Torturous Ambitions[Full 1x1]

As she drifted down to the ground with the parachute she was heading straight towards the now burning fields, she didn't want to land in the fields and then have the parachute catch fire. She undid the parachute harness and drop down when she was at least ten from the ground.. She landed onto her hands and feet. She stood up a bit shaky, feeling the heat rush around her she grew scared, not knowing where to go now.

The flames danced lighting the fields and everything in sight, embers lingered in the sky while black smoke rose and poisoned the air, fire trucks could be heard a short distance off as people soon found the streets and walked back home or called on their cellphones.
A hazy figure lingered in the fire, a red glow came from it and as it stepped into the light it's red hair showed along with red eyes.
A white bandage hung off the figures arm and as it stepped into the light revealing it's fangs it revealed it's presence, Akuro.
His nose sniffed the area and he followed it until he found Lilith where he stopped in front of her.

Lilith coughed from the smoke, covering her mouth. The heat of the flames cause her to get dizzy, and breath harder, coughing more. She just stood frozen standing in the field as it burned, she felt trapped. She closed her ears to block out the roar of the fire and she began to cry, closig her eyes. She opened her eyes a moment and saw that Akuro stood infront of her. "Akuro.." she ran and hugged him, burrying her face in his chest, her body trembling lightly from the fear of the fire.

The claws on his hand grew when Lilith touched him and his eye peered down at her as a low growl emitted from him.
The bandages wrapped back around his arm and he took on his more human appearance, he hugged her back petting her hair and slightly pulled away taking her hand and walking out the wheat field toward the office. Keeping silent.

Lilith had found the growl a bit calming, as strange as it seemed. Tears stopped running down her face when he had pet her hair. She held to his hand tightly, her ears lowered against her head as they walked out the wheat field. She couldn't help but cough a bit more, she had breathed a good amount of smoke and was getting it out of her system.

He glanced back at her as she coughed but turned back around and continued walking, eventually he made it to the office and opened the door, the woman was glancing out the window towards the flames.
"The cold flame, guess the rumors were true"
Akuro release Lilith's hand and closed the door.
"My pay," he said looking at her.
She motioned him closer and he walked towards her.
"Come on Lilith."

[I apologize for the short post crying ]

Lilith followed on behind Akuro, her expression somewhat timid"Coming". She walked close to him, her tail dragged slightly behind her.

Akuro stopped at the desk and took the envelope the woman handed to him, he opened it and counted the money with his eyes, he turned to Lilith and took a few bills out before holding them out to you.
"Here, you've earned this, you didn't do a good job but it wasn't horrid."
The woman looked past her to Lilith.
"Who's this?" she asked.
"My sla-," Akuro said but stopped, he would have to deal with the higher ups if they found out who Lilith really was. "My partner, yes, that's who she is."
The woman raised a brow but returned to her computer, with that Akuro turned and walked towards the exit.
