Drink plenty of fluids and get lots of bed rest. I also advise to wash your hands a few times a day in hot soapy water to avoid spreading the infection when you touch a surface.

Hmm... too bad the people of Raccoon City didn't take that stellar advice....

Seriously though, get your hands on some Zicam swabs. They have Zinc in them, and it'll reduce the time that you're sick by about half.

I hate colds. They are the only illness i have gotten than make you feel crap and are common enough to have at least once a year.

You're telling me. At least you getting a cold doesn't equate to you not getting a paycheck. I sing for a lot of outside organizations, and if I'm sick, I can't sing, ergo, I don't get paid.

Honestly, hot tea and orange juice are the way to go. Combine that with the Zinc swabs and lots of water, and you'll be better in no time.
