Aleta just stood there, blank and serious. "I don't think I can do this without assistance..."
"Why does everyone keep shattering into freaking crystels? This is so wierd, I mean they all go like, poof! And they're gone!" He shuffled around the cave, "Now... I think there's supposed to be another monster or a demon up here... yeah, a demon... man, I have some questions about this place, when I find Duri-" he was interrupted, "Rafeal!"
His body looked like fractured china for a moment, "Wha- hey!" Aleta ran to the spot where he once stood. "Rafeal...?" She was all alone, well except for Yumi and Dante who were just standing around, looking neutral and a little bored.
Something was off, she sensed a presance like a demon, but elven at the same time. Zehtriel... she felt it draw nearer until, "Hello Aleta." His voice sounded wierd, like many voices layered on top of eachother. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, she turned around to face the enemy.
For the first time in months she felt... fear. She could already feel herself falling apart. It didn't hurt, it just felt wierd, like being... displaced. She let herself go, I know I cannot face him alone... Aleta did not see his face, and considered herself lucky.
Aleta fell a few feet from the ground, and landed right on top of Rafeal. "Ow!"
"Sorry. You okay?" She rolled away, and sat up.
"Yeah... a little disoriented... where are we?" They were in this wierd secluded glade with glowing gray flowers. Aleta looked through the trees to see a road. "I have no idea..."

((Go git her! She's missing evray thang!)) They contined down their path, which was reminscent of a long spinal cord. A grey ish hue to the path, dust blew with every foot fall.. It was somewhat creepy.. as they got closer to the altar, a cathedral seemed to form around it. Voices whispered into the demon's ears.. cries for help, of pain and anguish... Kagura lowered her head into the back of Duri's neck. Expecting something bad to happen.
"Damn it!" Duri fell to one knee once again, his head throbbing with pain. His eyes became blank, not even an iris on them.
"Master! Master! I'll carry you if you want!" Kagura pleaded, trying to get Duriono back to his feet.
The surrounding area turned into a pitch white hallway, windows showwed shadows of the people fighting. The voices became louder, more pleading.. their cries pounded into Duriono's mind like a jackhammer. He let out a shrill scream for a long moment. Then stayed still, allowing his heart beat to slow down.
Soon he was back on his feet, an open palm on his forehead.
Kagura stared up at him with worried eyes, then clutched Duriono's hand tightly.
"I'll protect you Master!"
"I-" He cut himself off.. thinking for a moment. Then hugged Kagura tightly. "Thanks."

Zephyr's bullet left the chamber, imbedding itself in Key's shoulder, he fell over and cried out in pain.
"Thats it you b*****d!" Brig roared, slamming his fist across Zephyr's face and sent him across the battlefield, the thing is.. Brig was awhile off when Zephyr last dealt with him.
"Augh you annoying abomination!" He yelled, regaining his stance to see a not so muscular looking Brig. His eyes flaming crimson and several pairs of horns protruding from his back, two of which Brig tugged out from their sockets and held in his hands as weapons.
Brig really hated using his demonic form, perferring his normal muscular self over his scrawny, yet swifter and less defensive demonic form. His fangs extended so that they showwed even with a shut mouth.
"You're going straight to hell!"
"Me? Go to hell! That's an unlikly statement demon! Tell you what demon! I'll send you back to your creator, to see exactly what he has to say about that!" Zephyr cackled, flying at Brig once again. The ground lifted up from it's position as the world around them turned into a white space.

((I tried, but she hasn't answered. I want her to have a part in this, and conclude her story with Kyra... she sort of has an oppertunity here... is she online?))
A strange sensation passed over them, the cold prickleing as adreneline leveled off. Safety... they had been in danger. Rafeal knew this feeling was fleeting, and decided to take a break. He sighed, and hugged Aleta.
"I'm happy we're still alive." He loosened his grip, and pulled away slightly, "Who wouldn't be?" and Aleta kissed him. Rafeal pulled away, and smiled, and returned her kiss.

((Nope.. I don't think so -o- We'll just grab her later I guess.)) He released Kagura from his grasp and they began to slowly step down the hallway. The noise level fell. The voises returned to that of whispers, the two approached the end of the hall way, the white hallway gave away to the base of a large cathedral  An ocean of mist was all to be seen off the edges of the pathway, the bottom could not be seen. As they approached the doors, they stopped just outside it. "You know.. we don't really know what's in there.." Duriono said, turning to face her. "...Yeah.. so uhh.. are you ready Master?"

