((Serena))

Serena merely nodded as Will spoke, no reaction from her what so ever….until Will happened to mention something about a grey hair. She glared at the Satan Owl as if she was challenging him to push his luck some more. Giving up and standing up with a huff, Serena grabbed a towel and tossed it over Will’s head “Fine….Lets go” She snapped in a display of disgruntled annoyance. For the most part, she had been looking forward to what could have been. Now, she kinda found herself looking forward to a decent meal, none of this rabbit food malarkey that Will kept leaving out for her. “Of course it is your treat, you owe me that much after your performance….or rather, lack of it” Serena was totally saying things out of anger, her usual reaction of course. Her mouth tended to get the better of her when she was in a bad mood or in a bad situation. Although, it never really helped with anything.

The Vanishing Owl stalked through the bedroom and into the large walk in closet where she began tossing clothes to one side in her search to find something suitable. She knew that there was no way they would be eating at some lousy cheap place and so she ended up picking out a full length evening dress. It was rather daring and had this classic kind of feel to it. “Hmph…” Despite how nice she looked after brushing her hair, drying it and styling it and even going through the trouble of applying a small amount of make-up, Serena was still feeling quite pissed off. “No point lingering on that now…I will get him later…”

Serena left the closet ready and waiting for Will to whisk her away for dinner. She gazed over at the rolling Cerbs and pulled a face. While he looked cute, the bruised memory was still vivid in her mind and it was enough to make her frown. Had things gone perfectly, she would be on that bed still and most definitely feeling satisfied by now. Instead she had a headache, her stomach was rumbling and apparently all the stress was turning her pristine white hair grey! “This night can’t really get any worse….” She sighed and took a seat while waiting for the blonde devil to appear. Her left hand rubbed her stomach gently, not only to sooth the angry cramps but also out of affection for the life inside…"I bet you are hungry as well...Sorry for making you wait" she whispered with a small half smile.

"I'm going to need all the support I can get. Sometime soon, I intend to structure the attack groups and defense groups accordingly," said Che before running his fingers through the small thicket of hair atop his head. Contemplatively, he stroked his beard and even looked around the room for something like a reference. His mind was racing now, but not like how it was when he drank Tai's heart attack juice. He was more focused now thanks to the circumstances before him. Like the grizzled veteran before him said, the team that he had backing him was far too strong to lose. This mission...would be hard to botch, but even still, the possibility of one thing worried the Mastering Owl to no end. "Heh, like I said, drama is fun. You've never seen Jersey Shore have you? Pay a bunch of Italian's to act like idiots and you revenue comes in! The show must be fun to watch. If it wasn't then how would it make generate such income? But no, no. I actually hate drama with a passion. It only brings about work, and I'm not a man of...toooo much work."

"But, jokes aside my friend, you're right. It is easy. We simply kill the Raven yes? You forget, her oracle is due. Soon. When she gets it, she'll be protected by....forces until she reaches her destination. The destination is next to my deck. So, she'll have first grab at it. That's something I've accepted, but what's breaking a few fingers to get it back huh?" The Italian gave a sinister smirk when the thought arose. No longer was he above letting anything between him and his hand-made weapon get in the way. The factor that made this excusable was that Raven was still a terrorist that needed to be killed or something and every since her arrival on the scene, she's been nothing but trouble. Next only to her his list of people that needed to be killed was Thomas. The mutual between these two was self-explanatory though when given their past. "Good to see you can still draw up a plan man. You have lost your touch even after so many months of inactivity. My plan, which I don't believe I've told Will about, is as follows."

"The Heralds. Our Heralds are their own team. That's Moli, Cecilia and Anya. Maybe Anderson since held his own against Moli and Anya. As you said though, Roulin and Lucien will be going their mission alone. Roulin hasn't been doing a good job of killing Raven because, well, she's still alive as you can see. Lastly, defensive teams. The telepaths....Amara, Jeannie, Elle and Erin. Those four together can probably knock out a few towns worth of people. I'm sure there will be a defense to them somewhere..." said Che as he rolled his eyes, his voice trailing in an annoyed tone. "Then there's you. You're the ace if you haven't realized already dude. What I'm going to ask of you is simple, but if done correctly, it'll win this for us alright? Exire has a sheild that's only active when the island is active. Because it's just a floating rock in the ocean, I'm going to need you to go there and wait. And that's it. Think you can do that for me?"

