Eris, realizing there was little she could do, went over the Haunter, who was coming to the same conclusion. He glanced over to see Shadow still standing by, reluctant to move until he was sure the others were all going to be okay.

Scarlet eyes narrowing, Haunter flew toward Shadow and grabbed the teen under his arms to carry him out of range of a Dragon Pulse attack. Eris decided to go back into stealth mode and follow close after.

"Hey, wait - what?" the teen cried, unsure what was going on. "Put me dow - whoa!!" Rocks were falling from the ceiling as they sped toward the entrance. The Haunter seemed more determined than ever to get them out. Shadow was too stunned to put up much of a fight.

"We gotta find that deer legendary," he told the pokemon carrying him. "They need our Quick Balls."

The Haunter nodded once, its face completely serious and even somewhat grim as it charged toward the exit, focusing on its destination and little else.

"I'll have one of those!" KO said, quickly snatching a Quick Ball from Frost's extended hand, he didn't want to think what would happen if he showed up without one!

Uuuuugh, and it was out of the fire and into the other fire. "Come on Viceroy, that way!" he indicted the coordinates and the Arcanine took off again.

He was still holding Clancy.

Lex grunted, as the attacks made him fall, sliding over the smooth cave floor and shifted to roll, tossing a pokeball up.

Howlback appeared and sent a Confuse ray behind her, wings flared protectively over her trainers as he scrambled to his feet.

Bruised, Lex started off again, moving towards the much brighter cave entrance as his crobat caught air, and rose above him.

He checked his dex, nodding. Okay, okay, he was coming.

Punching the coordinate's into his dex Jerome hopped onto Turret, his only goal was to make sure they got to to coordinates.

Slender continued to creature confusing illusions to trick anyone but Rockets into what direction they were going.

"Wah!" Suddenly there was a ghost attacking Regent... and taking him out! And then it was cold, and then she felt pressure from Psychic, and it wasn't from Franklin, and there was so much noise...
"Franklin! Psychic that Gourgeist!"
The little psychic, in no small thanks to their current mount's limbs, /was/, like the humans, avoiding the /worst/ of the attacks, but she'd -never- been on a mission. She tried to Psychic the ghost, and then immediately felt herself battered by things she'd never felt and was entirely out of the fight before she's even truly begun.

Tambrey recalled her, realising she was about to faint anyway. She just wasn't trained, or experienced, enough to face a /champion's/ pokémon. It had been silly to call her out, but Tam'd hoped, with attacks like Psychic, she'd be some use... Now she felt rather guilty instead. She did glance at her 'dex and grimaced. She didn't /have/ her Quick Ball anymore...

Clancy continued to yell "Aaaaaaaaaargh!" and flail about. He still couldn't do much else in his present situation.

"Thanks!" Shadow called as the Haunter dove low enough for him to grab the other extra. "See you outside!"

EXIT! Ah! Adam lunged towards the opening, calling out to Flicker "Hit a fire spin behind the last rockets!" Hopefully a blow of fire would further confuse and stop some pokemon so they could knock out the entrance. He waited until the attack completed and then withdrew the candle again, leaving the entrance.

Once they were all outside, the barrage of attacks against the cave's outer walls succeeded in collapsing the entrance in short order, trapping Diantha and her pokemon inside -- or at least, preventing her escape from the Route 11 entrance.

Upon arriving at the coordinates provided in the previous message, the Rockets would find a somewhat chaotic situation. Both Claire and Rook had several of their pokemon out, trying to herd Xerneas into a corner against the cave's outer wall. The deer legendary stumbled and repeatedly shook its head as if trying to clear it, clearly suffering some effect that made it sluggish and a little disoriented. It shook its head one more time before summoning a circle of colorful lights around itself that practically danced across the grass around its hooves with Geomancy.

"Oh, Arceus...we're all gonna diiiie!" the teenage grunt cried as he shut his eyes, putting up his arms to protect his face from debris raining down as they were about to clear the cave opening. The Haunter, meanwhile, did not stop, charging on and clearly determined.
