Duriono's eyes jolted over to where June once was, thinking it was the same situation as with Kagura, his eyes turned back to Zephyr, and where he thought he had heard the disembodied voice of Barbarus.
"The hell did you just do!?" He shouted, "Where the hell's Kagura! Where'd June go!?"
Zephyr ignored him, his arms crossed. The beast remained stationary, only growlling softly.
"Well then, how about we tear out their wills to live? That'd be a glorious death! Punishment for corrupting man kind!"

A vein popped up on Duriono's forehead, hidden by his hat. He bared his fangs, and shot up at Zephyr, he deflected them with a gentle flap of his wings.
"So, mind if I get a little fun with our little play thing while you get things started?" He requested. Three dots on the beast's head began to glow crimson, as it came to life. Lowering it's head to look closely at Duriono.
"...@#$#.." He cursed, annoyed that he was being annoyed, and that he had to deal with this thing.

Duriono looked around quickly, it was true.. He had been alone with this beast and Zephyr. He wasn't too sure about how he'd take the thing down now, but then again. He always loved a challenge.
He retrieved his broadsword, holding it with one hand and a revolver in the other.
Zephyr turned back to face Duriono, and with a snap of his fingers, the beast swung down at the demon. Forcing him to roll out of the way and scurry off for dear life.
"God dammit!!!" He shouted, clapping his hands and tapped the ground trying to transmute something to aid him. It didn't work however, only resulting in a small spark. Cursing under his breath as the beast launched a volley of bullets at him, Duri blocked them with his broadsword, his stance slowly being crushed by the onslaught. Eventually the blade shattered, and the beast drove it's fist forward, tossing Duriono up into the air and slammed him into the bridge once again with his fist. Breaking several bones and all of his ribs, resulting in a blood curtling shriek.
"That's it Gatekeeper! Scream loud enough so that your slaves may hear you! Scream and suffer through the pain human kind has gone through for centuries now!" Zephyr cackled, holding up a hand to halt the beast's next attack. "But don't go dying on me too soon!"
Duriono gritted his teeth, healling quickly now that he was in a stationary position. He was soon back on his feet, Scythe in his hands. He shot the three heads at one of the monster's shoulder's tugging as hard as he could, trying to set the monster off guard. To no avail, it simply tugged him to it and clutched him tightly in a claw. "You really are an idiotic demon aren't you!" He laughed psychoticly, landing on it's shoulder. He walked onto it's hands and kicked Duriono across the face harshly several times before crouching down.
"Would you scream for me again? Just one more time before?" He smiled a sly grin, snatching his hat and tossed it into the abyss.

Zephyr began to stomp on Duriono's head.
"What is even the purpose of that damn hat! You wear it all the damn time! What are you trying to hide!?" He questioned, the gatekeeper turned silent, "Let me tell you something right now.." He stopped, removing his foot and crouched down once again.
"As of right now.. Your little gang of mercenaries are all dead..."
Duriono raised his head, eyes bloodshot. "Say that one more time.. I didn't quite hear you!" He shouted, bareing his fangs.
"Your mercs are broken, your apprentice being gutted by her very own father as we speak. While I celebrate in their blood!" He cackled for a moment, then became silent.
"Listen.. listen to the deafening silence.. look over to those paintings.." He nudged over to the row of pillars at the end of the area. What used to be an image of the ones fighting in guardian's fort was replaced with a rather large blood stain on each one. "Your loved one will be next, I might as well break you in two now so that you may reunite in the depths of hell!" He flew off, spreading his wings as he hovered around them.
"Oh but why not let you two watch eachother suffer? Maybe that one last shove will tear out that last bit of false bravery!?"

Duriono's heart stopped, he felt tears welling up in his eyes..
Everything they had gone through.. broken like this.. those who were dragged into this fight of his, exterminated just like that.. Every mercenary dead because they had met him. Would June have been safe if she hadn't met him? Would Kagura?
He just about let go of everything when the beast roared out in pain. An arm sliced off with a keen edge. The hand released and Duriono dropped through the sky. Watching Lucifer Leaping the gap, Kagura and Salem close behind.
"Your so pathetic Master!" Kagura shouted, "Tears?! Demons don't cry! This is no time to cry! You can't afford too!"
"What the-" Zephyr turned to Kagura, his sentence being cut off by a loud censoring noise.
"What happened to mister tough guy!? Man up to your problems! Forget the what ifs! I killed my own wife!" Lucifer scolded.
"C'mon kiddo! It's not over yet is it!? This is your world ain't it! The gate! You own it, now beat down this b*****d!" Salem chipped in, they formed a triangle around the beast. Lucifer began to hammer it with demonic magic while Kagura played a riveting melody on her flute, Salem manuvered around the enviroment, getting at the beast with his twin blades.
"....."
Duriono said nothing, shuting his eyes as a demonic smirk crossed his face. He awakened, spreading demonic wings, his skin turned pitch black as an arm envolped itself in a twilight colored aura. He shot back up into the sky, twin gunblades in hand.
"I don't need you, to show me how to live!" He shouted, launching a volley of bullets at Zephyr and Barbarus,
"It makes no difference gatekeeper! The result will be the same!" Zephyr took the bullet, wincing silently. Then flew at Duriono swinging at his arm, Duri swerved around, slashing him across the back.

Zephyr spun around, shooting at Duriono's head. He lowered it and the shot went through his hair, spotting the first shadow through the corner of his eye, he spun around, sweeping his foot along the way. Zephyr was knocked onto his back, a position where flying was impossible, he plummeted onto one of the bridges. Duriono dashed after him shooting several rounds, he deflected them and nailled the demon in the shoulders a couple of times. Zephyr then leapped out of the way of the impact, where Duriono retracted his wings into a cloak, they lunged at eachother, clashing blades. Zephyr overpowered him and planted several quick slashes on him before planting a fierce thrust into him.
Duriono leapped just out of the way, swapping his target to a few shadows pursuing him. His blades went through them, frustrated Duriono shot them with the gunblade with Faith's resound as the ranged component, Zephyr came up behind him and slashed at his neck, Duriono crouched, spun around and rose up slashing upwards. Zephyr was slashed lightly, he then struck back with a fierce attack, his hand formed a blue flame. He slid forward and with a swing of his blade, he defended the attack with the swords, but still recieved decent damage himself. His guard broken afterwards, Zephyr took this chance to go on the offensive, Duri dodged one last time and shot him with both guns in the back, destroying his wings. Stumbling forward from this attack, Duriono pursued, stabbing him through the back and ramming them both off of the bridge. Zephyr spun around and slashed Duriono afew times as he did the same to him, relentlessly hacking at eachother until Zephyr blasted Duriono away from his with a burst of light, sending him back into his more human form.

They landed on opposite sides of a field soaked in red blood like water, the weapons of the mercenaries lying about. Next their various corpses. A fountain in the center of the field, pumpped the liquid over the rocks.
Zephyr got to his feet first, his lightweight armor damaged. He stood up limply, a crazed look in his eye never need before. He staggered over to the downed Duriono slowly, lifting a single blade, darker in color than the water.
"Look around gatekeeper... I've brought them all this way just for you..." He sneered, his feet picking up in speed. The gatekeeper stood up, blood streaming down his face, he wipped it aside and stood his ground.