A command list popped up in the corner of Duri's eye with the options 'yes' or 'no'
"Uhh.. Let me just take a whizz really quick." Duriono answered and walked away from Kagura, into a conviniently placed porta potty.
((Hah! No more heroes reference!))
"Done.." Duriono walked out, zipping the fly of his pants then scampered back over to Kagura.
"Master.. I'm pretty sure you won't survive this.. nine thousand percent in fact!" She bowwed with a wide smile!
Oh yeah... that's really conforting.. He frownned lightly.
"But don't worry about that! Just trust your force! Enter through the door and into the garden of madness!" She stepped back, and blew the doors open gently with a soft gust of wind.
"Uhh.. alright then..." He stepped through slowly. ((Fun Fact: I had to take a dump when I posted this :3 and guess how you save in no more heroes? You go into a bathroom and hit A while standing in a large S icon, a censored clip shows Travis sitting down on the toilet. Then the screen fills up with toilet paper rolls, you hit save on one and the next thing you see is him standing up and zipping his fly!))

June finally made it to a cobblestone circle with the iris staring straight at her. Out of breath from her running, she finally found herself on the brink of madness. There was no way out of this, and she hadn't found the demons yet.She clenced her jaw, stepping in front of the eye, the iris watching her movements. Was it alive?
June growled, raising her arms as her axe formed in her hand, the blade black. Yelling as she slammed it down onto the eye with her whole force, the impact sent a pulse outward, almost knocking her off her feet.
It cracked.
Before she could rationally realize it, the individual cobblestones split apart and shattered into crystals, the pathways doing the same. The axe disappeared as she fell into the darkness, the crystals almost suspened in the air despite her own body falling further and further away from them. She reached for them. Why? She didn't know. June wanted them, wanted the safety of standing on something solid. She didn't want to look down.
A hollow burning feeling set in the further she went down, strange black markings decorating her body like flames charring wood. She screamed in agony.

The two stepped into the hollow church hall, long pews against the wall. The floor a bronzed color, the shiny tiles emphasised every step with a hard echoing noise.
Bright light shinned through the window behind the altar. A statue placed just infront of it, depicting a more regal version of June. Chains tied around it's arms, holding them outright. The stainned glass windows along the walls of the cathedral depicted each of the mercenaries along with Lucifer and Sonia, their eyes shut tight.. Brig was in his demonic form. There was a man laying on the ground infront of the statue.. A corpse that had been there for awhile now.
"Hmm?" Duriono crouched down infront of it, and flipped it over. A hollow expression on the body's face, eyes shooting upwards into the twilight colored roof. It was Zephyr, a stab wound in it's stomach.
"What the-" Duriono fell on his a**, Kagura scampered up behind him.
"Whats.. what's wrong Master?"
The room filled with shouts and screams of familiar voices, the mercenary's screaming out in pain and anguish and rage. There was a cackle among the mess, Zephyr's loud laugh. The demons backed up as the corpse slowly stood up, like a rag doll being tugged by the hands.
"Demons.... Angels.. Gods... Saviors.. Devils... Criminals... heroes... equallity.. superiority... poison.. antidote.. Truths.. Lies.." These words boomed louder than everything else.

It seemed June would be falling forever, refusing to move because of the pain it caused her. Tears that fell from her eyes became immediately suspended in the air, leaving a sparkling path from where she fell. By now she couldn't tell where she'd started crying.
Falling headfirst, she forced herself to look toward the ground. Nothing.
The burned tattoos on her body began fading slightly, but the pain remained.
She wanted to find the demons.
That's the only thing she really cared about.
Finally something was somewhat visible to her in the distance, the colors of it reflecting into her eyes.
As she came closer to it, the shape became a little more rigid.
A stained-glass window?
June's fall was momentarily slowed as she crashed through the window, the shards not even touching her skin.

