Princess Zelda21 Some of those shrines are tough. I like how you can do the different shrines and guardian dungeons in any order, plus no annoying fairy partner that'll tell you which way to go next! I took a break from the Yiga clan hideout since I couldn't get past the third group of guards in one huge room. They're real annoying to try and distract with bananas. -_-* They are! But It's really neat how you can do some of them in more than one way. My beau and I get inventive for some of the ones we can't seem to get the proper way. I don't think I was supposed to smack the ball over the gap with stasis, but it DID work, which is good news, because I couldn't have carried the ball over like I think I was supposed to. My beau also cheated one of the device shrines, a ball maze one, by flipping the controller over and running the ball over the bottom instead of trying to get it through the maze. (I later did the same shrine the proper way a) to see if it could be done and b) because I play the game on the Switch pad instead of on the telly, so it would have been complicated for me to just flip the whole thing without standing on my head. Which actually has made some of the other device shrines really complicated... My beau says I'm a sight to behold while I'm trying to move the stupid things the right way.) I do sometimes wish they gave me a smidge more guidance than just "Eh, these places over here" because I'm afraid I'm totally going to end up diving headlong into something I can't yet handle. Like the major tests of strength I found... I destroyed most of my weapons and half my bows (and died three times) trying to complete them. (Though I guess the goods news is that I did complete them, so maybe they're all made so you CAN complete them whenever even though it'll be super hard? I'm not sure yet... Except for Lynels. Of which I've accidentally found three. They hand my bum to me on a silver platter if I even so much as glance at them...) I can only imagine how hard it'll be for me. I know at one point in there my beau couldn't get a guy to look over at the bananas he set out so I told him to just put them where he wanted the guard to end up and whistle to get his attention. Whistling is sometimes a good tactical solution to getting enemy attention without letting them alert an entire mob. >>; It's weirder now that I have a horse, of course, because if my horse is actually within range it'll come running over, or else it'll give me a message about my horse not being close enough, but hey, it still works, I will use everything available to me to any possible advantage.

Is it possible to re-obtain Epona through randomly using Zelda Amiibo after losing her once? I accidentally had Link ride Epona off a cliff near a large rocky outcropping and the mare was gone.

I accidentally had Link ride Epona off a cliff near a large rocky outcropping and the mare was gone. We don't own any of the Amiibo for Breath of the Wild (or if any of the Zelda Amiibo we do own work with it, I've not used them), I didn't even know true Epona was a thing in this one... I'd like to say if she was registered at the stables, you can just go back to any of them and ask for her (even if it says the horse is taken out already, they'll bring her out to you, I use this so I don't have to actually go back to places that I physically left my horse if I wandered relatively far away). If she wasn't registered or they don't list her, though, I'm not quite sure, I've no experience with it and would have to just Google it and see if anyone else had anything to say on it. ^^;

I'm going to test my theory of whether or not if it's possible to re-obtain Link's trusty mare using my collection of Zelda Amiibo over time to see what happens. ^_^*

I was speaking with a GameStop employee yesterday (We went in to see if they had Switch cases in yet. They don't. Ugh.), and she said she thinks you can randomly get Epona again through the Amiibo if you didn't have her registered. So you have to play a game of chance and hope to get lucky again, but it ought to be possible. ^^;

Guess my odds of getting her back are slim to none, but I still want to test my theory anyhow no matter how long it takes! Filling in the map is one thing, but man I wish there was room for more horses at the stable. They're all so neat looking with the various colors and patterns! ^_^*

Then all you have to do is ask them to bring her out! Even if they say she's out, it doesn't matter, they'll bring her to you. I'm not certain if, since you'll already technically have one Epona in the game, the Amiibo will let you create a second one, I mean, it might, but that doesn't really seem like something that should be possible...

Ended up accidentally killing Epona by falling off a cliff and she disappeared. Haven't tested if I could get her back or not yet with the Amiibo.

Ended up accidentally killing Epona by falling off a cliff and she disappeared. Haven't tested if I could get her back or not yet with the Amiibo. Wow, I didn't even know it was possible to kill a horse. Both my horses stop me before I can manage to do anything too daft, usually, which is good for me, I'm not always very observant. I suppose I'll have to try to remember to be more careful once I start in finding and catching those legendary horses. (Though that may yet be a ways off. I can't even catch a single color blue pony, so I doubt I have any chance at anything legendary. =w=; )

Looks like my theory was confirmed. I can re-obtain Epona after losing her multiple times despite being registered at the stables, with the Smash Bros. Link Amiibo. I just tested it out, and it works. ^_^*
