the hospital

Lena went outside the hospital, Damian still tied up. She just stood there, not saying a word, glaring at Nikolai and his gun.

Damian sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fire when ready then, I guess." he said and looked over Lena's shoulder to watch.

he fired the gun in the air, each shot echoing like thunder. after the last shot he put the gun away. "no matter what happenes, its all by chance..." he sighed
((1= miss, 2= kill 3= wounded, not dead but hit.))

One bullet landed in Veral's kidney, another on her ankle. She yelled out in pain, but fell back asleep from the tranquilizer.

"Damn." Damian muttered under his breath.

Lena didn't have anything to say, she didn't want to say anything to anyone right now. He said it was all by chance, but she couldn't help but think it was his fault.

Nikolai gave a sigh of reliefe. "there, fate wants her to live, but to be wounded. is everyone slightly happy with this?" he asked

Lena dropped her brother and left without saying a word.

Damian got back up and watched his sister leave then looked at the Russian. "Don't worry about her." he assured. "She'll get over it soon." he sighed and looked at his 'mom'. "I guess I'll keep her alive... for now." he murmured.

he sighed. "well, at least nowshe cant hurt anyone. that ankle will be in a cast for about a month, and i'd say that liver is done for...." he said and watched Lena leave. "I still have to talk to her." he sighed and followed her

One of his angel wings shot out and blocked Nikolai. "Whoa! Unless you want your nads ripped off and shoved down your throat, I say you give her some time to cool off." he laughed. "'Course, I wouldn't mind watching that."

he sighed "your right. ill give her a day." he looked at Damian. "are we cool now?"

"Nope." Damian smiled and crossed his arms. "Hey, what did Lena tell you about that had anything to do with our m-Veral?" he asked.

"nothing really." he shrugged "she didnt look like she wanted to talk so i didnt ask"

He nodded. It definitely made sense. "What about our dad?" he asked softly. He really didn't expect Lena to talk about their dad, but ya never know. After all, he didn't expect her to get knocked up by a Russian a year ago!

"not him either. i always thought she never had parents, until i saw her mother." he sighed

"Never had parents?" Damian raised an eyebrow at him then shook his head. "You are definitely not right." he said then looked up at the sky. "All you really need to know is that it was really Veral that killed our dad." he said quietly and folded his wings up. "She just blamed it on Lena for so long, Lena finally believed her."

he looked at the Desert Eagle on the ground, then at Veral. "If thats so...."
