I finally found the perfect items to complete my Doctor Strange avi cosplay, and I'm almost done with it!! Now all I have left is to work on the real life one for myself... sweatdrop *Proceeds to procrastinate for another 6 months*

Yeah, that shining horn of badness gives nothing.
Sycas are better, like way better.

The surprise bags are the only way to get the watermeat kin atm, though.
(Unless you wanna spend 1T+ on the market, that is; some users are hoping for the kin itself to come to alchemy instead of just the bags, but a lot of us figure he'll be their next cash cow kin.)
His damage output is said to be top among all kin at level 50.

This is the bag I'm talking about.
Only the watermeat will drop it, and I've read the drop rate is between 25 to 40 percent upon win.
(I'd likely estimate chances to be closer to one in three, because that's a nice probability near the middle of the range.)
More information over here if you're interested (and haven't already perused it, I'm not sure how much time you spend in the LK forums ^^; ), including stats on the watermeat kin.

Sycas hit for 600 max right?
Watermeat's health is 601. he gets poisoned and he's out.

I've no idea what they hit for, but certainly not as hard as the watermeat boss, from what I've read.
The watermeat kin has the highest damage of all kins right now, if I've read right.
He's better than Oats on the attack front (almost three hundred more attack) and their health is about the same, which makes him a more than viable tree killer.

Alright. Well here's what I have.
Even though he can hit harder, Phantom sycas have around a max hp of 7000. Phantom sycas do around 600 damage, max. Oats can last a bit and take a health pot.
When I was deciding kins I had a toss up of getting the cheaper kin that upped attack but kept health, or slightly more expensive one that doubled my health, I took the Sakura because I knew that I could kill sycas more reliably with it, as it had a greater margin to heal.
Sakuras may have a lower damage, but they have above 1200 health.
Hitting like a truck doesn't do much if you have the chance to be taken out immediately.
The reason why Oats is good is because it is cheap. Watermeat has a massive paywall that turns out to be hiding a stronger Oats with less health.

I'm certainly not saying switch since you've already got a level 50 sakura.
Stating facts about the kin itself, that's all.
Hitting like a truck can be better to some people, because it would greatly speed up the rate at which trees go down, even if it can one hit KO-ed.
And it's possible to get a watermeat for free, technically.
I'm just not interested in grinding it out against something that will more than likely one shot me.
And I'm certainly not about to go buying one, 1) I've nowhere near the resources for that, 2) I'd never pay so much for something, anyway.
I just think that if I end up with enough cows to try my hand at some surprise bags via alchemy, I've not got much to lose in doing so, because at least it would get the stupid things out of my inventory, they're interfering with gameplay at this point...

I do desperately want to get an ember the spirited fox.
They're so cute. I like cute things.
I just need to sit down and grind in the temple at some point.
(I know, their drop rate is dismal, but I'd take free over paying any day! Miserly tendencies at their finest, I suppose.)