Che had no doubt in his mind that this plan would fail if everything went according to it, but he also knew that he was dealing with a bunch of tweens and teens as well. Inevitably, they'd mess something up and Kate and Anya would be the first two people attempting to deafen him. Stressed wasn't the word to describe Che at the moment...his psyche was disjointed, he didn't notices the plate of fresh food placed down in front of him and his guest. His eyes opened wide, but still, only opened to half-level. When the aroma filled his nose, he inhaled. If one could eat that way, the food would've been gone. Looking up to the waiter, Che smirked and even gave him a quaint "Merci", but when he noticed who it was, his smile faded and his scowl sat into his features. The elder Owl decided not to bother Sebastian or himself with a talk. Instead, he turned him around and pushed him away sighing though the entire motion.

The soles of Roulin's leather Rockports were tapping out a steady and hasty rhythm against the floor of the office. He wasn't getting any younger and neither was Erin. Due to technicalities, this was very untrue for both of them, but said technicalities aren't needed at this moment. The young man's dark purple hues lulled around in their sockets as the telepath gave him a breakdown of why she wouldn't let him take her powers and the means by which she'd prevent him from doing so. He'd heard the same explanation from many people as of lately, and it was the same small speech that only made him want to kill them quicker to shut them up or slower to show that he could bypass their defensive measures. Erin was a teammate though, a fellow Night Owl who was taken under Noel's wing before she had to go and die. He wouldn't be harming her, but his foot only tapped faster thanks to her. He wanted to test her just to see her abilities at work.

"Yeah. I don't want your blood whatever. That'd make my life too easy." The Owl of Grey shook away a few loose strands of his long, jet black hair looked down at the floor. The floor didn't give him his reflection, but he already knew that his features were scrunched impatiently and eagerly. An entire set of powers would become clear to him once this was done. To him, it was like Christmas. Rather than wait until next Saturday for it, he'd revel in the fact that one of his gifts would be arriving early. When the woman went on to diffrentiate him and Lucien, Roulin's impatience seemed to fade. Replacing it was a somewhat smug smirk. Turning an eye up to the girl, he replied, "You're right. I won't turn out like Lucien. Too much brains and not enough spirit...that idiot. Heh, some people won't learn I guess. And by the way Erin, thanks for drawing out the map to Exire. I've learned it in and out..."

"And yeah, I know that. Telepathy isn't....what I thought it was. It is....but it isn't," admitted Roulin as he sat back into the rather hard red chair. At this juncture, he wasn't as bored, but still he was impatient about the matter. When Erin suggested a more physical means to speed this process up for the Life Owl, the male's brow cocked inquisitively. "Physical methods hm?" he asked. "It's up to you Erin. I've always considered myself a more hands on kind of guy anyway..."

Erin said nothing as Roulin dove right into a long and tiresome reprieve of what she had told him. He was definitely not taking her seriously when she said that his organic body wouldn't be able to handle the nanotech that was running through her veins. "You think I haven't noticed how much you've wanted to take either one of my powers? I know much more than you think I might know, Roulin. Let's see how well you think you can use your telepathy. The main rule is, you can't use any of your other abilities besides what you know of telepthy." Erin replied, turning her back on Roulin so she could gather her thoughts for a moment. Clear her mind so to speak. Maybe she should use her blood manipulation on Roulin to see if he could use telepathy to get her to stop controlling him. Maybe she would just to test him.

Roulin wanted a hands-on method? Well, Erin planned to give it to him. She wanted to show him how naiive he was being about the power of telepathy. Closing her eyes again, Erin made sure her mind was clear and her telepathic walls set up around her own subconscious and mind so that Roulin wouldn't be able to penetrate that and bring her down that way. Without turning around, Erin sent the same type of psychic wall that she had used on her sister in their sparring match speeding towards Roulin. If he didn't move, the force would be great enough to send him flying back and hitting the far wall.

