Izunami
The Red Shula

Izunami followed after Z, watching as he sat under a very large tree. The further they seemed to go, the large the trees began to get. It seemed rather interesting, but her attention on the trees soon faltered as he began to speak and then suddenly stopped. "Hmm?" Looking to Z, Izunami gave a smile, and then a soft giggle. He had fallen straight to sleep. "He was more tired than I thought" So sitting down next to him, she brought her knees up to her chest, placed her hands atop her knees and rested her head upon them for a bit. She wasn't yet tired enough to fall asleep, so she watched there surroundings. It seemed quite peaceful here. Smiling, Izunami's eye's began to close and before she knew knew it, she had dozed off as well. Not long after she had tilted over towards Z, her head resting against his arm.

Now the one problem with being a mentalist, or having psionic abilties, is that when you dream your dreams can fliter over to other people. The further someone is in REM sleep, the more their dreams can leak over into other people, espeically if they are dreaming too. So, the unthinkable was about to happen. Izunami was about to experience part of Z's past. Something he never shared with anyone.

In Z's mind, images of his past began to materialize. Dirty streets, foul smells. Gun shots, screams and vicious dogs. All these sounds, smells and sights flashed in his mind. Until they focused on himself. A small boy of only eight, alone and afraid. His eyes wide with fear, his clothes dirty and torn. Rain dripped on him as he sat, curled up in an ally way shivering from the cold.

The only good that came from the rain, it hid his tears from view.

Izunami
The Red Shula

Now deep asleep, Izunami began to dream. But this time her dream was way different than normal. In her dream, she saw a small boy, fear in his eye's. It pained Izunami to see this, and in her sleep she tried her best to reach out to him. But it was when she gazed upon his small frighted form, looking into his tear stained wet face that she noticed something. "Those...eye's..." Just then she realized who it was. "Z..." The dream felt so real, like she was actually there, watching him. Just like when he had passed on his memories to her earlier. Was this more? But how? Leaving that alone, she watched the boy, shivering in the cold.

Z sat there, trying not to cry. His tears unendless as he just sat there with no one next to him. Thats when a loud sound, a crash of something echoed around him. He stopped crying and covered his mouth, trying to stifle any noise he might make. A man started to stumble through the allyway.

"Hey... Hey! s**t for brains! Where'd joo goo?"

He yelled into the darkness. Z was frozen with terror. His little frail frame didnt more, he didnt breath as he waited. But the man didnt leave, he only walked further into the allyway. A woman walked in behind him looking around?

"Who are you calling to? I thought you said there would be good drugs here..."

She said as the man turned and nearly fell over giving the woman a grin.

"Oh dont worry, there is. If I can find the pip squeak..."

Thats when Z tried to run. It was like an impulse that surged through his body. But the man was right there and grabbed him, shook him hard and threw the little boy into a dumpster side. Z cried out in pain.

"S-stop! Please! You dont understand!"

The man laughed alittle as the woman looked at him like he was crazy. But the man simply hit Z, gave him the order to 'do it' and so Z did.

His eyes focused and the woman's eyes dialated. Her brain was on the most powerful acid trip imaginable and so was the man. Both of them were on an unbelivable high from Z's MACs ability. (MAC = Mind Altering Chemical stimulation)

Only because of the fear, their pleasure striken faces soon turned into anguish. The woman was luck, she simply droped dead. Her brain had almost literally exploded inside her skull from the amount of over processing it was doing.

The man, wasnt so lucky. He gripped his head and screamed, this frigtend Z even more.

"Stop yelling! Stop stop stop!"

The pain in Z's head was so intense from the pain in the mans that it was leaking into Z's. Z reached a hand out and made a fist. Suddenly, everything went quite, and dark. Not a sound was made and Z was alone again, two dead bodies lay next to him. To woman who didnt want any of this, and the man's body. Who had been turned inside out and ripped apart.

But the images faded quickly and everything went to a black as the images disappeared. The present day Z's had been sleeping, as if nothing was troubling him. Save for one tear which glistend on his face in the sunlight that peirced through the tree tops.