The statue turned into fragments of light, dispersing as June crashed in through the window. The demons shielded themselves from the glass flying all over the place, the screams ceased as the corpse stood up, a blank expression on it's face. Duri's eyes darted from Zephyr over to June as she hit the ground,
"June! Over here!" He shouted to her, not wanting to move too quickly or take his eyes off of the reanimated corpse for too long. Kagura stood tall, the center row of benches vanished into stardust.
"Pitiful creatures... running about the world wreaking havoc among the mortal man.. you treat them all like your allies.." The corpse began to speak slowly, hunched over slowly. Duriono pulled out his twin revolvers, pointing at the carpace and firing quickly, the body jolted slightly, a bullet implanted in its head.
A loud cackle filled the area.
"You truly are a demon! Attacking anything you don't understand! You live to kill, not even taking a purpose!"
"The hell are you dammit!" He shot afew more times, until he needed to reload. The body jolted in reaction but always returned to its previous stance, creeping closer and closer.. The patterns on the windows began to move, detailling the battle going on in Guardian's fort.
"Just look at them! Look at them fight against the inevitable! They fight for you gatekeeper! You poisoned their souls with your false friendships! Your lies and fake promises! They fight against evolution! They fight against human superiority!"
"Master!" Kagura screammed, "What's going on!?" She held her head, and clutched onto Duriono's side.
"Child.. you need not worry.. All you need to do is to betray this hellspawn and his group of heathans.. you shall be apart of the new world.. after all, you were the first one of the evolved humans... you were just tainted by that b***h of a mother of yours!" He slipped forward into Kagura's face, hissing. Kagura fell back, crawlling backwards. Duriono swung at Zephyr's head with his broadsword, he fell backwards, black widows seeping from the wound. Seeing this, Kagura stood tall once again, drawing her tonfa.

June rubbed her head as she sat up, the solid ground below her an comforting feeling. She looked over at Duri, eyes widening and a smile corssing her face before the bullets froze her in place. She looked at the corpse thing, twitching
"What the hell is that?" She said. It seemed no one heard her. She spoke again, but realized her voice was breathless and not emmitting any sound.
Crap.
Getting to her feet, she walked over to the group, the strain on her body with each step barely bearable. what happened to her that made her body feel so weak? Her axe formed in her hand, the head still black metal.
Stepping forward again, her grip tightened on the axe.
June had three shadows stretching out behind her

"Pupupupupupu..." Zephyr chuckled, his limp head raised towards the sky, long hair falling to the center of his back, he drew his long sword, gripping it tightly and pointed at Duriono and Kagura. He held his broadsword out infront tightly, and Kagura hopped from one foot to the other, twirling her tonfa.
"June, stay out of the way if you're hurt." He said, passing a glance back behind him. He didn't see the multitude of shadows behind her, only focusing on her face for the moment.
"Don't worry about her.. in fact I'll love to see the look on her face when she sees me purifying this world of the devil!" A snakish grin formed, as he gently lifted up into the air without the aid of wings. Just hovering above the ground gently.
"b*****d doesn't know when to shut up.. " He spat back. Kagura looked around, waiting for the battle to begin. She wouldn't attack unless Duriono gave the command.
((*runs off to grab a cookie then returns to finish his post*))
"Oh what's that pitiful demon? Do your ears burn at the voice of the savior? Does it fill you with a demonic rage!? You should already know by now.. You can't possibly hope to win this fight... for I am the messiah!"
"Messiah? You're nothing more than a maverick! A man who's gone rogue and see's himself as the god! You're no god! You're just a mortal man!" Kagura surprisingly snapped back, stepping forward, fangs drawn.
"Watch your tougne child!" He swung at Kagura, who slid back and awaited Duriono's approval.
"This is it Zephyr! Your story ends here!" He roared, and they all dashed at eachother.

June hestitated, her axe tapping the ground a few times before she ran forward and joined in the skirmish.
Was this world even real?

Zephyr swung wide with quick speed, Kagura crouched under and Duriono parried with his broadsword, allowing Kagura to dig in an plant a few good hits on Zephyr, sending him backwards only to rebound and swing down upon Kagura. She leapped out of the way and disengaged her target waiting for a better opprotunity to attack. Duriono began swinging furiously with his broadsword, slightly slower than one of his katana swings. Zephyr began to defend himself from these, then deflected a key strike and tug out a revolver on Duriono, shooting him in the side.
"Dammit!" He stepped back to heal for a moment. The bullet had dealt a good amount of damage.
"Tremble before the will of man!" Zephyr exclaimmed, shooting several blasts of light at Duriono, causing him to leap aroudn and become acrobatic before he could stop to heal.

June paused, dashing forward and crouching a bit, slamming her shoulder into Zephyr's knees and taking hold of his legs to make him fall face first to the ground. Her three shadows slightly lagged in keeping up with her