Jeannie looked at Lucien and back to Amara, the telepath had gotten her way. "Now Lucien don't pretend that you're angry, you know you wanted it as bad as I did" she said to him. Turning her attention to Amara she smirked. "And you...you simple little girl with all that power...what a ******** waste" she scoffed. The telepath walked up to Amara and stared at her in her eyes. "Please you're a ******** wretch...and a poor excuse for a psychic...miss I have to play the vi--" Jeannie's voice was cut off.

The psion looked at the telepath, with a blank expression. Amara had a telekinetic vice grip on Jeannie's throat. "I'm pathetic...but yet you're the one who's trying to sleep with my man" she said as Amara lifted Jeannie into the air, throwing the telepath into the liquor cabinet. Amara faced Lucien and stared at him with a blank expression, but the look would convey to him that he knew that he really screwed up with her, and not to think that he was off the hook.

Amara then turned around but was met with a fist to the face by Jeannie. The psion fell to the bed, trying to recover from the surprise blow.

Jeannie then jumped on top of Amara, punching her in the face, and pulling on her hair. Focusing her psychic energy, a blade appeared from her arm made from the psychic energy as she stabbed Amara in the chest.

Amara yelped in pain as she not only felt physical but mental pain. "You b***h!!!" she screamed as she telekineticly through Jeannie against the window. Using her telepathic powers she began to suggest Jeannie stab herself in the head with her psychic blade. The blonde telepath put up a fight with Amara but, eventually lost the battle of the mind with Amara. Amara then ran towards Jeannie, applying her telekinesis to her body she began to fly towards her, kicking her in the torso and cracking the window.

Amara then released a series of psi blast into Jeannie's mind, causing her to suffer a severe migraine. A dark purple like aura surrounded her as her eyes went a black color. Touching Jeannie on her face, it charred the left side of Jeannie's face as she yelled out in excruciating pain.

The left side of her face hurt as if she was pushed onto a stove. The telepath grabbed a chair as she broke it over Amara's head, knocking the psion to the floor. She took out a lighter and grabbed a bottle of alcohol as she threw the bottle at Amara and tossed the lighter, attempting to burn the psion, turning her back, she began to laugh. "Dumb b***h" she laughed.

Before the fire could affect her, she pushed it back with a telekinetc wave, allowing the fire and force travel fast towards Jeannie, throwing her through the window, partially on fire and a couple of bones broken. It was luck that was on Jeannie's side that there was a balcony there to catch her.

Looking down at the food that was placed in front of them Dante raised an eyebrow, he hadn't ordered food and hadn't been back long enough for people to start putting things like that together, let alone know he'd be there and order food. He smiled a little and shook his head. "Thank you but I'm not hungry." He wasn't going to deny it the food was tempting and he was sure it was delicious, but he didn't trust food that he didn't order himself, there were many times in his past that he had tried to be poisoned and now with his new mortality he wasn't about to give is second wind a gamble like this.

As he listened to Che's responses he shook his head. "No I haven't had time to watch tv, being dead will do that to you." He said with a smirk. He leaned back in his seat a little as he listened to Che, he understood what Raven's Oracle stipulated, but if it occurred then so be it, she may have had first grabs at the deck if that happened but she would then be the singular target for their entire team, no matter the power one Owl against so many would lose. "I know i haven't lost my touch, this isn't the first war I've ever started, or finished not to sound arrogant but we're both tactical geniuses there's no doubt that we'd be good about this." He laughed a little, playing with the fork on the table he spun it around in his fingers. "The herald's as a single unit? Good, very good. Wait? Anderson's holding his own against Moli and Anya? Will I always knew he would be great he was a bright child, and managed to not only live but thrive without a father for so many years. I must say as a father I'm brimming with pride." he said with another broad smile. He tapped the fork on the table making a soft chiming noise.

