Thing is, the schools here are arranged slightly different than the ones in the U.S, time wise.
We start school earlier than most schools in the U.S., but we also take finals and end school pretty early, so our summer vacation starts earlier.
Though in the college I'm going to it's set by trimesters, which is three semesters a year, while most are only set in the two semester per year norm, so I take classes even in days that are normally off. Yep~
California public
schools are weird though~
we always start
and end later than everyone else. ^^"
I guess thats because we never
have snow days or storm days
like students do in other parts of
the country.

Via's Color Guard reminds me of my time in the Civil Air Patrol.
I used to be the Guidon bearer for my own unit, and was pretty good at it. It got tiring carrying that huge flag around though. ><;
I practiced a Color Guard routine with weapons once. I did pretty good, considering it was my first time. o3o

15-year-olds are still kiddies. Sorry if that offends someone, but it's true, and you'll agree with me when you're older. I promise that.
+they're probably not interested in studying as much as thinking about what to wear to school/who to talk with/who to ignore/how to make that cute guy notice them.
I'll just try to ignore everyone and not go there as much as possible. D:

Ya know, yesterday, my sisters ate all the chocolate. ; o;
Didn't even call me downstairs! But yah, I stole their funions (sp?).
First~
we have a week
of half-day sessions at the school~
At the end of each day,
they hold these drill-offs. @___@
Its insane!
The Color Guard never needs
to learn most of the calls,
so we usually have to bluff our way along.
[We're always in the back for the drill-offs though,
so its okay. xD]
Then we have five days at Cal Poly Pomona,
which is like HELL. Seriously, its always so hot there.
We work from 8 am- 12pm, get lunch,
work from 1 pm- 5pm, get dinner, work from 6 pm
'til its too dark to see, and then usually do fun stuff/
have free time.
That X 5= dead. ^^"

I was exactly like that when I was 15, and so was/is everyone I know personally.
