"Oh, you're joining me in class?" Cassie said with a smile as she waited till Felicia caught up. Draping an arm over the fox-girl's shoulder she whispered as she led her away, "Couldn't turn down a class with Mr. Nixon, especially a martial arts class, now could you? Don't worry, I don't judge. Hell, I don't mind his class that bad for the eye candy myself. Some of the others are in really good shape and wear some really form fitting workout gear."
Laughing she added as she reached her room, "Me? I love to flirt but of course I'm not serious about any of them. Not my types unfortunately. Ah, it is so sad... then again I don't think my type exists." She opened her door and picked out apair of shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and tennis shoes. As she picked out her clothes she was already pulling off her boots and tights and looking through her glasses collection to find a matching pair of glasses. Even clothes for a martial arts class she liked to make a statement in.
"Oh, feel free to raid my drawers and wear whatever you want," Cassie added.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. You are pretty powerful," he answered thinking she trailed off about her insecurity about her fighting ability. "I don't compliment people who don't deserve it."

"I can't convince you to think like me, though, can I?" He said with a slight smile. "How about we just train for an hour or so and then you get me on the jet that Warp will probably take for this mission. What's your mission, by the way?"

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker blushed a little as Amp made his compliment on her skills. She wanted to correct him... let him know that lack of confidence wasn't why she trailed off. Which by his answer seemed to be what he was thinking. Yet she couldn't. She couldn't risk complicating things this early in the plan. She took a deep breath as he continued and listened. She shook her head slowly in answering his question about changing the way she thought. Then he asked about the mission. "He hasn't said much of what the mission entails. He said we'd leave this afternoon..." She narrowed her eyes as she remembered something else,"he also mentioned something about a parade on Wednesday."

"Probably a pro-MRD parade in one of the major cities," Amp said with a shrug, his voice tinged with distaste. "I remember them back in Boston. There tends to be different celebrations for various MRD gadgets. I suppose it is the MRD's way of reminding homo-superiors of their power. They'll probably be showing off something big. I suppose in Warp's view it would be advantageous to interrupt the parade or whatever."
"They had a big celebration in Boston in honor of the installation of the first mutant detector in the nation two years ago. Kinda wished I paid attention that it was installed at the court house and didn't go on that field trip. Then again, it isn't like I have powers that would tip me off that I am a homo-superior," said Amp. He forced a smile and continued, "I actually messed up Warp's original plan to destroy it. Guess I'm a bit of a bad luck charm for his missions."

my name is Shadow Walker She smirked at his last comment and said, "Perhaps that is another reason why you should be an X-Man." The playful smirk grew serious,"Y'know they will try to stop us. If you're right about your suspicions of this being an MRD parade. The MRD, they are as much their enemy as they are ours. In a sense... trying to stop us... Wouldn't that mean that they support the MRD? Not saying it to change your mind...but something to think about..." She took a stance, or trying to, "We've still have about 45 minutes before the plan takes place." She waited for his next move.

"Yeah, but terrorism- blowing up things and killing people, even MRD- like Warp does gives bad press to homo-superiors," Amp said with a frown. "Or at least that is what the X-men reason. Don't get me wrong I hate the MRD, I really do, but I love Cassie more. I can't help but sort of see her stance on thing." He smiled, "Maybe I'm an idiot. It isn't like they support the MRD and what they are doing they just support human life- both homo-superior and regular human life."
"Anyways, you said you wanted to do some more training before we go? How about something quick, then? You just see if you can land one hit on me. You can use powers or whatever, I won't touch your powers this time because you'll need them probably to sneak me out," he said, casually moving into a readying stance for a fight or sparing.

my name is Shadow Walker "Heh! You're going to regret that!" She let loose a punch she knew she wasn't going to hit him being as experienced he was. She wanted to watch and gauge his reaction. Then hopefully grab some idea on how to counter. Amp laid the idea on the table that she could sneak behind him. The thing is, by laying that on the table it became something he was expecting her to rely on. She had to figure out something different. Perhaps something with shadow manipulation? How? As the fight progressed a plan started to form. She was able to have a vine come out of the shadow... and come to think of it hands as well when she was sitting with Amp and Blink on the couch. One of those things should work. She did swung a left hook followed by a right cross.

Amp easily dodged her punches and smiled, laughing he said, "Me regret that? Ah, come on, you call that a punch? I could dodge these in my sleep." He was a little disappointed she didn't come at him with her powers, but maybe she wasn't confident in her powers... then again, despite Amp's goading and gloating, he did have to do a little work to dodge her punches.
Even for an inexperienced fighter she was naturally fast and agile thanks to her secondary powers of increased strength and agility. Actually, if Amp hadn't naturally been faster and stronger than most people or homo-superiors, he might of had to focus more in the fight and rely more on his training. When fighting a well trained fighter, like some of the other Brotherhood or even Cassie, he had to rely more on his training, with Shadow Walker he relied more on instinct. Maybe he was being lazy and reckless, but that was half the fun, right? Besides, it was only a sparing match, and he considered letting her get one hit in before they went just to be nice, anyways, probably a few more minutes in when he could feign he was getting tired...

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker had a subtle smile on her face. She did her last move again causing him to go near his shadow and hoping she timed it right creepy shadow hands came out from his shadow and grabbed his wrists. Then she through another punch for his stomach.