"The telepaths will be safe, you have more than enough Owls to ensure that they are taken care of while they work their magic." He looked up at Che once he mentioned his role in this. "You need me to bypass the island's security? Huh back from the grave and already I'm thrown back into the very mess that killed me the first time. Fine I'll do it, After all what kind of example would I be setting if I didn't play some kind of role in all this. Not a problem there isn't a fortress or wall I can't bypass." He spun the fork again quickly in his hand. "So what about you? What will you and the others be doing during this massive onslaught?"

As the psychic back and forth between the two psions continued Lucien stood stoic as usual. He stared as Amara proved her might over the other, while her look bothered him he had nothing to prove, nothing to be sorry for he had been tricked by Jeannie, he had refused her when he thought she was her, but accepted her when he thought she was Amara. As Jeannie was thrown from the window in a hell storm of fire he stood where he was. He knew that now that the fight was over one of two things would happen. Amara would turn her rage towards him and he would have to calm her down, or she would storm from the room in a furious rage, neither were good but there was no clean way out of this situation. He stood collecting his thoughts for a moment. He looked towards the shattered liquor cabinet. Raising his hand he manipulated the glass structurally he pieces it back together simultaneously using his energy manipulation to mold the glass back into a panel, he didn't want anyone stepping on it after all.

"I---I don't---fine. Whatever." The Owl of Grey rolled his eyes in boredom after Erin gave him another brief lecture followed by a challenge rather daunting by even Roulin's standards. His brow cocked with inquisition, but his features folded into a distinct frown. Like his father and brother and possibly every other male of his family, the Italian liked a good gamble and a good challenge every now and then, but this wasn't something he knew he'd win easily. Erin, his teacher was beginning to remind him of the teacher he had only days before he was taken in by Dante. He didn't like that lady very much...

"Goddamn it. I don't want your powers...I just want to learn what I have to learn and go!" barked Roulin as the telepath before him closed her eyes and focused. Still on she pressed blocking out both him, his words and whatever mental influence he could've placed up against her. She immobilized his body with her blood manipulation, but even then, Roulin could still very well move albeit with little to no coherence. Since it was requested that he not use his telekinesis, he kept himself from cheating the challenge. "Alright. If that's how you want it...and I just wanted to sit back and watch Jeannie get beaten by Amara..." As defense, he fended off Erin's attack with a psychic wall of his own. It wasn't fueled by focus as Erin's was. It was fueled by emotions and thoughts. None were akin to rage, but just the chaotic nuances that had been filling him as of recently. Stuck in his sitting position, he looked up at Erin who had her eyes closed still. If he could free his body, he'd teleport away from the area until the skills he needed were within him.

The dark haired bum could decide to tell his guest whether or not he should keep the food and give it to him, or keep the food and try it. The man, Sebastian, had never met the grizzled man sitting before Che and likewise for the old vet. There was reason why he doubted that his food was 'clean', but Che could vouch for the butler...somewhat. "The food is fine. Trust me, it is," assured the Mastering Owl as he took a fork and knife to his. It was obvious from whom this request this was made. Che hadn't ordered and the waiter was none other than the butler of butlers. Will of course was near, but thanks to all the Owls that were in the area, it was hard to point out the devil's sinful aura among the others. "Well, we may have company soon. Depends on if I'm seen or not. Remain calm...it's not people asking for autographs like it was centuries ago."

"Yeah, your kid has done well for himself. I put him on a team with Cecilia and together, they fought against Moli and Anya. Moli and Anya won, but barely. Barely...." For that fight, the surprise factor for Che was that Cecilia took down her weakness without being too injured. That meant she was learning. If not that, then Moli simply underestimated her. The week after next would give him proof. "Yes, the telepaths. They've got this in the bag. Silent...fast...never even see them co---well, Exire may have professional sensors everywhere. Moli can pick them off though. No worries. And where will I be you ask? I'll be fighting. Praying more, but fighting as hard as I can."

Jeannie lay down on the balcony, rolling to extinguish the fire. She breathed heavily as the pain of a couple of broken bones and exhaustion took over her, but she wouldn't give up this easily. She stood up, she knew exactly how to make Amara suffer.