Izunami
The Red Shula

Nothing could describe what Izunami witnessed. Such a horrible thing to happen to one so young. Izunami, though it only being a memory kept trying to help the young Z, but of course, she could do nothing. The events continued to take place befpre her, the pain becoming unbearable. And as everything went dark, Izunami jolted from her sleep, breathing heavily. Her eye's were watery, she wanted to spill her own tears, but she didn't. Her hands over her heart, trying to calm it, as she looked around, seeing rays of sunlight pouring through the tops of the trees.

Once she was calm, she looked over, noticing Z still fast asleep, but the tears caught her attention, it glimmering in the ray that shinned upon him. A nice sight it was, but she couldn't focus to much on that. A sad life he had to endure, and seeing it broke her heart. Leaning over to him, she lightly brushed the tear from his face. "How could such a thing....happen to you?" She then stood to her feet, her back was towards him now, she trying to regain her composure. This had to be something he never wanted anyone to know, so asking him about it wouldn't be right. So she had to play it off like nothing happened, so calming down was highly recommended.

So Izunami took a couple of breathes and calmed herself. Folding her arms across her chest, she turned it the side, seeing him still sleeping peacefully under the large tree. Though she had calmed, her face still held concern, fright and sadness.

After a few more minutes of sleep, Z finally awoke. He yawned slightly, using a hand to cover his mouth. The tiredness in his eyes was, mostly gone. Tiredness was always present in his eyes, but they seemed more refressed then before.

Z looked up at Izunami and cocked his head to the side.

Oh I applogize, you could have awoken me. How long have you been up?

He was rested enough that he could talk the way he prefered. In the minds of others. Though, if people requested it, he would use his verbal skills rather then invade the privacy of someones mind.

Izunami
The Red Shula

Seeing Z finally awaken, Izunami quickly placed on a smile, as to not give off the impression that something was wrong. "Oh no. It was fine. I had just gotten up anyway", she said, lifting her arms in the air, as if trying to stretch. And even though he continued to speak to her through her mind, it did seem odd to see him not even more his lips as he did so. Izunami didn't mind how he spoke to her, but was happy that he spoke at all, after all that has gone on. "So...", she began to say, trying to change the subject. "Feel well rested now?", she smiled. He seemed to be better, and the look of exhaustion didn't reside in his eye's anymore.

Z gave a nod and a slight smile as he stood, dusting himself off. He strechted, looking around as he took slow steps around the area they were in.

Yes, I do thank you Izunami. How do you feel?

He asked, and even though his voice was in her mind, his sincerity was clear. His eyes looked around as he asked, looking for any indicator that might lead them to Rachael. The only thing he remembered was some of the tallest trees possible.

Izunami
The Red Shula

Hearing him state that he felt rested, gave her a smile. "Good", she thought. And as he asked about herself, she smiled. "I feel good, better than yesterday", she stated. Even though part of her felt terrible, seeing those past memories of his, but that was something she would keep to herself. Looking upon him now, she watched as he looked around. That was right, they were searching for Rachael's whereabouts. So she to began to look, she even to to the air, to view into the distance a bit higher. In the memory, all she remembered was a few tall trees. And from what she could make out the tallest laid about a yard or two away. "I think we should head in that direction", she told him, pointing straight ahead.

Z almost asked about yesterday. Almost, he didnt want to pry. Even though information was his business and he was damned good at knowing, learning and keeping secrets and information. He was going to let this information go. Izunami was his new friend, and he trusted her. And when she suggested a way to go, he only could agree to the suggestion. Alright, that is the way we will go. He turned and started going where Izunami had pointed, the trees grew massive, like the great redwoods. Taller then most buildings and thick enough to drive four cars side by side through. Magnificent things, if you were into that kind of thing. Z, he prefered being in rooms, where he could control his surroundings. But, being here, surrounded by all these trees anda the thickening of the forest, it made him feel, safe.

