I'm not a regular here, but people over that age in an rp guild is kind of weird on Gaia.
sweatdrop oh gawd...there's an anti-noob cult here too? Spear me.

Why is it "weird" that older folks like to roleplay as much as younger folks?

I wouldn't really know if it's weird or not. Most of the rps I've been in have been with people my age, or slightly younger (or much older. XD)
I think the only member of an anti-noob cult here, if any, would be Tana. XD

Well ~blood pouring all over the floor~, it's still weird, really because well... Most older people don't need to rp considering the fact that most of them can actually live out a pretty interesting storyline of there own. lol

Ah.. People wish. Yeah, adults have lives and all, but they still need a place to relax from time to time

Ha! I WISH my life was as interesting as roleplays you find around here. XD Just because I'm a "grown up" doesn't mean that my life is "too interesting" to stop roleplaying. I didn't even start doing all this until I was in college! Besides, more often than not, my "grown-up life" is boring and annoying - jobs, bills, buying groceries... Roleplaying is an escape into something way more interesting than what I do on a daily basis. :3

Noshi - wait 'till you're out of college, in debt up to your eyeballs, have kids demanding attention and/or a job you hate just to make ends meet, and almost every conversation you have with ANYONE includes the price of gas... and tell me you've outgrown the need for a little imagination when you can get it.

Magni Prime sweatdrop Are we bashing oldbies now? crying I am likely the oldest person here, and Captain, for you newbies. nah, don't worry about it! *huggles Magni* Besides, usually those that are older teach you and inspire you. They tend to be more descriptive, and you can learn to become more literate, ect ect.

I prefer older RPers, actually.
Unless the young'uns know how to spell and RP well.
I have a certian young RPer I want to STRANGLE. Damn it does he frustrate me. I hope to God someone kills his character or something. Every post he writes drives me up a f*cking wall.
[No one in here.]
I mean, I know I'm not some RPing goddess of any sort, but at least a attempt to write something worth while in every post.

Age tends to dictate literacy and intelligence, but not always. I miss my old friend Galatea. She knew how to rp very well.