Amara looked as Lucien picked up the glass. He wasn't of any concern to her right now, right now she had her heart set on Jeannie...and would deal with him when the time arose. Going through the window and onto the ledge, she saw Jeannie. Throwing a few punches towards Jeannie, she threw her to the side with her telekinesis.

Jeannie ran towards Amara, kicking her in the stomach, she grabbed Amara by the head. "You really think you're the only psychic powerhouse here? Guess again hoe" she said as she peered into her eyes. Jeannie was performing the penance stare, a telepathic ability, forcing a victim to endure all the pain and suffering they have inflicted throughout their lifetime. "Let's see how miss perfect copes with feeling the pain of millions of people she has killed" she said with a laugh.

Gazing into the eyes of Jeannie, Amara began to see visions of every killing she had ever committed over her life. She then began to hear the screams and cries of innocent people and even some of the guilty. Her head was pounding as tears began to form in her eyes, and then the pain shot into her body began to react. Cuts and burns were forming on Amara as she was thrown from the balcony, falling down a few flights, she couldn't even utilize her telekinesis, the pain was unbearable. Extending her hand she was able to grab on to another balcony but not fully able to pull herself up.

Jeannie smirked. She wasn't done yet. She then began to scale down the balcony, as she attempted to follow up on Amara, she would kill her and Lucien and baby Aiden would be wall hers.

Solaris Beauty
The Colonel listened to Moli as he talked the young man was impressive with what he was saying. "Well Aeon it seems that you bagged yourself someone really impressive. I don't know much about that science stuff but if that's what Molly here is doing I can't blame you staying with him" he said with a hearty laugh. The soups began to come to the table and the Colonel began to eat his soup.

Janet thanked the waiter and took a drink of her wine and began to eat her potato soup. "This is lovely isn't it Aeon dear?" she asked. Aeon nodded her head in silence. Janet then took another sip before speaking. "Well since Moli has such a nice job, what are you doing Aeon...since you didn't finish school, and you never really answered us why did you stop going to school?" she asked. "I know Moli didn't sale you a dream of having the perfect life, and you were so close to graduating dear. You know how much we value education in this family" she said to her daughter with a worried expression on her face.

Aeon began to start on her soup, trying to enjoy the food in this uncomfortable situation. Her parents kept pushing the same question over and over and over, Aeon thought she would die if she heard the question one more time. It was very sweet of her light herald boyfriend to make up that story and she was fairly impressed that he would lie for her in that manner...but Aeon's heart was burdened with guilt. "Moli...thank you" she said reaching for his hand and squeezing it.

Aeon took a sip of wine before speaking. "Mom, Daddy...I have something to tell you." she said to them. "And no I'm not pregnant or anything like that, but Moli is somewhat one reason I didn't finish school...but the main reason is...well it was for my safety....you see...I'm....I'm...well...I'm what some people would call...gosh I don't know how to say this" she said finishing off her first glass. As if it was some magic elixir, the projector spoke once more.

"I'm an OWL...." she trailed off. "Moli was the one who told me about my abilities, all of this time I thought that I was a normal girl...but he explained to me --"

"--WHAT THE HELL YOU TOLD MY DAUGHTER SHE WAS ONE OF THOSE FREAKS?!?! The Colonel exclaimed. He was enraged as to the reason why his daughter had dropped out. "Aeon you are normal, we've raised you almost your whole life, you're our little girl...you can't be...you can't be one of those abominations" he said to his daughter. Aeon looked down into her soup bowl trying not to make eye contact. The Colonel finished his soup, now a beat red color. "See Janet I told you sending her off was a bad idea...but you just had to let her gain her independence, nothing was wrong with the local university in our city" he told her. "A ******** OWL...what in the hell is the world coming to?" he asked himself in a murmur.

"Well Colonel....I can explain...." the blonde stammered out after Aeon's father shouted. His light blue eyes wandered over to Aeon who was sweet enough to reveal that to her father, but naive enough to not go along with the lie until a later date or a less populated area. "She...is an Owl you know? Like, she has powers and other nifty things! Now, I will take responsibility for her dropping out of college, but at least know she knows herself right? I think that counts for something. Right?" Wasting no time, Moli poured himself another glass of wine and took it down just as fast. If things were going to go how he expected them to, then tonight would be a long night. A long, loud, annoying night.

