Miles glanced back to Witum stumbling behind them. With a quick tug of the reigns he turned the nienna and started towards him. Reaching out a hand he called over "Take my hand when I come by, I'll swing you on"
Yousei's Nienna cried out as it was peirced in several places by the golem. To add to the already unbearable pain, any tunnel it'd been burrowing had collapsed ontop of it under the weight of the golem, smothering the creature in a clo mound of rock.

Witium nodded to Miles and looked down to his peirced shoulders, "This is going to hurt." He took hold of his freinds hand and grunted in pain as the swinging stretched his wound. The elf held onto Miles with his other arm and left the right lie limp,"Ow..." He looked back to the golem stuck in the sand and the cloud of dust, "Miles...does this happen often in these lands?"

"Not every day," Miles muttered, "But it's not completley uncommon." He glanced back to Yousei, on the Nienna, wrapping the reigns tighter around his hands. "How you doin' back there?" He called back to her, glancing between, Her, Witium, and the path.

Yousei gave a reassuring smile and nodded. Her eyes fell to the walls of rock as they swiftly passed. With each step they took toward Eden, Yousei could not help but feel as though they were traveling to their death.
Suddenly, a flash of red, black, and white passed before her eyes. She turned to further examine the object, and soon realized that it was Karasu! She was moving at an accelerated pace, and appeared to have several spikes protruding from her back, as well as a stranger in her teeth. Blood streamed forth from the wounds, but she continued gaining speed, and had soon disappeared around a bend in the path. Yousei tugged on Miles's cloak, "Did you see that? It was Karasu! And she looked hurt!!" Yousei pleaded him to urge the Nienna onward at a faster pace.

Karasu sped down the pathway. She could feel herself growing weak, but she refused to give in until she had reached the end of the mountain trail. If she were to stay behind with the others, she would only slow them down, jeopardizing their safety... She had to keep moving...

Miles nodded, urging the Nienna onward. The weight on its back, however, kept it from breaking anything near it's top speed and instead had it moving only slightly faster than an average horse. Miles gritted his teeth, glancing back to Yousei, "We can't go any faster without wearing her out."  

[Mitsuharu Saito]

Camthalion woke. He felt delusional, sleepy, and fatigued. He was on his stomach, staring at a mouse who was looking for something to snack on. The ground was filthy, covered in mud, slime, grit, and manure. The walls were relatively in the same condition, except for an open area with four lead pipes in front of the space. Slowly, he stood up, pain seering his body. Some of his wounds that occurred so long ago had been reaggrivated, especially in his chest. He immediately fell to the ground again, exhausted. His purple eyes were coming in and out of focus, his chest convulsing, his mind traveling elsewhere. Wh...where am I? Am...I in hell? I am starving. Is there food around?

Witium patted Yousei and Miles on the shoulder, "I think it's best you guys find karasu faster, I'll catch up later on." With that he slide off the back side of the nienna. He tucked and rolled agianst the sand until he came to a complete stop. From there the elf waved to them and began running after. His breath and pace was constant as he followed the nienna's tracks, "Now things will get done quicker." He thought into Yousei's mind after a mile of running, ~Good Luck Yousei~

Mirasande was some miles away from the town, huddled against a rock. Her eyes scanned the bleak horizon for any sign of life. Luthien had gone off to hunt hours ago and hadn't come back, and it was beginning to get dark, and Mirasande was worried. At the most, Luthien was usually only gone for an hour or two when hunting, and if she hadn't caught anything by then, she came back. Mirasande sighed and pulled her cloak tight around her and leaned back, closing her eyes.  

[Lyf Orion]

Shivering in the chill night, Lyf looked about him in exasperation. He was standing in a copse of small stunted trees about a hundred yards away from the main path into town.

He had been kicked out of Eden, again, for another night out in the cold. "Stupid baker wouldn't have sold all that bread before it whent bad anyways.." he muttered, hugging himself against the cold. Looking aboout for any other possible shelter one last time, he gave a resigned sigh and sunk down to the ground, wrapping his cloak around him. Before completely settling down to sleep he whent through his nightly ritual...mussing his hair just a bit, and arranging himself in as cute a way as he could without a pillow.

"You never know," he repeated smiling in his head or the hundredth time, "when a cute lady might find you whilst you were dozing." He smiled and drifted off to sleep.

Yousei looked back as Witium jumped off of the Nienna, and quickly faded into the distance. She had hoped that they would not have to resort to such measures, but it was too late to protest.
Once we find Karasu, we'll come back for him, she thought to herself, easing her conscience, before turning once more to face the trail.

Farther along the path, Karasu ran onward, while carefully holding the stranger. She could finally see the end of the path before her, though her vision was beginning to blur. Just as darkness was about to consume her, Karasu shot forth in a burst of speed until she had reached the end of the mountain trail, only to fall unconscious beside the mysterious newcomer.

The Nienna was moving at a much faster pace now, and after much twisting and turning, the had path finally ended, and the desert, once more, could be seen. As they approached the end of the trail, Yousei noticed a large silhouette lying in the sand. Her heart sank. Due to the Nienna's speed, she had almost no time to prepare herself for what she saw next.
There lie Karasu, motionless, in the desert sand. Her eyes were dark, and her scales had lost their luster, even in the desert sun. Yousei immediately dismounted the Nienna and knelt by her dragon's side. Tears welled in Yousei's eyes as she held her hands over each wound and muttered the words with which to heal them. Just as Yousei was about to give up hope, Karasu blinked and turned to look at her. Yousei smiled and embraced her tightly. Karasu smiled happily for the first time since their arrival in the Eastern Province. After a few moments, Yousei's eyes fell upon the stranger. She looked curiously to Karasu, then back at him.

[I know it's a lot to read, but I wanna get to Eden! Lol]

As Yousei dismounted the Nienna, Miles tugged hard on the creatures Reigns, forcing its front end into the air once more. "Oh s**t," He muttered as the creature becan to tip backwards. Jumping off, he landed crooked in the sand and went to his knees. With a quick push he attempted to move out of the way, only to have his foot slip. He quickly tried crawling away, making it out from under the lizard as it came down on his left leg. "Ouch," He muttered, turning to face it as the Nienna lazily rolled back onto its feet.

Yousei put a hand to her mouth as she saw the Nienna topple over, and quickly ran to Miles's side to offer him a hand. Karasu slowly rolled onto her stomach and got to her feet. She shook slightly as she regained her defiant stature and stretched her wings.

Miles took Yousei's hand, pulling himself up while making sure not to pull her down. Once on his feet he looked to Karasu, smirking. "How you doing lizard?" He questioned, watching her flex her wings.  

[[Faelan]]

Karasu looked over to Miles and smirked. ~Better,~ she said, her eyes turned toward the sky, ~And you, boy?~ she inquired, looking back to him and folding her wings.

"Little hungry," Miles replied simply, shrugging his shoulders. He looked to Yousei, then down to the stranger. "Oh, That things still here." He looked to Karasu "Who is it?"
