"And that would explain why I can't even see it. Try and get it if you can, but don't forget that our objective is still the Keldeo. Don't forget about it," Claire warned the four with microphones.

Lily frowned deeply at Kyle, shifting into a defensive stance in case he tried anything else, her Audino looking similarly prepared to deal with any further offensive movements. "As you said," the small brunette replied icily, glaring daggers at the blond, "we've traveled."

Noel folded her hands at her waist once more, her smile intact as she addressed Kyle, "I'm not sure it's fair to call two 'a lot,' Rudy." Her tone chilled as she uttered the pseudonym.

"People are always so quick to resort to barbarism," she said, speaking to the group at large. "It's disgraceful and unbecoming. If there's some problem, is it really so outlandish to attempt to resolve it through peaceful negotiation? That is the privilege with which we humans have been bestowed."

Peaceful negotiation was a nice idea and all, but the Keldeo clearly had other thoughts in mind. The rangers that had been so kind to it were under attack by people with bad intentions, and it felt no mercy as it fought through the paralysis to leap forward and swing the massive sword it wore upon its head, the energy elongating as if reaching out for the Rockets as it swept through the courtyard.

"Oh fu-!"

The sound of Keldeo's attack ripping up the ground cut off Aulus' cuss; he dived to the side and came up running, not stopping until the attack passed. Was he in one piece? Seemed to be in one piece. Okay, all limbs present, time to go!

"So tell me something," Aulus intoned in his very most sneering British tones to Noel. "Were you born with that stick up your arse, or did you have it specially installed for the occasion? You want something from us Galactic, you deal with me."

With that quip he started towards the pair of Galactics first at a walk and then quickening to a run, grabbing five of his six pokeballs and trying to release their occupants again; potentially making the damn b***h use her device thingie again might just buy him and the others a moment or two. Might.

"Well, that's not what I said, but okay." Kyle replied with a shrug. lowering his hands to brush himself off.

"Yeah well, given your reputation I'm sure that... negotiations haven't really been on the table in the past. But hey! I guess there is a first time for everything right?"
He stepped out of the flower bed reaching up to pull the sun glasses off of his face and smile awkwardly.

He didn't get much in the way of a word when something struck him without him even being aware that he was in danger.
The force of the attack slit at his side and across half his chest, Kyle let out a drowned cry of pain, once again finding himself hit the ground with a gross splash of blood as it pored from a nasty gash from his side.

Riley let out a loud yelp as the legendary tore the courtyard apart with its attack and quickly ran and dove for safety. When it appeared the attack was over-- and she found herself somehow completely unscathed, bless Arceus-- she pushed herself back to her feet and released Molly again as she looked around, hoping the galactic device only worked once.

The others, it appeared, hadn't gotten off quite as lucky, and she was immediately torn between helping them and pulling all the stops to-- weaken and hopefully secure-- the legendary.

Uh oh. Xander dropped to the ground to avoid the attack from the Keldeo. Thankfully it worked and he quickly pushed his self back up then tried to call out Zack.

"Ella, IRON DEFENSE!" Tambrey mentally added a lot of 'pleases' as she threw Ella's ball and tried to dive out of the way as the Keldeo attacked.

She wasn't sure if Ella emerged or not, but the next thing she was away of was the taste of the ground, the sound of... things tearing, the ground, she hoped, and then a lot of pain along her right leg, and up her right side.
That couldn't be good.
She was sure she made a cry as she went down, but she didn't remember the fall.

Zacharie actually agreed that peaceful negotiation was far superior to fighting but....how dare she call him a barbarian! Well...she was insulting the group in general but still! He looked up at Lu to give him a 'can you believe she just called us that?' look before his gaze slowly drifted over to the Keldeo.

It felt like everything happened in slow motion.

"Lu, get out of the way!" He shouted as he scrambled to his feet. Not that it mattered though, he'd only just gotten his footing when he felt a searing pain across his back had him landing heavily on his hands and knees as he cursed every single oath he knew. Which was a lot.

Now wasn't the time to stop though, now was definitely not the time to stop.

Without a second thought he tried to release Chiro, Irina, Jabari, and Essex from their pokeballs. "Lu..Tambrey..are you both alright?" He gritted through his teeth as he struggled to ignore the pain in his back. He was going to be a medic, this is what he did! He didn't have time to roll around in pain!