"Does it matter if she's an Owl? I mean, think about it. If she's one, then someone else in your bloodline is one. It's not a random thing you know? So...let's try to calm down and enjoy our evening please, okay?" Out of the three Presidiomnis, Moli was obviously the more calmer, peacekeeping one. The way the Colonel spoke about the Other Worldly Lives made Moli thank God that Che nor Roulin were around. As for Dante, he wasn't sure if he'd take this sitting down as well.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 7:40 pm

The Colonel looked at Moli as he spoke. "Does it matter?!?!? Because of OWLS this country is the way it is now...I've heard about that...what's that place Janet? Oh yea...New Exhire or some crap like that...why in the hell...I mean...they claim to be the one's who want to a peaceful existence but they're taking this country by force...makes me sick...damn near the whole north east is OWL territory" he said. Soon the main course was brought out.

"We had no idea Aeon...are you sure you are an OWL? And if you are, have you tried not being an OWL? I mean we raised you to be normal" Janet said as she began to break the shell of the lobster. She was more "tactful" than her husband but was just as ignorant. "So you knew Moli? That she was an OWL? Are you an OWL? Did you make her partake in this lifestyle...I mean I'm not trying to be rude...but I'm concerned about my daughter, she doesn't need to live a life as dangerous as that" she said taking a sip of her wine. The whole time Aeon was silent listening to the bumbling ignorance that was pouring from her parents' mouths as of right now.

"Company? Well that will be quite the treat. Though I'm not quite ready to announce myself just yet. Big surprises and all that, you know me I was always one for the dramatics." He raised his hand up swiping it across his face a black mask appeared over his face, two green plated eye holes covered his eyes, the hood still hid his blonde hair from the rest of the world. "I know a bit dramatic, but remember who you're talking to here." He said as he looked towards the mysterious waiter and then back down at the food. His mask only covered the top half of his face so he had no problem eating. he sighed and smiled then shook his head. "Alright I'll eat." He flipped his fork around and began eating. He looked up at Che again from his food as he spoke. "He had good genes I suppose. Though his mother wasn't an Owl. I suppose he's using the two gifts I gave him. That old sword and that infernal spirit. I should really teach him how to use those properly, who knows once this is over maybe I will." As he took another bite of the food which had so mysteriously been brought to them he looked back up at Che, "Moli huh, well then he'll be invaluable. As for you, fight and pray all you want. Pray for success or at the very least pray that we don't fail. If we do there won't be anything left to stop Raven. One final hurrah and that will be it. Once this is over I'm afraid you and i will have to retire so to speak, our endless lives are over and we must let the next generation flourish. We've done our jobs, we gave them advice, and all that the world can offer now it's up to them to rule the world, well so to speak."

As Amara followed Jeannie out the window Lucien walked towards the balcony. He looked out it as Jeannie and Amara continued their struggle, Lucien was beginning to wonder why it was taking so long. He leapt out the window walking on the air using his telekinesis he walked down towards them. He folded his arms across his chest as he stopped in mid air, staring down at them. Small glimmers of wire could be seen around his body as the sun's light occasionally reflected off of them. As Amara took a turn for the worst and fell from the balcony only to narrowly grab onto it he shot forward. flicking his wrist outward he slashed the balcony they were on in half as he did so he flew down towards Amara, grabbing a hold of her he instantly sprouted a pair of black feathered wings and flew up higher in the air, flapping his powerful wings a few times to keep them afloat. he stared at the now hideously disfigured Jeannie, holding Amara he could feel the blood from some of her injuries. He still had nothing to say, if there relationship wasn't complicated before it sure as hell was now. He blinked and shook his head at Jeannie. "You were once someone who garnered respect from me, but now I see what the others had all this time. The ugliness of your pettiness and jealously is now reflected onto your skin. Goodbye Jeannie say hello to your family for me." He let go of Amara with one of his hands. He raised the open palm up towards Jeannie's level as an electrical current shot in between his fingertips, he was preparing to end this.