Walking was much easier now that he had rested. And his dark eyes scanned all over, looking for anything that might help. He was even trying to smell the blood that he was sure would have been pouring fourth from Rachael's wound. As grim as that sounded, it would be one of the few ways besides spotting her body, that they would probably be able to find her.

Izunami
The Red Shula

As he agreed to go in the direction that she gave, Izunami gave a nod and followed behind him, but in the air. Since she was already floating, she might as well just fly anyway, right. But without thinking it through anyway, she did so. So flying in the air, she made her way by side side after awhile, still floating within the air. It would take awhile to get to the very large trees that stood in the distance, so she decided to ask something that ran through her mind. "So...how exactly are you going to bring her back to life?", she asked.

Z thought about Izunami's question. It was a good one, something he hadnt thought through all the way. But he had the basic idea of what he was going to do.

Well, I work for the Jarain's. There are people there, that can save her. Maybe not in her real body. But, we might be able to make a new one for her.

It was a risk. Putting Rachael in a cyber doll could have profound conciquencises on not only her mental health but physical as well. But Z wasnt sure how he was going to do that exactly. He was going to have to call as many JArian specialists as he could, bring them together and try to get them to work together to make Rachael special, make her, perfect.

Izunami
The Red Shula

Izunami turned to him as he began to answer her question. Though she knew not of the Jarain's, it was pleasing to known that there were others who would help him tend to Rachael. Bit there was something that didn't sit well with her. The thought of another body. Would that really be right, or alright? "But...is that alright", she said out loud, still floating in the air, still heading towards the large trees within the distance. "Having another body I mean. To me, it seems....wrong", she expressed. Izunami knew all too well of his determination to assist Rachael, and she would do what she could to help. But getting a new body for the girl, just seemed odd, as well as wrong in some way. But if it was needed to save her, then Izunami would just have to understand that.

Z shook his head. Izunami was right, in normal circumstances she would have been right. But, Rachael was different. She could be a ghost. Disappeare if she wanted to, with their help. And Z was going to make sure that she had life again. Because he felt it was his fault she was dead.

Normally you would be right. But, she deserves new life. And if I could bring her back in her body I would.

He kept walking. But turned his head to look at Izunami.

But her body was, is, to badly damaged. There is nothing we can do for her unless we get her into a new body.

"Nice dog. Rather cute, in fact. Those earmuffs look great."
"Ah, this dog? Found him by a dustbin sitting in a box that said "Adopt Me" on it. His name is Angus."

Aether and Altha were out for a stroll in the park. Although they are underworld demons, the Succubi/Incubi are actually rather gentle creatures. Little did they know Viper (AKA Number 1) was lurking in an Oak tree, waiting to jump out and strike Aether, who he believed had kidnapped "Number 2".

"Ah...RRAAAAAAGGGHHH!...Number 2, are you oka-afaagh! What the hell is wrong with you?"

Viper leaped out and pushed Aether into the ground.
Altha kicked Viper in the face, sending him tumbling to the ground.

"My god, are you okay?! Number 1, you idiot! what do you think your doing?! Thats my brother you just smashed to the ground! My real brother!"

"The hell?! REAL brother? What in the world are you talking about-No...That purple skin...Zero was right...Whatever your up to, your both going down!"

"Up to? Do you think we're a bunch of petty villains trying to bring down society for no damn reason? Our race is not evil. We only devour the souls of sinners, of wrongdoers, of greedy idiots driven by money and treasure. The Succubi and Incubi are peacemakers. You, driven by your pathetic perfectionist attitude are one of those sinners, one of those petty villains. You want to bring down humanity, one of Gods greatest creations, so that they can be replaced by cold, emotionless steel. If I were you, I would listen to Zero and admit you are wrong. You think that the ATX series is superior to humanity, to emotion, to the pureness of flesh.
The humans have their flaws, yes, but real, organic life is worth more than its petty replicas. Now, I suppose your going to try and destroy Zero? Stop thinking you are superior to him. He may as well be human. Good day to you, and hope that God does not reject you."

Altha and Aether continued on their walk, leaving Viper alone with his thoughts.