Amp raised a brow at Shadow Walker's smile but continued to dodge. He stepped back as he dodged another punch when he felt a grip tighten on his wrists. Frowning, he glanced down to see the shadowy hands coming from his shadow. Glancing up he saw Shadow Walker's punch heading towards his stomach and he prepared for the contact. Meanwhile he made a mental note that if he ever had to seriously go against her in a real fight he would drain her powers without hesitation. Hell, she's almost as bad as Warp with his ability to warp reality, Amp thought considering her powers.

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker hit him but not at full force she pulled back after her fist made contact with his stomach. He had to be in good shape for the plan to commence. "I did it?" that seem to be easier than expected... Best keep that to myself.... Shadow Walker looked at the time. "If we're doing this ... this may be a good time to get you to the cargo of the jet."

"Of course you did," Amp said rubbing his stomach where Shadow Walker hit him, lightly. "Don't act so surprised, you're hurting my feelings," he joked. "I wasn't expecting you to have been able to progress so quickly with your powers. I knew your capabilities, I just didn't think you could. Honestly, in a fight where you have your powers you more likely than not would be able to best me. After all, your power is almost as immense as Warp's-and Warp I would never be able to best if we were in a fair fight and he was able to use his powers."
He shrugged, "Anyways, the plan, right. Well, you know where the hanger is. And, Warp tends to prefer the smaller jet that I had tried to steal earlier. Do you think you can teleport us there?"
He then smiled broadly, "You don't know how much this means to me... your help. To get to see Cassie again. To be able to finally help her. It really is great. I haven't seen her in about a year. Do you think she has forgotten about me?" He glanced down at his clothes and frowned, a pair of jeans that weren't name brand, and a T-shirt that said "Zombie Mozart is Decomposing" which he thought was witty at the time he bought it, "Do you think I look okay?"

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker blushed a little as he asked about his looks. It came a little unexpected when he was wondering about Cassie at one point then wondering how he looks the next. She wanted to say you look mighty fine to me but bit her lip in thought as she considered the situation. "You look alright to me.. however... do you want to make a first impression with that shirt? I love the sense of humor but might I suggest something a little more formal. Perhaps a pare of jeans that are a little less worn out and a button shirt could work.... It's just my two cents."

"Right..." Amp muttered with a frown. "Cassie is so classy, and beautiful, and intelligent, I don't want to look bad in front of her. The problem is I remember from when I last met her she is really into name brands: she got mad when I accidentally broke her Gucci-or Prada-or whatever it was- frame glasses... I don't have anything expensive like that. Even in her X-men uniform she looked amazing... Give me a minute I'm going to find something else."
He ran into his room and two minutes later came out with a black button up shirt and a pair of jeans, that though they didn't have holes in them like his previous pair, they weren't particularly fancy or expensive. "Alright, let's go... thanks for your advice, Shadow Walker. Thanks for understanding. Cassie means everything to me and I don't want to lose even the smallest bit of a chance I have because I look like a stupid kid to her... And I don't know how much sway she has with the X-men. If she hates me, maybe they won't take me..."
Still frowning he sighed and said, "Well, we should go then..."

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker let out a little sigh,"Yah...I guess so..." she took his hand. Blushing a little as she did, "I'm getting the hang of my power but there are some things I don't know and I don't want to loose you in the darkness..." With that they sink in thier shadows. She stayed close to the surface so that she could peek through the light to make sure she could see where they were going as they went. They got to the hanger and emerged in the cargo area of the jet they were in earlier. She handed him her phone, "Here take this, Warp is going to wonder why I didn't text him when things were turning for the worse." It looked like she wanted to say something else but had to remind herself it wasn't the time. "We'll I'll see you later I guess..." She backed away and dropped through her shadow. She returned to his apartment, What am I doing!? If this plan succeeds I won't be able to see him again...yet... it would be better for him... He wouldn't be locked away anymore. He'd be happier...happier with her... she let out another sigh. She placed her hand on the sealed door and walked into her shadow. She emerged across the hall and went to where she last saw Warp and Blink. "Is it time sir?"

Amp allowed the girl to take his hand, not caring one way or the other: if it made it easier for her, why did it matter? When they reached the hanger and Shadow Walker handed him her phone he nodded and said before she disappeared into the shadows, "Thanks again. I owe you."When Shadow Walker arrived, Warp turned at her question. He was carrying a sniper rifle and Blink looked furious-almost as if the two had just finished a fight-, wearing a light brown wig. "Yeah, I'm ready," he said with a forced smile. "You will need to wear a wig to help blend in the crowd where we are going... we won't be staying in the crowd long but long enough it's best not to stick out in the beginning. Blink is coming too because she used to visit New York City quite a bit when she was younger.""Are you sure she can handle this... going to New York into a pro-MRD parade where they are going to have Sentinels and then help you so you can murder someone in cold blood?" Blink hissed.
Warp forced a smile at her and said coldly, "She's a Brotherhood member, unlike you, I think she would accept that the head of a MRD isn't the type of person you would label it as "murder" to kill. Besides you could just not go. Of course I will have to explain to Magneto how you blatantly refused to follow his orders."
Blink narrowed her eyes at him and took a deep breath before handing over a long black wig to Shadow Walker. "Here, I suppose this is what Warp wants you to have, golden girl." She leaned down and hissed to Shadow Walker, "Hope you don't mess up this mission, because I would really hate to see what would happen if you fell from your throne." With a smile she walked away and as she left she called out, "I'm heading to the hanger. I will give you two some alone time to sort out logistics..."