Erin smiled slightly. Good. At least Roulin knew how to protect himself with a shield. However, Roulin's train of thought about teleporting away worried her. "You don't need to teleport. You have all the power you need right in your own mind. You just have to learn to use it." Erin said aloud. If he really wanted to learn telepathy, he shouldn't run away from it. He had to stand up to it and figure out how to use the power he already possessed. Though, if he was just running his telepathy off of pure emotion and reflex like he did with the shield just now, then he would get nowhere. Well, he would only be able to go so far in a battle. Especially against a fighter like Raven or the higher ups in the Fallen Pheonix ranks. Erin released her hold on Roulin's body in terms of her blood manipulation. "Now, see what else you can do with your mind." Erin stated as she began to send pressure waves into Roulin's subconscious, trying to make it more difficult for him to concentrate. The pressure would only increase from there and not alleviate until the Life Owl did something to stop it. Most basic telepathy skills were based off of concentration. If he could learn to manage that aspect, he could do multiple things with that concentration later. Once he had that down, Erin could try teaching him some of the skills she had learned from Evelynn.

Since everyone else was busy during their training weeks in Las Vegas, Kate had her own things to do. Like checking in on the Forbidden Door and the status of the Eternity Realm. Besides, Che and everyone else was busy training, and Kate didn't really feel like playing any more games at Will's casino. There were those rare times that Kate just sat and read a book too. However, she did indulge herself in a little bit of training herself. Though, she didn't use a sparring partner. These little training sessions of hers were also used to check up on the Eternity Realm by interrogating the spirits she summoned. Today she had wanted to wander the streets of Las Vegas somewhat on her own. She planned to get something to eat and then wander around until she felt like going back to her room. She found a place to grab something to eat, sat down, and ordered something. While the waitress went off to fetch the order, Kate stared out the window at the people walking the Vegas streets, unbeknownst of what was happening in their world and gambling their savings away.

The Eternity Owl became lost in thought then. But wasn't in that state too long because she soon went to checking up on where the other members of her group were. Not that she really cared what they were up to, Kate was just bored and was doing something while she was waiting. It wasn't until a few seconds later when she located Che that Kate located an aura that she hadn't noticed before. Kate jolted up out of her chair, knocking it backwards to the floor, scaring the living daylights out of the other people and the waitress who was bringing her food over with the sound and sudden motion. Cursing once loudly in Russian, Kate then stormed out of the restaurant, leaving the poor waitress to stare after her in disbelief and bewilderment.

What was Che doing?! Was he trying to destroy everything that she was trying to protect? Did he still not understand the consequences of bringing the dead back to life were? She had explained it several times to the Mastering Owl, but it appeared every time Kate had done so, it fell on deaf ears. This was yet another failure in Kate's eyes. Everything she had done in her life had failed and now it was happening again. She had failed to keep her family life from falling apart; she had failed to be what her mother wanted her to be; she had failed as a soldier to her country. She had even failed to do her job: protecting the Eternity Realm and the Forbidden Door. Now this?! It was more than Kate could stand

When she found the place where Che and Dante were meeting, Kate stopped outside the door, debating whether or not she should go in there and give both Dante and Che a piece of her mind. Curling her hands into fists, Kate stood there for a moment or two before heading into the eating establishment where the two men were sitting. Instead of going over to them, the Eternity Owl approached a waitress and asked for a piece of paper and a pen. Kate took the offered items and began writing out a note: Che, we need to talk. --Kate was all the it said. When finished writing, she asked the waitress to drop it off at Che's table before promptly leaving the diner without a second look back in Che and Dante's direction.

