Leora took a deep breath before she entered the chapel, looking around for her friends as her sister got ready to be the flower girl and her mother held her train while her father prepared to escort her up the isle. I can't do this . . . she thought, really freaking out now, just doing her best not to hyperventilate.

'Just relax, it will all bee over soon . . .' The same soft voice of Eric contacting Leora telepathy like he had two weeks ago as he looked back at her.
Other than Lance and Eric looking at her, a couple vampire girls could be seen looking at Leora with what clearly could be seen as envy for taking away Lance.
Alice could be seen on the side, riding on cat-Sky's back and smiling at Leora.

Leora sighed and put on her best face, trying to be happy, but finding it hard to do. At the cue, she saw Kailee head up the isle with the flowers and then . . . it was her turn. She took a deep breath and then, placing one foot in front of the other, she walked up the isle towards Lance.

The marriage anthem (I have forgot what it's called sweatdrop ) began playing slowly as Leora began walking up the isle. Lance watched her with his blood red eyes and grinned at her, extending his fangs so that she knew who she was marrying, forcibly or not, and what she was to turn into that night.

Leora's smile faded slightly as she narrowed her eyes at him a bit. She did NOT need the reminder. As they reached the altar, she turned to her father and hugged him tightly as he did the same to her before handing her up to Lance.

Lance pulled her up and let his fangs disappear as he looked at Leora and the priest began the ceremony. He had to admit to himself, she really didn't look all that bad in this dress of hers. But there was still one part of the marriage ceremony that he would probably find very unpleasant. The end. The dreaded words, 'You may now . . .'
(I've really never been to a marriage so I don'y completely know how this all goes . . . )

Leora was doing her best to not hyperventilate. She knew what was coming up and the vows would be happening soon . . . and she absolutely dreaded what would come right after that . . . 'Kiss the bride . . .' it haunted her mind and she tried her best not to fidgit, no matter how nervous she was.

Lance didn't pay much attention to the priest. But when he heard the words," . . . Until death do you part?" He snapped awake but did not so much as flinch before answering, "I do." Then he continued to look at Leora as the priest asked the same thing of her.

Leora took a deep breath. "I . . . I . . ." she stammered, having a hard time getting the words out of her mouth. "I do." she said quickly, knowing that she had just sealed her own fate. Not like she could turn back anyways . . .

"Then with the power invested in me," The priest said as he was bringing the ceremony to a close. "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
No body moved in the chapel when he uttered those words. Everyone only watched the event take place with wide eyes. Lance froze and didn't move for a moment. Then, very slowly, he started to lean his head forward and closer to Leora's . . .

Leora stiffened but closed her eyes as she turned towards Lance, tilting her head up as she waited for the inevitable kiss.

Leora's eyes popped wide open as his lips touched hers before they closed slowly as she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck. God, not even his blood tasted this good . . . She kissed him back, taking in the wonderful feeling of his lips on hers.

Alice made a facce when she saw Leora wrap her arms around Lance's neck in childish disgust.
Lance was surprised himself when he felt Leora's arms around his neck but didn't show it as he gently wrapped his arms around her, to his amazement enjoying the kiss as much as she was.

Leora started to deepen the kiss when she heard a very vocal objection to their prolonged kiss.
Kailee hadn't really liked the idea of them kissing, but when they started getting into it, she couldn't help but let out a rather loud, "Yuck!"
Leora pulled away from the kiss with a genuine laugh, unknowingly keeping her arms around Lance as she did so.
