I watched it like five times.
Oh my goodness, I'm more amused than I probably should be.

Hahahahahaha thank you!!! xd emotion_hug That makes me really happy to see you enjoyed it!

I had to dig the hole entirely by hand since we didn't bring a shovel, and I felt like my arms were going to fall off eek My sister helped bury me (she's the one who flops down beside me).

Oh gosh, by hand? That's some diligence, there!
Ohh, I thought that was who I spied making a cameo.
Looks like it was a fun time, though, and such a pretty beach, I'm not big on the ocean, really, but darn if a pretty beach like that isn't still appealing.

I hate long item quests! Been saving up for Fairlily for days on end. Every time I check the market, some idiot keeps selling it for a trillion gold or more! It's not even worth that much since it's one of the many super scarce items! Ugh! I'll never find one for a fair deal at this rate! emotion_facepalm

I just wanted to say I'm absolutely in love with your avi. emotion_kirakira
It reminds me of Tron, which happens to be one of my favorite movies. >>;
Everything looks so well together, and I adore the colors, and just, great job~

I'm not sure how I feel about this new currency yet...
I mean, it's nice not seeing such a huge string of numbers, and makes it easier to tell prices of gold shop items, but this majorly inflates the cost of paw items since a great many of them sell for less than 10M...
Which I guess is a quasi currency sink?
I don't feel like I'll be enjoying this all that much, somehow, but I'm willing to give it a shot, at least...

!!! Thank you!! biggrin Tron was definitely a fantastic movie, so I can see why it's a favorite for you!! I made the avi for Gaia Spirit Week Afterparty since this week's theme is Space Odyssey, and I love black/blue combinations and I just... happen to have... 46739585720486 items of that scheme........ for sci-fi themes... sweatdrop

Ok, so I was on a ship doing an acoustics survey. I was the HAB(Harmful Algal Blooms) technician, my job was to sample for and identify HABs along the west coast. The project that I was on was piggybacking on a Hake survey.
Hake is an important fishery on the west coast. Basically Hake is generic "fish", companies will use it as a cheaper alternative, as such Pacific Hake was being over fished and the survey that I was on will be used to set quotas for harvest.
I was out for around 16 days, up for about 19 hours a day, some of it relaxing(mostly working). It was HARD.
But there were rewarding times; I saw dolphins galore, whales breaching, too much fish....
The best moment was when they were starting to wind down the leg of the cruise that I was on, a line got wrapped around the centerboard(which is how they do the sonar stuff to find the fish and the bottom depth). We were done, like 4 lines past where they wanted to stop. Still it kinda wastes money to go back early. Thing is they couldn't get the line out, it was stuck and we couldn't do anything. They decided to send out the ROV to get a look at it, but no one knew how to actually drive it. So, of course, I volunteered to drive it and they let me. So there I was freaking out with all the higher ups crouching around me. They ended up figuring out that the rope was wrapped on something on the other side of the hull. I saved the boat a day of having to go back to port and have a diver go down to get it free, potentially costing a lot of money.

Admittedly, but it's still frustrating.
Just thinking that something that might have previously cost half to one mil, it's now ten to twenty times its original worth just because of a currency switch and new limitations, and thinking about such a situation in real world terms is enough to make me feel ill.
Sounds like a good time with good experience to be had on the boat, though!
Also sounds like something that'll look really good for you down the road for other work opportunities in that field if you pursue them. c:

That sounds like a really good adventure smile