Johan was alive. He had come out of his last stand against Roulin only barely. He had lost one arm, part of one leg, and had horrible scarring across the left side of his face now. He now had titanium prosthetics to replace both of those lost limbs. Both of the replacements looked very much like regular arms, and similar in structure and wiring to Luca Baulder's metallic arm, so they were just harder to break. But Johan was indeed alive. The surgeries and physical therapies he had gone through up until this point had been excruciatingly painful and laborious. However, Johan knew he had to push through it if he wanted to continue as part of the UNS. Besides, he still had his daughter to deal with as well. He had no idea she was now the Herald of Earth, but he still had her execution in mind. Of course, there was also a new grudge Johan held for Roulin. He had noticed that the young Life Owl had managed to escape the blast at the last moment, and that pissed him off, for lack of a better phrase. Now he had two good reasons why he wanted to stay with the UNS. Unlike most of the other members, Thomas had not fired Johan. Maybe it was because the new Wind Herald knew that the Mirroring Owl was still a very useful pawn in his game of conquest. But whatever the reason, all Johan cared about at this point was getting to his daughter. The best way he could do that was to stay with the UNS. If Anya was now working with the Night Owls, the UNS was bound to come across them indefinitely. As such, Johan stayed with the UNS.

Anya was taking a break from all the training she had been doing in the past week or so. It was a well-deserved break too. She had just taken a shower and put on some clean clothes after taking a quick few laps in the pool downstairs. With her hair hanging down past her shoulders, Anya picked up the mp3 player Nik had gotten for her and, was about to put the head phones over her ears when the sound of something heavy hitting the balcony outside caught her attention. "What the hell was that?" Anya said aloud before hurrying to look out towards the balcony. What she saw surprised her. Amara and Jeannie were fighting each other. Even though Anya had no idea why the two girls were fighting, the Earth Herald knew she had to do something. Especially when she saw Amara fall over the edge of the balcony. "Amara!" Anya cried out as she rushed to get out onto the balcony. Instinctively, the Poison Owl had an attack ready for Jeannie: a spray of acid. Once outside, Anya shot her right arm forward, aiming the acid for Jeannie.

Nikolai tapped his foot lightly, laying on the bed in his and Anya's room. He was listening to music as usual, and resting after a long couple of days of training. Anya had insisted that he stick around and train, so he did just that. It wasn't like it wasn't a good workout and didn't help him, he just disliked training and sparring. He figured out a new way to use his powers while training on his own; he could turn his shadows into a sort of dark mist. He hadn't really seen what it could do, but he already knew that in even minimal light, the shadows would dissipate even quicker than normal. Nik formed a few baseball sized balls of shadow and juggled them, more to give his hands something to do than anything. He looked up and smiled at Anya as she stepped out of the shower, continuing to juggle until he heard the commotion outside. He quickly swung his legs over the side of the bed and got up, Anya was quicker on the draw, but only because she noticed first. Mid juggle, as he saw Anya's attack, he threw a shadow ball and intercepted Anya's acid, before grabbing her and pulling her back inside. "As much as I'd love to fight, this seems like it's personal and just between them. If things get too heavy, then we can intervene. For now, let's just stay out of it." Nik was prepared to argue with Anya, since he really didn't think it was any of their business at the moment, and he'd rather avoid a (cat)fight wherever possible.

((Will - I shall leave Sebastian's response to Che and Dante to Hakachu, if he has a response.))

Will just smiled an innocent smile, which was momentarily hidden as a towel ambushed his head thanks to Serena. She was in a foul mood, but he'd make it up to her. He chuckled as she storm stalked out the bathroom door to the bedroom and then to the closet, which held clothes that Will had prepared for Serena for her stay. She had plenty to choose from of course. As Serena prepared herself, Will went to change himself.

Cerbs stopped rolling for a moment and then grinned at Serena. He licked her once and then lay down on the bed and then stayed relatively still before someone reentered the room. Not to his dismay, Will returned to his now Serena's bedroom, and found that she was done before he was. The devil was in a tuxedo/dinner suit, which somehow unintentionally complemented Serena's evening gown well. "Ah, looking beautiful this evening... as usual."

The pair would be going to a certain French restaurant and would be getting a private room. Will put an arm around Serena and led her out of the penthouse and so on.....They arrived at the restaurant soon enough and were led into a private room. "Before we eat, I'd like you to meet someone. My student." The Satan Owl knew where Che and Dante were, and they would be going to meet the two brothers soon....or rather, the two would be called by Sebastian to the room Serena and Will were in.
