be great. Hell, I remember Bluesteel and I kept an RP alive for several weeks of daily posting . . . despite never having been given a plotline by the thread creator! We just kinda winged it, and it was fun.
Naruto was actually quite good till the final fight with Sasuke. After that, it is all filler and I couldn't care less about the show. After that fight, I just wanna jump right into Shippuden (Hurricane Chronicles). ^_^
Bleach is a great show . . . though after the Seireitei story arc with Rukia, I lose interest with the Bunto arc. Just kinda meh and made me lose interest in the series.

The Seireitei arc was fun, possibly my favorite, though I like the arc I just finished...
The Bounto arc was a filler- it's not even in the manga... I got bored with it, too, and just skipped the darn thing.

I liked the Bountou arc. For a filler intnded solely to give Tite Kubo time to make more manga, I thought it was very well-done.
And the post-Bountou stuff is wonderful!
As for crossovers, if the series being mixed are similar in flavour, they can work (in my opinion).
Goosey's Naruto RP holds a special place in my heart. It was the first time I RPed with Gale. Unfortunately, it didn't go on long enough for me to RP with anyone else.
I'm going to try to post in PS within the next few days.
